Your logo design can make your businesses personality stand out and attract more people within their view of it, so you need to be sure it's amazing and the best you possibly can get, but it also can't break the bank because you're in business to make money and not go broke lol.  There are people out there that have spent thousands of dollars on their unique logos but they could have saved that money and done it themselves or just paid a freelancer to do the same amount of work for a fraction of the price.

I never pay more than $350 for an amazing logo and now I know some of you who've paid $750+ are jealous, angry, or eager to hear what I have to say and how I get my amazing logos for so cheap 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time  Yes, paying $350 for a logo is cheap, but that's usually my maximum for each website I launch.  I've been searching for ways to make logos myself as well as who to pay in order to get something amazing in return, and after a bunch of trial and error, I know exactly where my money is going when I need something designed 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time

If you're in the market for a new logo, below are 3 ways you can get it done well and for a cheaper rate than those professional design companies charging you $750 or $3,000+ for a simple design.

    You can design it yourself
If you plan on doing it yourself you will likely need something like Canva, PhotoShop, or Illustrator to make your creation come to life.  There is a bit of a learning curve for these types of software, but you can get something very well designed if you just take your time.  Most of the people you're paying a lucrative amount of money to design a logo will use these pieces of software, and you can to without breaking the bank, so maybe you just need to study what needs to go into your logo design and get started.  If that doesn't work, you can always move onto the next part of this discussion which is covering automated systems 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time

    You can use automated systems
There are various websites out there that have basic text generators and templates for you to use, but some of them are a little limited because they only have so many designs for you to access.  A lot of beginner webmasters will use automated systems in order to get their logos designed and they will quickly realize these images tend to be generic.  You can't really complain about them since the majority of these systems are free, so if you have something negative to say about them, you need to think of hiring a freelancer to get the job done.

    You can hire a freelancer
Over the years I've been getting logos made for my websites by hiring freelancers.  I like a certain freelancer that goes by the name Sajeewa because he's extremely affordable, very good at what he does, and is quick with his designs so I know I will have my logo in a day or two 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time

I've gone through dozens of freelance logo designers in the past few years and I've never been disappointed by Sajeewa, so if you're in the market for a new logo I highly suggest you check him out.  If you're used to paying $750+ for a logo, you're going to buy all of his add-ons and pay much less while getting the absolute best logo designed for your website 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time

    In conclusion
Logo design isn't always the easiest thing to do if you plan on making it yourself, so take your time if you're going to build it yourself.  If you want to use an automated system, be aware that many people out there might have something just like yours and it will likely be generic.  If you really want something done in a professional manner, and you don't want to break the bank, hire a freelancer here on Seocheckout to get the job done and you will be happy you did 3 tips to get the best logo for your business in a short amount of time

Thanks for the tip! In my college days, we have a multimedia subject where we are asked to make our own logo of our department. Believe me, it's really hard to make on scratch especially if it's your first time. I usually list some of the words that best describes the logo that I will be doing. Then I draw some random figures on a sheet of paper. I also check in social media or Youtube how to design a logo, what's the best software to use, etc. You should also consider the right color that can match in your logo design and what should be good in the eye. I believe that you need experience to do better in the field.

Personally, my sister and I decided to design it for ourselves. Of course, we had to use PhotoShop, and through social media we asked our followers for some help. It took quite some effort and time, but eventually we were very proud of ourselves, and thankful to our clients. However, if you don't have any knowledge to use PhotoShop or any other similar program, or if you don't feel ready to invest a lot of time on it, then you should hire someone that helps you out with it. A good logo for your business is a very important part, and you don't want to mess it up.

Logo will become part of your business and this is what the people will always remember. And you're right, you should not mess up on this because it's really hard to change the logo once the consumers already recognized it.

That's correct. Once you have marked your business with your logo, it is really hard to make your clients recognize it. My uncle runs a family business, and it has showed the same basic logo since the 80's, so his boys tried to give a fresh and modern face to the business, and put a new logo image on top, and clients believed they have closed the business, and avoided to stop by. Crazy right?

LOL, That's how powerful the logo in advertising the business. And I think it will costs a lot if you will change the business logo, you have to advertise it again about the new logo so the people will not be confuse, and sometimes its not really good, people might say something bad about the new design.

It was really surreal and crazy, but you know, changing advertising can bring unexpected results, and that was one of them. And yes, it also requires a lot of money and effort, because is like beginning again, and trying to put your new image on everybody's mind, starting from zero. Messy indeed.

I know how to use Photoshop because I once was assigned to a project that involves images. But I have to admit that my aptitude in arts is very low particularly with visual arts that I couldn’t even design a good logo. Maybe there are people who are creative and artistic and there are those who know how to admire such good visual art creations. Count me in as an admirer.

For a quick turnout, you can also try logo designing premium programs. You can get your logo for $75 or something within minutes. However, there is a drawback of using such service as you are building logo from existing templates which are also used by so many people. Therefore, you are not generating an entirely unique logo. A better option is to buy logo templates and then use programs like photoshop to create unique logos.

If you look in Fiverr, you can find sellers delivering logo within 24 hours. However, if you want the turnout time to be even less, you can try premium logo designing tools. You can generate your own logo within a couple of minutes, however, these programs are expensive. The best alternative is using a free tool like canva and using premium template to create logo

Have you checked pixelclerks, or even Seocheckout marketplace? There are sellers who are selling logo designing service just for $3. I don't know the quality of their logos because I have never bought $3 logo designing service. However, they might be a good option if you want a logo for a small price.
By the way, you can also do it yourself on the programs like Adobe Spark or Canva.

Aside from the logo, people will also remember the slogan of the business. There's a website that willing to pay for doing some logo and slogan for the company. Yeah, it's hard to do that, but you will get the idea about the logo based on their product and name of the company and simple research to get the idea.

Some of them using funny slogan specially the fast food to attract the kids. The simple Just do it from NIKE I think is one of most popular slogan. Logo and slogan makes the brand become recognizable and easy to remember. We should better to start to this if we planing to have our own business and product.

Here in my country, companies has a unique and funny slogan from banks, fast foods, clothing lines and etc. People remember it easier especially if the slogan than they have is part of the company's song. It is easy to recognize. There has one slogan that I always singing. It is a slogan of one of the biggest grocery chain here in the Philippines. It is like,"At SM,we have got it all for you" sounds nice .

Sometimes all a company or business needs is an attractive logo that resonates it's name. Let's face it logos can make a business more attractive and the more people a business attracts means more success and profit. If you have ideas for a good logo then there's a lot of online sites you can use to create it. But if you really don't know how to make one then it's best to get the services of a professional Logo Maker.

A logo seems just a small thing to do but creating a good design that will represent your business or company is really difficult. It's probably best to hire someone to create a logo for your business if you could not create a good design for yourself. There are great designers that could craft a logo based on the nature of your business, mission, and vision.

There is no way of getting to be a graphic designer without being creative and artistic in your mind and heart because it's the only way you can seat down and visualize what you want to design and then move to put the creation you had in your mind into a physical reality. This is basically how any design work is conceived and carried out.

Even though I also use programs like Canva and Photoshop, I also buy logos sometimes. I have never paid mor than $25 for a logo (which also included working file). Unless you want to squander your money, there is no need to pay $150, even $75 for a logo. ON the sites like Fiverr, you can get a logo for just $10. The sellers selling logos for $10 are mostly from the developing work or newbie. If you pay $10 for a logo from someone from Nepal, the seller will earn 500 ruppes in his home country. This amount can buy him a lunch for two in his home country. For an American, $10 is nothing, but for a Nepali it is a big money

You got the point. A logo doesn't have to be expensive since a great logo can be achieved by creating on your own or by hiring a freelancer. Having a logo is very essential in a business. It should represent what your business is all about. Logo distinguishes you from your competitors and people will easily remember your business by having a remarkable logo. That is why investing your time in creating a logo should be part of your strategy in promoting your business.

If you have the skill and expertise of a graphic designer, then there is no need to worry about getting somebody or another freelance designer to do your website and logo design work for you. It would be a very silly thing to do with paying for what you can actually do very well. I don't have the skill to design a website or logo from the scratch, so I'm left with either paying for it or using free resources to do it.

When you are still new to webmaster job, starting up with free logo design features isn't a bad idea, at least it would give you the opportunity to master the job well without having to spend too much on designing your site and logo as well until you are ready to take it to the next level. At the moment, I have had my time with free logo features and I have moved up to paid services when I require a better design.

Yup, these days the free offerings for many design platforms are actually quite comprehensive, so you don't always have to go down the paid route at all! Since for a lot of my work I have to do layouts for brochures and other marketing materials, it's worthwhile having the paid version - but I do think that free is also fantastic.

I personally used a logo generator online for my thesis work. I just didn't have the time to make out and conceptualize one myself. Though it looks very generic and I got what I paid for which is nothing. Online work sites like Fiverr offer >$10 logo designs. Only the individual artists out there offer the more expensive rates but I think you get what you pay for.

It's a different story for me when it comes to freelancers. Sometimes you're paying more for the creativity rather than the finished product itself. I personally would not recommend those tools that create a logo for you. There are many mobile apps that will help you create a logo however there is many people probably with the same logo. If not the same perhaps there is another variation. This is where creativity and originality come into play. You do not want a logo that already resembles another businesses logo. People would view that as foul play, and customers won't take your business seriously.

I do agree with you, if you want to save money make the logo by yourself but it will surely consume a lot of time to be just done and also there is also a possibility that the one that you have been made has similarity with the other logos that have been also used or will be used. Thinking concept isn't easy because the logo will portray your company. My opinion is the same as yours hire a freelancer to do the job, canvass first to find the affordable price. Yes it is costful but it will later pay yoi back just don't rush things up.

Logo is very important in every products or Business One is doing or plans to do. It enables people or potential customers to easily identify your products or services. It is however very important to be careful and creative when selecting or designing a logo. It should depict your line of business and it should not entails any devilish signs especially in an environment where people are sensitive to symbols.

It is also advisable to stick to one type of logo especially if your business is product oriented cos you will surely be dealing with both literate and illetrates that most times identify products by their logo. logo is to an extent the second name to your business name, this make it necessary for one to be calm and creative while designing your business logo cos it last forever.

But with hard work and strong determination it might be possible especially with the help of other people that have a broad knowledge about making a logo for your company.

Logos are really important because they represent the company and we need to be very meticulous about them because they can say so much or no impact at all. Thanks for letting us know about these three options depending on our desired result. Personally, I don't want a logo that will appear generic, so if I were to choose, I'll try to learn about it or have it done by a pro.

It's fun to play around with, and I've been using it for a few months and found my skills have been increasing rapidly. I highly recommend it for a beginner, because it's easy to use but doesn't produce amateur looking graphics!

A logo is crucial for the success of your business. Just think about the famous brands... they all have a logo that stands out, represents them and most importantly, is "imprinted" in people's head - you remember it!

Sadly, many people don't realize this and think that paying somebody talented to design one is a waste of money.

I usually design the logos myself since I've been doing it for years.

If you are not satisfied with your piece, then there are a lot of inspiring creations in the internet that you can apply to your work. Though I'm not saying that you will completely copy someone's work, but what I'm trying to say is you can get some ideas out of those creations. And I agree that there are a lot of software now a days that can really help you create a wonderful design for your logo. Just take a time and effort for it, and if you are really interested with it then it will eventually turn out good.

For that, maybe they could still ask for some help to their relatives or siblings instead, who are good at designing. At least in that way, he/she could save money instead of hiring a professional logo maker/artist. Based on my experience, when I need a logo or any thing that requires art digitally, I have a little brother who is artistically talented therefore I can just easily ask for some help from him. If you don’t have any design or artistic experience, I probably wouldn’t recommend trying to design it yourself. I have a background in graphic design, and I mention that because I have experience in logo design and know what makes logos work. I’ve seen too many businesses where the owners designed the logos themselves rather than having a professional do it, and you can honestly tell pretty much 99% of the time.

Real graphic designers can give logos the kind of polish that the average person just wouldn’t think about. And don’t even get me started on automated systems.

The best option is definitely to go with a freelancer, especially with how affordable they are these days thanks to services like Fiverr—well that and a market that’s so oversaturated that the average graphic designer would probably make you a logo for the cost of a ham sandwich.

Even if you are a hobbyist designer, it is better to hire someone to do your logos. I use photoshop, I have also tried free programs like canva, yet, when I want a logo I always hire a professional designer. I have sold a couple of logos myself, however, I hire freelancers when ever I need logo. If you are multitasking and are a writer, graphic designer, web designer, seo expert, social media markers, in short all in one, it is very likely that you are not doing your jobs properly.

“…it is very likely that you are not doing your jobs properly.”

This is a really valid and potent point you make. There is a reason why the saying goes, “Jack of all trades, master of none.”

They say it takes around 10,000 hours of experience in a field in order to be considered a master at it. This means it would take at least around three and a half years of practice, eight hours a day, every single day, in order to master a skill.

Most people don’t have that time for even one skill, let alone multiple ones.

Well sure! I suppose I could give you my Top 3 tips for logo design. It’s basically just stuff that I both learned in college and also figured out on my own.

    1. Brainstorm. Rather than anchoring yourself to one or two ideas you deem to be “good,” throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks. Write down everything possible that could be associated with your product/brand and see what combinations you can make out of those characteristics.

    2. Thumbnail. Don’t try to put ideas together in your mind alone. Take a piece of paper (or Photoshop file), create a grid of small boxes, and fill each box with a logo idea, no matter how dumb it might seem. You’d be surprised where inspiration can strike.

    3. Familiarize yourself with basic pictography. Pictographs are ideograms which convey a specific meaning or message by resembling a physical object, e.g the men’s/women’s bathroom symbols or “no smoking” signs. They’re essentially the proto form of corporate logos and a lot of fundamental principles of logo design can be learned from them.

I think a logo's "instant recognition" isn't really determined by the design of the logo itself but the "image" of the company it represents. The car manufacturer's logo for example you can spot from a distance and still identify who that company is. Why? Because you've heard of the name and it's reputation. Is a logo important for a business? Yes but not that important. The image is.

Hiring a freelancer to do the design for me is the best move. Especially if the freelancer is well versed with the logo design then he can also tell me if my intended design if attractive or not. However, I know that artistic services cost a lot and can make a dent in the finances.

I think logo design using photoshop or the Serif designer is lot easier and better compared to Canva. I know some of the people also make use of the canva. But the issue with that is you don't get better tools for the logo. And on that note I don't think some tools that are meant for online design are good. I prefer to use photoshop for the same reason. I cannot remember which one exactly, but I used something called something like "logo creator" on Google Play and liked the result. However, my next step will be to use "lunapic" to improve the logo. I am addicted to that online place and keep making weird works of art with my photos.

Then I will ask the two professional artists in my family what they think, seeing both are too busy to do favors for family. I like what I see, but any professional help is welcome.

I like the challenge of working on my own design, but do not have the artistic skills they do to start from scratch.

Both can do logos. In defence of the artists who also have to make a living:

If you can use a simple, basic logo designer you can do quite a lot for free online. However, as with self- publishing, where those in publishing can spot a self-published book a mile off, I suspect a professional could probably tell whether the logo is professionally done. That is the disadvantage to "make your own." I am sure there are lots of things we amateurs don't know about. That said, if I see a logo, I either like it or not and most of the general public would not have a clue if the logo was professionally done or not.

I would suggest to make the logo design similar to the business that you had, like for example if you have a travel business, then put some logo of an airplane on it, so the people can easily know that once they saw that logo they will say it's your business so they will have an idea.

Giving your business a logo resembles giving your business its personality. Thus, it turns out to be exceptionally vital to get your logo planned by an expert. A professionally planned logo will delineate your organization and its jobs and will help in interfacing your business to its potential clients. Free logo instruments and different layouts will never give you wanted outcome regardless of whether they appear to give. This devices are utilized by numerous and won't produce remarkable logos for you.
