Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

It doesn't matter what type of response platform we're talking about there, you could be using email, a chat system, facebook chat, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, etc. if you have a slow response time you will almost always be less successful than your competitors who are responding within minutes.  When I'm setting up a new website I will give the visitor multiple ways to contact me, not just an email form, in order to increase the chances of me capturing a sale.  The more option you give someone in order to contact you, the more likely you will have their preferred method of contact, which means they will usually try and get a hold of you.  Now, if you don't respond quickly to their preferred method, you won't catch as many clients as you could be, and that's never a good thing!

You need to be on top of things when it comes to responding, so you'll need to be notified via mobile phone which isn't that difficult, and you will be happy you're now getting 10+ notifications a day that you weren't getting yesterday Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

In this discussion, I'll be going over a few things you need to focus on when it comes to responding quickly, and they are:

People have short attention spans
People might forget they contacted you when you eventually get back to them, and that means they will likely avoid responding to you because it seems like spam.  It doesn't matter if you have the Re: in front of the email or if you even have their question added to your response, they will likely avoid the response and move on.

Now, if you're responding as soon as possible, within a few minutes, the potential client will still be interested and ready to open up their wallets to make an order on your website Having a quick response time will always boost your sales  This is why getting mobile notifications is key to responding asap in order to boost your sales Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

You're not the only company a person is contacting
Think about it, do you contact one web designer or SEO service and wait for them to respond before you move on to the second or third service you have interest in?  No, you contact them all and wait for them to respond, and you usually go with one of the first that do respond because it shows they're on top of their profession and ready to work for you.

I actually contacted a writer here on Seocheckout to see if they would be interested in working on some content for a few of my own websites because I already have a packed schedule.  They never responded and lost a steady paycheck from me.  I even messaged them 5 additional times and still never got a response lol Having a quick response time will always boost your sales  Their loss, right?

Respond quick and close more sales Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

Early bird, or the quickest one, gets the worm
When someone responds to me right away I see them more as a professional and better than the lot I contacted.  Sure, the timezones may be a little off and people may be in bed, but I give them the benefit of the doubt and usually wait 24 hours to see who responds.

After that 24-hour time slot, I will start responding to everyone and see what we can do together.  After that 24 hours, I tend to ignore the people who are responding for the first time because if they can't respond to me asap then why would they take my job seriously?

Be quick but professional at the same time
Someone who is quick to respond isn't always the person someone will choose to do a service.  If you're professional as well as very responsive, you will boost your client acquisition tenfold and eventually be able to hire a VA to do all of your responses within minutes of getting contacted Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

People want to work with professionals, so if you answer all the questions coming at you in record time as well as stay professional and friendly at the same time, you'll get more clients than anyone else they're contacting right before or after you Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

In conclusion
A quick response time will ALWAYS increase your sales because people are impatient and don't want to wait for someone over the weekend to respond before they make their decision.  I wait 24 hours, which is long in terms of finding someone that is extremely responsive, and not many people will do that if they're looking for a freelancer or professional service from a company.  Get mobile notifications and respond as quickly as you can in order to boost your sales Having a quick response time will always boost your sales

Definitely. A quicker response time will definitely help you out with the sales for your products because of the fact that your customers will feel that it is safe to buy from you and that if they do have any problems, they can easily get help from you quickly. It can also help retain customers because if they are happy with the customer service that they receive from you, then they are much more likely to come back and purchase from you.

I am planning to have my own website for my affiliate marketing early next year. But I am apprehensive about the handling of the site that I am only a part time freelancer which means the site will more often be alone. What if there are inquiries on the business, no one would be answering the phone, so to speak. Maybe I need a virtual assistant or a business partner who can help in that department for the customer support.

Replying quickly is very important especially online as customers become more impatient because of how instant everything is now with the way the internet works. It also shows customers that you care and provide quick service and they tend to rely on you more compared to others who take time in responding.

This is really important and something I try and put into practice for my own work. I always feel more reassured when I deal with companies that respond quickly - it gives me faith that they know what they're doing and that they're receptive to customer needs. If a company takes a long time to respond to a query or concern, it's likely that I won't do business with them or I'll avoid any repeat business in the future.

Having a good support system on the site is one of the best ways that a site owner or an online marketer can convince the general public that he/she always available to attend to their needs at anytime of the day. One good thing about being able to sort things out is that you get to have more followers and clients in the sense that they have confidence that everything is always under control.

I certainly agree that quick response is very much important to help to increase your income. If you don't respond immediately they might change their mind and look for another alternative. Once clients inquire about your business or services bear in mind not to be so pushy about what you can offer they might get turn off and lose interest just try to keep it cool all the time.

Great point. It's important to be reachable, but not be pushy, which could definitely turn someone off from your services. I find that as long as I'm answering their questions and giving them the information they need, clients are more than capable of making up their mind on their own.

I think responding quickly shows that you're engaged in the conversation, you care about the client's needs, and that you're dedicated to getting the job done for them. I do a lot of offline freelancing, and I connect with my clients via a website where other professionals along with myself quote on the jobs. If there's potential competition, you need to do everything you can to put yourself ahead of them, and responding quickly and efficiently can be a great way to do just that.

Client's satisfaction doesn't end when the job was done and that is the reason I feel that having an active support crew is one of the best ways to show the customer that you are always there for them. This will even make more clients want to do business with yo since they believe you are someone that can be reached across when needed.

In my websites sometimes it takes an hour after I send my response because I have a full time job everyday and I only insert my online jobs in my vacant time to earn some extra money. I really do believe that having a quick response can boost your sales, because some customers is upset while waiting on your response and if you will make it in long time they will decide to find another source.

That is the essence of customer service to serve people by addressing their concerns by offering solutions or help in the soonest possible time.

Being able to do this quickly and effectively would really be something positive for your site. No one likes a site that takes forever to answer queries, or solve problems. A site like that would have a bad reputation and that would mean less traffic.

I agree with you. When I am at online shopping site, I get irritated when the chatonline or comments are not answered, especially when I needed the answer promptly.

I think a company should check their messages at least once a day, and if not, every other day. I mean, that's just standard professionalism. Anyway, though, there is an option of hiring a secretary (something similar). That might be what they have to do!

I have not bought any gigs on Seocheckout. My only attempt of buying gigs turned sour. I ordered a social media service and clearly mentioned that I will nt accept fake profiles. sadly, the seller sent me fake followers. I had to cancel the gig. I had chosen the seller based on the rating and response time. I think many people are just like me when they hire a seller, they will choose a seller based on response time and reviews and recommendations. I am a seller here. When I receive order I always try to reply immediately. I have enabled a notification system and when ever someone buys my gigs I will receive emails. I try to reply the messages within the order thread as quickly as possible.

Last week when our internet was down, we resorted to the call center of our internet provider. It took them 4 days to replace the problematic modem. That’s a pretty long time because the internet is now very important in the lives of people. Can you imagine being off line for more than 3 days straight? What about your freelancing, it will surely suffer. That’s one example of a bad service. And if only we have an alternative then we would shift our allegiance to a new internet service provider.

The flip side is that having to quick of a response time can ruin your life. Unless it is urgent I routinely wait 24 hours (weekdays) to respond. The reasons for this are
* Always being poised to immediately respond means you carry stress and have trouble immersing yourself in other business or private activities. This situation becomes more intense as people come to expect an immediate response and get angry about the slightest delay.
* New information can come in that allows you to get a better understanding of the situation, and quite often the situation self-corrects within this time span.
* It avoids any temptation to make an emotional or frustrated response and unnecessarily exacerbate a situation.

Lot of clients and customers are always in a rush so sellers need to be responsive to every questions. Many of clients and customers wants to have many options. They wanted to make sure that the money that they will spend is worth it. So they want a immediate response from the sellers. Sometimes, buyers look at the attitude of the sellers, on how they respond.

Having a quick response time will always boost your sales: In every business, it is really matters. But it takes time in every businessman to make a quick response, because they think it so many times before making such response, because the business lies within their making decision/response.
