One thing that I can suggest is to create discussions where freelancers can participate. I guess that is very important, because it is hard to post something that we are not really confident or comfortable discussing. Another is that, I think you should give incentives or bonus to your members. This would encourage them to post more and they might even invite some of their peers to join.

I agree that creating a discussion will give notice to freelancers so they can participate and somehow boost the traffic to your posts. I understand that sometimes you feel that you are being ignored and you feel desperate. But don’t despair because the longer you stay in this site, the more notice you will get from the freelancers. And for the meantime, interact with the other posts for that will also add notice to your services.

You're right. The incentives, bonus, or rewarded system will give a lot of engagement to the site, and I'm sure a lot of freelancers will participate to the discussion, and will encourages the others to join also,

I like that idea. People like to have the feeling they are contributing to something, and if you ask for their help and their interaction it may help you overall to understand what they like, and don't like about your writing style.

This really is such a great idea! This is, obviously, exactly how forums, such as this one that we are posting on, work. Giving incentives to posters who continue to further what you are doing at your site always engages a return in content and comments, and maybe even possible guest bloggers and reviewers! i also think that this process generates referrals to other freelancers and bloggers who would lie to come and comment upon and participate in a community geared towards their niche.

I believe if you really wanted to have more viewers you need to to advertise it. Advertising will cost you something. In Facebook if you really want the page you have created to have many viewers and followers, you really have to boost it. In boosting there a lot of choices.

The higher you pay the better that they will advertise your page. I have a page in Facebook in my account that was created by friend. Because its free it has only reached more than 100 followers. But if you have money to pay you can boost your page. The same applies I think with what you are asking.

What services are you looking to offer people? It would go a long way in determining the kind of target market that you are looking for. When you discover that, then you can know how to channel your marketing strategy to get exactly what you desire. For your posts on seocheckout? If that you need to provide useful content for your posts so it will attract more people come to read and sharing your posts to others. Even if your posts are quality then they can revisit it to read content more times.

Have you tried bumping your services?

Doing so will push your services to the top of the category page for a while. Until, that is, someone else bumps their services above you. However, if you do that daily, more people will see your services.

You’ll find the “bump” option at the bottom of each service when you go into [Seller] / [Manage} / [My Services] from the main menu.

The bump feature is a nice feature, however I would not just rely on the bump feature, here's why:

People are constantly bumping their services. You can bump at the maximum 5 per 24 hours, so if everyone (and basically everyone is) bumping their services then your position in the top could only last a couple of minutes before it's bumped to the 2nd page and so forth. So I would bump my services, but I would do this as another means of promotion other than relying on bumps for sales.

A lot of sellers here rely on the traffic of the marketplace, and bumps and then wonder why they are not getting sales. Yes, some sellers are very successful with just the traffic on the marketplace but others have to actually do some work to get their services known. So I would definitely do off-site promotion along with other marketing strategies you could do here.

Usually you will need to do off-site marketing and advertising. I usually sometimes create a landing page for my services or products, and use Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns basically from Social Media platforms like Facebook. I do no recommend Google Adwords due to the bid amount for keywords. Facebook is sometimes extremely high in advertising too. For instance, on my Facebook page whenever I create a new post, it says something like "receive 10 clicks for $4.00" or something. That is very high, that's about $2.20 per click. Usually you want your campaigns at most like $2.10, and the least about $2.02 to really get a successful campaign.

Another method is to do SEO for your services. Make sure your service title and the service description contains your 'money keywords'. Basically this means you should have your target keywords in both the title and description. Also, do not go too overboard with keywords either, just make sure to target the exact keyword. No real need to add many keywords as your service will not rank to it's full potential.

Try these 2 out, and see how it goes.

For traffic conversion, you need to pull traffic from the people who are genuinely interested in buying the services that you are offering. Type of services you are offering also affect the sales. You need to offer high quality service in cheap rate to bring more sales.

What services do you offer? I think you should try to advertise in some PPC or pay per click sites. And create something debatable or some creative discussion so the consumer or customers will keep coming back, give some reward or points something, that can convertible any kind of items, like GC or gift cert.

You have to attract buyers. And you have to make them buy or click on the links. Spam does not work. Telling people all the time buy this and that does not work. And so you have to work around different ways. And find out if you can get the users to like your posts. And this means you have to work on other ways to get them to your site and like the content. People buy from those who are making it easy for them to learn and educate.

Don't focus more on the result. Focus on the foundation of your business first. Create a community for your niche , focus on the purpose or the things that your product can bring to improve everyone's life first. The rule is simple and that is to keep writing. It is by writing that we get to let others know what we do and when you write, ensure you take your time to read and edit the errors that we might see on it. The thing about doing that is that you will get to that point where many of the clients will give you job without being tested that much because the posts that you've been writing has made you popular.

Think of a topic that is relevant today, of good quality, truthful and factual. It should relate your viewers so that they can comment to your post and have more people to interact and share their thoughts to generate traffic. You can also promote it through online sites like YouTube. Lots of people use online videos to promote their sites by sharing their links in the description below of their videos, which I think is really effective. You just have to click on the link and voila, you can let them see your post. You are lucky if you caught their interest and stay in your site.

The primary goal of getting more traffic is to get more people to pay for your service. This needs you to market your services extensively both on the site and elsewhere too. Post more content on the boards and more people may be interested in taking a look at your profile. That is how many "guests" will notice that you are selling a service.

You could also use social media to draw in prospective clients.

I like the last part because it seems to me that social media is the most fertile place for marketing your business interest. The best thing in social media is that it is free and easy.
