Use SEO for your website and rankings, but don't solely rely on it for sales

When it comes to getting targeted traffic and making a sale online, everyone always goes to SEO as the all in one thing that is needed to be successful. But what happens if Google decides to get rid of your website from the search results for a few months because there's a glitch in the system, you got a penalty or some unknown reason? A lot of companies go bankrupt when they all of a sudden lose 90% of their search engine traffic due to something that was not predictable.

Don't be one of those people who comes to a forum or website begging for work because you did something wrong and now your website tanked resulting in your traffic diminishing to a slow trickle and now your sales are dead. Do something about it and be prepared for all outcomes that could possibly come your way.

Diversify Your Portfolio
When it comes to diversity, I'm not just talking about your backlink profile. You need to get different websites up and running in order to generate multiple revenue streams. If all of your websites are in the same niche and the niche gets nuked, you're done for a while and I hope you saved up all of your money. Right now I have around 20 different websites up and running in roughly 12 to 15 niches and I run different SEO campaigns on every single one of them just in case the main method becomes obsolete or I get a penalty because of it.

Setting up a bunch of websites will take time if you do it right, so don't get discouraged when it takes 3 months to get a sale on one of your sites. Setting up a website isn't easy, even for the most experienced webmaster. Sure you can get it up and running in a day, but you will be tweaking images, code, pages, etc. for months to come. And don't get me started on content generation and SEO for the new websites because it will take years of work to have everything generating sales lol.

PPC and Banners
When you're running a website you won't want to rely solely on traffic from the search engines because it could be gone tomorrow. Although the traffic is super targeted and amazing, you'll need to open up your traffic streams to make enough money in order to snowball your profits and push yourself to even higher goals.

PPC - Set up campaigns that work. This will take time and split testing but it's not too difficult to set up. What you'll need to do is have multiple different campaigns for each website and each campaign needs to have different ad sets. I usually go with 10 different ads per campaign so I have a better chance of being successful. Think of it as throwing out a large net to figure out what you can catch, and what you're catching are the killer ads lol. After a few weeks you can whittle down the ads to maybe 2 or 3 and if it's difficult to determine the best one, just run all 3 Use SEO for your website and rankings, but don

Banners - When it comes to banner advertising you will want to get super specific as to where you're posting them. Usually you can get an idea of how much traffic a website is getting by watching the activity of the blog or forum they have. This is of course if the website doesn't have it's traffic statistics openly displayed for all the potential advertisers to see and decide if they want to buy a placement. A decent place to go, but can be expensive, is buysellads.com because they have plenty of websites offering advertising spots on their websites. You'll have to assess the best placements for your website and see which is best for you. I've purchase $40 ads on there that perform better than $550 ads, so it's sort of hit or miss when it comes to banner advertising, but there are some nice gems out there Use SEO for your website and rankings, but don

In Conclusion:
You need to get out there and get your ad or banners in front of people who want what you have. Whether it be a service or physical product, get it in front of them in different ways so that you're not only relying on search engine traffic.

I think SEO does not always helps. Because most of the time people prefer to see the ads and then they get discovered. Also if they site does not have good goals. Then it can be harder to even rely on the SEO. Most people these days have some goals which are measurable. Like things of acquiring the users, leads and also likes or share. So this all in all going to generate some sales. That's what makes some good money.

This topic is a very good advice for business people who are enamored on SEO alone. I understand the logic of relying on SEO because most of the walk in clients are brought about by the search engine list. However, it is still better to have a marketing campaign for your business in order to get sales. Whether you do your marketing in social media or offline marketing with tarpaulins and flyers, it’s up to you. As long as the marketing method is effective, just continue what you are doing.
