How do you get a Wikipedia Page about your Website?

The large sites all have a Wikipedia page about them. At what point does your page qualify to have a wikipedia page about it though? I've added mine which are under 20,000 Alexa and they all get deleted. Do you have to have a mega site under 1,000 Alexa to get a page or something?

I think it is due to "Notability" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:N but I do not know of the number needed to get your site at Wikipedia

I have never submitted my website or anything on wikipedia, I have not even tried to edit wilipedia content, therefore, until now I have not faced deletion on wikipedia. I have never thought about having my website entered on wikipedia, however, I always have had this thought to be covered on wilipedia. I have been writing on newspapers since 2001 and started writing online since 2010. I also have published three books. I guess I qualify for a wilipedia page.
I believe it is the company that gets featured on wilipedia not the website. For example, facebook is on wiklipedia and it is not about facebook.com but about Facebook Inc.

Did you know that anyone can edit the information on Wikipedia. I was told this few years ago but I don't know if people benefit when they alter or correct the information on Wikipedia.

I think it is easy to have a Wikipedia page. I have never heard of any requirements.

I came here to get some information on how to go about it,I think we need to do more information about getting our site on Wikipedia, it a great way to get one's blog noticed on Google search engine.I have always known that information on Wikipedia can be edited but never know about deletion.Will research more about this.

Wikipedia is not a place to write about you or your friends. It is an information site created by users. You can of course have a wikipedia page about your website, however, in order to justify this your website must be very popular as ranked high on search engines.

From what I have read about Wikipedia entries you can create your own Wikipedia page but it will pass the screening committee. You can also make some changes to an existing Wikipedia page but again it will be checked at random. I think the approved pages in Wikipedia are more for the information and not for the promotion. That means your page should contain something interesting and not just the history of your company.
