About the Highlight feature? Do you think it is worth buying?

Concerning this feature called the highlight feature where your service or gig gets to be painted with light cream or yellow color to enhance visibility among other gigs,.I am planning of purchasing the feature so that my gig will be painted among other gigs when i bump it but i am very skeptical so to whether it is going to increase traffic visitors to my gig and hence get orders for me.
My reason is because
[1]. i feel that the yellow/cream painting is too light and may not be very very visible for the all the traffic visitors to view it if its on front page.
[2]. Most times, the gig wont be always on front page at all times even if you bump it which only make it stays for some little time before it becomes invisible on front-page.
what do you think about the highlight light yellow painting feature?,....if it were you, do you think you can purchase it for your gig? Also has it worked for you if you have purchased it before?.

I'll be honest here my thoughts were quite the same. I have chosen not to go for it but I am not really focusing on being a seller here, but I thought maybe if I did a paid a bump or highlight then it might bring in enough orders to make being a seller worthwhile.

I also asked the members here about it and the thing is that it all depends on the type or service, how much competition you have, how appealing your service is etc....

If you do go for it I would love some feedback from you!

I do not think it makes a huge difference to be honest. It all depends on the people who log in at the time, their real interest to buy that kind of service, how many other services are highlighted too at the time, and of course, ultimately there are also things specific to your service. Such as, is your price competitive, and are you offering something that is being offered by dozens of other sellers? There are so many factors that come into play that ultimately I would rather just bump for free, and hope for the best.

Good you are seeing it from my angle. i also thought as much too. though it may help, but it will be very little compared to other features like paid bumps, category feature etc. the ultimate generally is how much you are offering your service gig followed by how unique your gig is. if it is costly compared to others, low or no sales will be recorded.

I've tried the paid bumps features and it really works! For example, if I bumped 5 of my services everyday chances of getting new orders were slim, like maybe 1-2 orders per day using the free bumps.

With the paid bumps I would get 3-4 orders or even more because paid bumps also bump themselves after 12 hours, so it doubles you chances of getting new orders. The yellow line will make you services stand out, because often I would find my services surrounded by similar services offering the same deals at better prices, but the yellow line made all the difference in me getting those orders and not my competitors.

thank you very much for your response. truly paid bumps works perfectly for i have also tried it but what i am just peculiar is the highlight feature. but that yellow feature can surely work out guaranteed if you offer a competitively average or low price as compared to others. if your price is very high, you may not really get any sale despite your service gig being ''yellowed''.
