Wisdom tooth popping up

I have two of my wisdom teeth out but the other two are not. One seems to be popping through and hurts. Feels like sinus pressure and pain. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

I had all four of mine taken out at the same time. I went through day surgery and was put under to have them removed. Fortunately because of that, I by passed this stage, however it was painful while I healed.

I have had two out and it was not an issue for me. My other two just pop up from time to time.

I'm not looking forward to the dental surgery process. I am not insured so it will be very costly to undergo this process. Best of luck with your teeth, I hope you are able to have this issue resolved soon so you are not in pain long.

I'm so afraid of being under anesthesia like that. Is there a risk to health or life by doing so? Then again, I'm sure there was no choice but to be put under.

As with any surgical procedure, there are risks. They are very low percentages Wisdom tooth popping up It's better to just get it done, then go through unnecessary pain. Trust me Wisdom tooth popping up

This is so true. When it's very cold, sometimes my teeth hurt (if I don't wear socks) and then the pain is all I can think about.

Yeah I have gone through that and it was hell of a pain I was unable to eat , sleep and talk . These wisdom teeth hurts time to time and takes a long time to grow out fully , I am still getting pain after 2 or 3 month interval usually when I eat beef or chewing gum it starts .

Thanks, teeth are not cheap. I have dental insurance and it was still expensive when I got 2 of them out.

What can you do to ease the pain of wisdom teeth until you can get to a dentist? I would like to know.

Keep in mind there is no treatment that will take the pain away, until the tooth/teeth are gone...lol
As a temporary band-aid, I would use ice packs to the affected side, and an anti inflammatory like Advil or Ibuprofen. You will need to make an appointment with your Dentist ASAP because this will not eliminate the problem.

This thread reminds me of my first wisdom tooth. I had a hectic day so when I developed a fever, I thought all along that it was becuse of fatigue and tension at work. I only learned of the growing wisdom tooth when I felt pain in the edge of my gum. When I told my mother, she instantly suspected that it is the birth of a wisdom tooth. And she was right because after a few days, the pain subsided and I noticed something hard in gum. Hello there, wisdom tooth.
