    What's the worst hosting company?

    So far, the worst web hosting company that I've used for forum hosting is GoDaddy. When I hosted my forum with GoDaddy, we had a dispute and they blocked me from downloading my databases when I wanted to move the forum to another host company. So basically, I lost over 1000 posts and had to start my forum from scratch.

    The only really bad experience that I ever had was with my current hosting company. For the most part, it's been a positive experience. Except awhile back, they botched up my billing and refused to accept payment of $4.00 (which was in my account, btw) and then cut off my hosting, which shut down my forum for almost a week. I made numerous appeals and tried repeatedly to pay the $4.00 owed, but their payment page refused to accept payment. Eventually, I was able to appeal to one of their support representatives to go into my account and manually apply the money that I owed. Afterward, my hosting was restored. I'm still feeling burned over the situation. If I knew how to move my forum databases to another host company without losing anything, I would probably do so in a heartbeat. :/

    I want to use a bad word describing the guy that removed, on his own, with no authority from me, my complete site, I guess I'm not over it yet. The first host I ever used, was, to be quite frank, kind of a noob. Especially since so many people seem to start their own hosting company, reselling hosting, and offering no or low quality support.
