    Do you ever feel as if you're wasting your time on Youtbe?

    My biggest waste of time on Youtube is searching for music videos. I don't really like the Youtube search interface as it rarely provides me with the search results I want. What do you feel your biggest waste of time on Youtube is?

    Searching for niche videos that are authoritative and not promotional. This is a huge waste of time for me as most of the videos I find in my niche are just promotions for someone's site.

    Unlike Facebook where you have multiple activities you can engage in, including games, chat, commenting, liking etc, Youtube is very single minded. In other words, when you get on Youtube, you are likely to be looking for a specific video or want to upload videos. In that way, it's very unlikely you will waste time there unless you are just unsure of what you want to listen to at that time.

    I know of some people that I can call Youtube addict. Theyspend about 4 hours in a day just watching videos on Youtube. Most of them are
    music lovers but some are after recipes and DIY videos. I only access Youtube
    for personal videos uploaded by people I know. When they tag me in Facebook
    about their latest video, I check on it but I would only watch the entirety of
    the video when it looks interesting to me otherwise I just exit at once. I feel
    that I am wasting time when I watch a video for long.
