    This is actually not my method but the method that my friends use. They capitalize on their Facebook account. Having an active account is reason for your friends to react favorably to your posts. So when you have an update on your fan page then you can post about it on your timeline and expect your friends to like the post on your fan page. And if your fan page is interesting then it will gather more followers naturally. One tip that I learned is to make the name of your fan page catchy.

    Create several groups and link it to your fanpage. Add all your friends to the group and encourage them to add their friends too. Doing this would give you the numbers and you only need to funnel them into your page.
