    Facebook can not add a friend?

    I only have about 50 friends on Facebook.... But when I try to add a friend on Facebook it says I have too many friends and I have reached my maximum number of friends and will not let me add them. What is wrong?

    It may systematically problem. Or you may sent many request but friends did not accept your request as exception. I have one suggestion you can improve your privacy or update your profile perfectly. And you can verified your email again. I hope problem will solve.

    You can contact facebook support and see them rectify such issues. I mean you need more friends on Facebook than just having to be restricted to just 50 friends. So, hear from Facebook on what to do.

    There are 2 possibilities one is its a Facebook glitch in which you should message Facebook to report the problem and they usually inbox you within 48 hours.
    Second possibility is that you've reached the maximum number of friends in the past and you unfriended most of them leaving you with 50 friends. I bet it's the first one.

    I guess this is a conundrum of Facebook because I had read the same complaint in Facebook some years back that he cannot add more friends even if his friends are less than a thousand and the maximum is 5,000. But I guess Facebook has done something to resolve that issue of disallowing an account to add more friends. On second thought you might have committed a violation.
