    Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General?

    For your website's SEO, do you target one search engine specifically such as google or yahoo, etc.. or Do you just optimize for all search engines in general?

    If you build quality links, it's up to the quality search engines to find them.. Google will usually pick up and index the most links, then yahoo and Bing etc will naturally follow.

    Yeah, i just try to do that, build good quality links and hopefully they all pick up on them Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General? I was just wondering if there was anybody that actually optimizes their website for say google over yahoo, or yahoo over google or whatever Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General?

    I think your content is the key to any Search engine. It does not matter which one, you can target all by good content.

    However I have seen that Bing like search engines prefer some question type titles.

    Other than that you can optimize search engines with external linking.. :-)

    When it comes to organic traffic, more is definitely better. However I am not sure if any webmasters target other search engines except Google. Every webmasters targeting Google top 10 only Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General? .

    Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General? you already said, more is better, why would you target other search engines which give you less traffic Do You Target 1 SE? or SEs In General? Btw, it's hard to target multiple search engines because they use different algorithms

    Actually if you get additional organic traffic from search engines other than Google, its better. I mentioned 'more' from that perspective, considering you have already optimized your website in Google.

    There is no reason to pay attention to one SE. Just build quality backlinks and be sure to have good content. You will get a good ranking in all SE's if you have a good website! ;)
