Website flipping is the art of buying, improving and selling websites. It's advanced thing where you can easily loose money if you don't have the knowledge to do it properly. You must find a website that you know how to improve to get more traffic and money from it, than you sell it for a higher price.

Example: If an affiliate or PPC based website makes 10$ per day with mostly organic traffic, it's worth about 3000$. You must study it's money making techniques and traffic and make a plan how to improve it. If you are good at SEO and you know how to increase website's traffic, you can make that site 3x more popular, that means it will be worth 9000$ while making 30$ per day. Than you sell it and 6000$ profit from site flipping is yours.

I don't have any experience flipping websites but I do have lots of experience flipping Facebook group and page sites which I think is quite the same. I just want to share what I'm doing and maybe you'll get some inputs. It's easy, it's fun doing.

What I do is scan Facebook pages and groups for a neglected or unused site niche site which I think has potential, strike a deal with the owner(I won't go to specifics but you can get creative on this) and when the deal is done, I will optimize the site with new content resulting to continuous traffic. Then I'll find buyers for it. Investment wise it's good your $75 site can easily be sold for $300. But what's better is making your own sites to sell, it's time consuming and you need a lot of patience but it's worth it.

I am interested in this discussion because one writer friend is thinking of creating a website that he would be selling later. He was in fact inviting me to be a partner in that small business. The website will have a niche of pets and animals. I think it’s a good one because pet is my passion and that’s also the reason why I was being invited. However, I am still thinking of my work schedule that the new website may need my time.
