    What advice would you give to a friend who wants to blog?

    Let's say your friend wants to start a blog of her own. What advice would you give her to help make the transition into blogging easier? Give some creative ideas for helping a new blogger on her path to a great blog.

    Find something you are passionate about and blog every day. This will help you get new readers who are just as avid and passionate about the subject. These people will come back time and again to see what you have to say and be happy to interact with you on your blog.

    Establish yourself as the resident expert on your subject and then go out to other blogs and forums and let them know what your blog has to offer. Doing so will allow you to attract a niche audience who cares to learn more about what you have to say.

    Don't just settle for a Blog on Blogger.com. Explore your blog options for hosted and free Wordpress as well as Tumblr and any other blog platform. Each site will have it's own advantages. And, you will want to find a blog platform that is not only easy to use but helps you make posts easier and build your audience.

    As I had posted in another topic, I have a concrete plan to put up my own blog after having experienced the work of a co-blogger. What’s keeping me from executing that plan is the lack of time. I have the passion to write because I am a dog lover and my planned blog is about my dogs so there is no problem regarding passion and interest. Regarding knowledge on the subject, I have an ample stock of knowledge.But then again, I cannot create a blog just like that and later on let it hibernate for lack of updates. You should have to time to write at least 1 article per week.

    My advice are one shouldn't think blogging is not a get rich scheme.

    Blogging needs patience and consistency
    Always write good quality articles and check for grammatical errors

    Always remember to share and promote your published posts.
