    You should be able to promote a blog via Facebook, Twitter or any other social networking site, the same way you would a regular website.

Especially for a blog that needs traffic, you can promote it in social media by posting about your blog on your Facebook timeline or tweeting the same. You can also post the photo of your blog in Instagram. Just be sure that there is substance in your post so it will not appear to be spamming. Substance means there is relevance and is interesting to the readers and followers of your profile.

    Use Facebook and YouTube to promote your blog via a contest or raffle and you'll get a steady stream of traffic. You need very good articles to pull it off. Don't use long articles only short to about 150 words only. Visitors get bored easily.
