Do Bing ads work for promoting weight loss products?

Has anyone tried to advertise health products in bing ads with decent results? Who is the average Bing user and how can you target them effectively?

I use to use Bing ads for all my websites. I had a health niche site and saw a decent conversion with my ads. The only downside that I noticed is that I would basically break even with every sale since it cost a little more to get a sale. I would get more clicks than adwords, but I wouldn't get as many sales. I ran the same campaign on adwords and paid a little more per click but I had twice as many sales.

I'm sure if you were to sit down and analyze every aspect of Bings advertising platform you would be able to get a better conversion rate than I did Do Bing ads work for promoting weight loss products? I tweaked it for a few weeks but could never get that positive ROI.

If you were to set something up so that you could collect a persons email upon checkout, or make them register when purchasing, I'm sure you could send out an email blast later on and get additional sales.

You could also set something up like an upsell at checkout and see an increase in items purchased. You won't see every person purchasing an upsell at checkout, but a few will.

Thanks,

Razzy

It will only gonna work if you have a good knowledge of SEO and keywords for your niche. Bing is effective and handy PPC ad network, but you need to tweak a lot of things to target right audience for your niche. You know that health-related and especially weight loss products are the very popular niche on the internet. You need to do some research before you spend a lot of money on any PPC ad network.

I think the weight loss niche, no matter where you promote it will always bring in money. If you trying to promote it in June as you write this question, the problem maybe your timing and not the search Engine. I've seen Bing statistics, it gets upto 26% in some Countries so you maybe able to get traffic. I think your rate of conversion would depend on the time of the year you are promoting your product. I would try In January when people are looking to loose weight.
