    You need to constantly be optimizing your pages. If you get complacent your competition will destroy you.

    Build quality content daily, at least weekly, if you can. Make sure that content is keyword optimized and easily readable. DO NOT use ultra spun content on your website because it will just look bad to actual people who make it to that page. Google can be tricked with content as long as it's readable, but the people who read it don't want to stay on a page that looks like it was written by a person who didn't know the language or is a 6 year old learning to write.

    After you get the optimized content up on your pages you will need to focus on backlinks aimed at those pages. Don't just build backlinks to your homepage, you need to focus on ALL OF YOUR PAGES. You don't have to build 10,000 links to your privacy policy page, play it smart. Build a little bit here and there and think of what pages would be shared more often than others. The pages you think would be shared more, build some links to them because it will begin to look natural.

    That maintenance is a good question because it is an eye opener for website owners who are conscious of the SEO factor for their website. The continual or often uploading of unique and high quality contents is a must. My take on contents is that it is the building blocks of the website which means no content, no website and more content, good website. That’s the impression of the search engine on the website regarding contents. There are other activities to be done regularly like the stuffing of keywords and the spreading of backlinks not to mention the marketing promotions.
