I'm motivated by thinking about the future of our brand and where we can take it. Basically, 'what's yet to come' is the motivation. As it should be for any business or brand owner.

Yeah, success by itself is a great motivator. I think I have gotten far since the old days and I attribute this to my thinking back then. I have always been on the subject of "be successful", and this is what I say basically everyday as a motivator for myself especially when I am not feeling up to doing anything.

I feel motivated when someone acknowledge my effort. It just feel good sometimes when someone sees your work and appreciate it so much. Aside from that when your family depended on you, you would be motivated to get your work done. Having someone on your side always makes you feel motivated to work. You know that your hard work will be paid off at the end of the day.

As a manager in our office, that’s what I always do to my staff when they do something good. I never fail to cite their good work especially when it is extra work that is not really part of their duties and responsibilities. I have noticed that when an employee is praised he feels better than before that the exerts extra effort to do his job. A commendation is one good tool to motivate a worker.

What makes me motivated is by thinking that I have a dream. When I think of my dream, I realize that I have to do something to make it come true and that I need to work harder and do all the best that I can to get where I want to be. The success of other people can be also motivational. Especially if you personally know that person. That person can be a great inspiration to achieve your dreams.

I think I am motivated because I am planning to achieve something which helps me to work hard even though sometimes I feel exhausted already.Motivation helps me to enjoy and continue what I am doing no matter how hard the situation is. Yes that is true because goals really give us the energy to work for more even though we are already in a tough situation. If we don't have any goals then for sure we will not be motivated to work hard since it will be fine with us to just keep on doing some things that would not benefited us. It is good to have some set of goals everyday as much as possible so that we make our day profitable.

I believe what motivates me the most is my "WHY". In times when I feel lost, I just ask myself, WHY am I here in the first place? What made me choose this path? I am reminded of my family, my plans for the future, the legacy I want to leave in my career, all of those. It keeps me going. I always just go back to my WHY, and then I am able to redirect my focus in life.

What's make me motivated is my coming own family soon. It makes me motivated to plan for our future as a family, it inspires me to work harder and harder and i feel excited on it but still i feel little nervous because it is another level of living. I am currently making use of the reward system for the motivation. And the case is that I also make use of the pomodro technique for improving the productivity. Money motivation also works for me. But this year I am focused on health. And I should be getting small things done in terms of health. So that thins keep me motivated and better organized. But then again motivation is like on and off thing for me.

I feel motivated when I think about my travel goals next year. I strive to work harder an earn money as I can. Since I'm not getting younger, I want to at least travel to the places I dream of. I am a futuristic person and whenever I do something, I always think about the outcomes of my actions and thinking about the positive outcomes like monetary gains than would sustain some of my needs and wants, those thoughts make me want to do more especially with my freelance jobs.

I think I feel motivated to work because I am receiving a reward for my hard work either in money or in recognition and it really feels great to be rewarded. I feel so much happiness and joy in my heart which is something that hard to express. I think that receiving some compensation for the work that we do is something that will give as an inspiration to work had for more.

My main motivation in freelancing is the learning that I get and secondary is the money that I earn. I have big plans in the future for my freelancing because I will be retiring from my office work in a few years from now. When I have projects to handle, whether in the job or at home, my main motivation is the result. I think I already answered a similar question to this. And it appears my answer is almost the same. My bank account is my motivation. My goals are a true motivator.

I have a day job now which puts a little hinder on my freelance work, but it's during the graveyard shift and my clients are not really online during the night anyway so that is kinda okay. However, there poses an issue because during the midnight is when I am updating my website so there's that issue - i would have to instead do it during the day in the early hours of the morning hoping a client is not on the website trying to buy something - oops.

Another motivation factor is just being successful. I mean we all try to strive for success. Being poor is also a great motivator, you can work until you can afford to take care of yourself - this should be a #1 motivator for those that are without a job.

I clean up the area I stay in. Make my bed, clean up my study desk, sort out my messy cabinet. This can make things streamlined. The motive to do that is, how our mind works. It is really works on outside stimulus. You show it a few comedy clip on YouTube and you will be engrossed in there for hours.

I've been on numerous writers forums and on these sites I've posted a lot of my writing. The feedback I've got is mostly positive. Knowing that there are people in the world who believe I can write better and earn a living from writing is what motivates me to keep working not just as a writer but also at improving my craft so I can attain the long-term goals I've set.

And there is also the fact that I hate my day job. Negative motivation it is but it is good enough for me because that hatred compels to do my best to get to the point where I won't need that job anymore.

I think most people hate their day jobs on some level, or at some point. The trick is, to find a job you can stand to do for at least 5 days a week. Anything you find tolerable for just 4 days or less is never a good thing.

There are times when you have no choice and the only things that impels you to go to work is, you need the money.

Strange thing though is my colleagues think I'm really good at what I do. That is probably because the only way I've learned to cope is by giving it everything I've got. It takes my mind off the fact that I'm doing something that I hate.

I keep in my mind and heart the end results or my goals as I do my usual and daily activities. For example, as a parent I keep on laboring and earning so that i can send my children to good school and get the best training for them to become successful and self-sustaining individuals in the future. I get exhausted and discouraged sometimes but the thought that I will reap better children in the years to come keep me on the go.

My motivation in life is from God. He is the one who owns me. He is the one who lets me live in this planet. There was a time when I want to give up my life because I thought there was no meaning to life. But in that moment The Lord spoke to me that He loves me and I am His child and that He has a great plan to use me. It is the devil that wants to kill me because he was so threatened of what God can do to me. Since then until today I am motivated to live because of God. He saved me from wanting to lose my life.

Personally, I got the motivation and inspiration from reading and knowing successful people around me. I would start to observe and research on their personal daily habits, comments made by other observers etc that can shed light on how I can emulate and improve myself. I believe all of us stand on the shoulders of giant, it is never something to be shy or embarrassed about learning from others and admitting our own shortcomings.

I think that sometimes my greatest motivator to work on my freelancing sites are my family because they are my inspiration on why I am working as a freelancer even though I shouldn't work that way. I want to give all their basic need and wants that is why I am working hard for them, becoming a freelancer is really a tough job especially if you are working as a full time employee for a particular company. The time that you really spent working is being doubled because of wanting to earn more.

I agree with you. I think of my family and I would work harder despite the tiredness. I want to provide for my family since my parents are old now and I still have a brother that is still schooling. I am thankful that aside from being a freelancer I have a regular job. This way, I can provide better. It is tough to work as a regular employee and a freelancer but I can do it for my family.

Interesting question. I have never sat down to really think about it. This year has been kind of rough for me. Some days I have struggled to get out of bed and face the day. Generally what has kept me going is the hope of better days days, the realization that if I want my life to be better I have to create my dreams. My vision of a better life has kept me motivated. Motivational talks help, but the vision you have for yourself is the key in my humble opinion.

Sometimes I am being motivated to work hard whenever I feel a strong need for money because I have a younger brother that is still schooling. I need to finance his studies for him to have a brighter future and someday can help me to take good care of my parents when they get old. Sometimes I watch first some inspirational videos or I scanned some artworks that would entice me to do projects. Sometimes I do research on how to be motivate you to start your day. I need to release some stress by drinking my vitamins at the morning to relieve some stress and I am thinking about earning money more before the end of the day.

Break your goals in simple steps, give yourself some deadlines and keep track of the steps you complete (be it by crossing items in a to-do list, updating an app, writing a blog post/tweet/whatever about it etc.). Set rewards for when you complete a step.

Hi! Here I would like to talk about new ways of motivation through my own children. I have a daughter, Nicole. She is now 4 years old and I try to get her into sports from a young age, but I also buy her pretty things so she always knows that she looks good.
