Tommy Carey Marketing: Your branding may not be great in the beginning but give it time.

Website branding is everything in today's world because no one wants to buy from the second or third best business in the industry.  It doesn't matter if you have a product or service that is 10x better than your competitor, if you're not branded and they are, you won't get as many sales if you're set side by side.  If you're not the best in your industry, well there still hope because you can change your approach and only provide greatness, but it will take time to revamp and brand your business so you're seen as amazing.

Branding takes plenty of time before you see anything positive happen and there are plenty of ways you can approach this.  One of the ways is by using strategic PPC campaigns in order to bring people in, possibly get some sales, and brand yourself along the way.  You need to be patient when you're branding because your profits won't start to skyrocket right away, it takes time and will work as long as you keep posting and building relationships with your customers.

Branding needs to be done over time
Like I mentioned above, branding needs to be done over time in order to see everything compile and bring in plenty of traffic and sales.  Over time you will be seen as an authority in your industry and people will be purchasing from you solely because of your business name.  They will look up reviews, posts, pages, etc. about you and get the idea of you as the leader.

If you have a ton of content out there about your own website or business you will notice that more people will start to purchase from you on their first or second visit.  People will actually look up your business online after they land on your website, they will find great content that you've posted or gotten posted for you, and they will make a purchasing decision based on that.  This takes time, and a decent amount of money if you're paying others to do it, but it works well and the work compiles as long as the 3rd party websites stay live for a while.

Use strategic PPC and retargeting to push your brand
When building your brand you will likely get into PPC in order to bring people to your website and hopefully make a purchase.  The thing you need to do before running this campaign is get a facebook pixel on your website in order to have a specific ad show to them the next time they go on there.  They will have found you on Google, gotten a cookie from the pixel on your website, then BAM they see your ad the next time they log into Facebook Tommy Carey Marketing: Your branding may not be great in the beginning but give it time.  They will usually think "Hey, I just saw this website and now they're popping up in my news feed!" and that's going to help brand you a bit more.

Just like email marketing, it takes a few views before a person decides to make a purchase, but email marketing takes roughly 6 times before they pull the trigger and remarketing only takes 2 times on average Tommy Carey Marketing: Your branding may not be great in the beginning but give it time.

You may not profit your first week or month
When you're branding your website you can't look at how much money you're making with the campaigns you're running.  You're putting up these campaigns in order to get remembered when people aren't on your pages.  If you can get direct traffic from people remembering your website, you've done everything right, but that takes plenty of time to take effect and not many people can wait that long.

If you want to do your branding just right, don't focus on how much money you're making, focus on how well you're getting noticed and bringing people back in from multiple platforms.

A rebranding may be needed before you see anything positive
If you purchased a domain that was branded wrong a while back, you may need to do a rebranding, but that's not always the easiest thing to do.  Your rebranding process should start with pushing legitimate press releases talking about how the business is under new management and you're going to be giving away a deal for the first month in order to prove you're 1,000x better than the previous owners.

You may not have a lot of negative PR out there from a previous domain, but any bad information about you out there is going to come up to haunt you eventually, so get on the job now and push positive content all over the place talking about how your business is under new management and refer back to it when someone shows you the negative content that could do damage to your business.

You will be an authority if you can stick it out
If you have the patience to stick with your branding you will eventually become the authority you want to be.  It's a long journey to take, but the end of it will be filled with riches hopefully, and you can look back and think "I started from the bottom now I'm here" lol Tommy Carey Marketing: Your branding may not be great in the beginning but give it time.

Being the authority within your industry isn't the easiest thing to do, but it's definitely possible, so you should get started today and see what you can do within your first month.

In conclusion
Your branding won't work right away and may not show anything positive within the first few months, but that doesn't mean you should stop doing it.  You should brand as much as you can, run PPC campaigns with remarketing in place, and show your website to as many people as possible for them to remember you whenever they need something you offer.  If you can do your branding just right you will see your direct traffic increase and your conversions get better and better because people won't have to look around much to find something positive about you online.

I love your articles because they're always encouraging about not having to see results immediately. Sometimes it can feel that you need to deliver results right away, but I appreciate knowing that it's not an instantaneous process. Great tips as always for getting great branding off the ground.

Everyone really does start from the bottom. You cannot expect to just soar to the top with minimal effort. I thought branding is easy but still it has to undergo lots of careful planning. You cleared some of my questions. You don't fail to deliver us with great tips.

Exactly! When it comes to branding in anything, be it a product or a service or website or even a business image or perception about a country, it's branding is going to be rooted in underground foundation in order to give it strong roots to carry the branding far. Breading or rebranding isn't something that you can achieve in a week or a month, it takes time and people need to understand that.

Beginners normally start from the bottom except if you have a wealthy father who would give you tons of money for your business venture. But sometimes I imagine to have an excess of capital that would make me succeed because the usual cause of failure is the lack of capital. If I have no problem with the cash flow then I would probably venture into more advertising so that people will be flocking to my site.

Some people make the grave mistakes of despising their little beginning when things aren't going so well as planned but forgetting that nothing good comes so easy overnight. Such needs time, patience, commitment and dedication to pull off an upset in the business. This is just exactly how website marketing is, it's not something that you can put an immediate time frame on knowing when you are looking at getting your returns. Just stay the course of your work and with time everything will fall into place.

I’ve definitely had to work on my patience in this regard - I always used to think that immediate results would happen if I just worked harder! But like you said, realistically nothing happens overnight and some things do just require time to take root.

This is a good reminder to everyone who wants to venture in this business that even though the beginning may not seem desirable, it doesn't mean where getting nowhere. Branding is important because people will avail of the products or services from someone that can be trusted to deliver their expectations. It takes time and we need to have the patience to wait for this to take shape. It might be a case of trial and error as it was said here that there might be a need for rebranding.

Building authority is one of the goal that needs to be properly handled. As you can see lot of people don't understand how to handle the authority and how to handle negative feedback. And that is not a good approach to reach towards the marketing and the service of the product. You can see that people who are really working on the point needs to be considered making use of authority and should build some level of content.

I definitely agree with your article because I can relate to it. When I was in my first year of being an employee, I had a job that was too easy. It was not interesting and challenging. I thought that no matter how much I think the job was wasting my time, I have to stay with it and gain experience from it. Well, I did! After a year, I was ready to leave and take on a different job. This time I had to talk more. The training was tough and seeing myself fail I always thought I wouldn't make it. But I'm still here in the same industry for five years now and I have learned and grown so much! At first, you won't really see the results yet. Just because you went jogging for a week doesn't mean you'll lose weight immediately. Progress takes time and most importantly, patience and determination. It doesn't matter how you start, what matters the most is how you grow! Tommy Carey Marketing: Your branding may not be great in the beginning but give it time.

Yes, I think success takes work, and people who are hoping for it instantly are going to be sadly disappointed. This is just one of the things that we all need to work on when we are setting up a business of some sort. Marketing and getting yourself out there are very important.

I agree success can not easily be achieved. You need to work really hard and you need to have a lot of passion to succeed. There will be many struggles along the way but always remember it will be all worth it at the end.

For a lot of my posts here, I like to reference YouTube since I’m kind of a YouTube enthusiast. Not only that, but the way that YouTube works can actually be quite similar to the way many traditional businesses do.

In any case, I don’t think I’ve seen a single channel start off with one form of branding and stay the same over the years. Most successful channels had to do a lot of experimenting. Maybe they’ve kept similar themes over the years but all of them had to do some modification and tinkering before they finally struck gold and established something that could legitimately be considered a noteworthy brand.

I agree starting something don't bloom immediately. Most people experience up and down before they become successful. Just start something with quality, don't rush just move forward step by step.

You cannot build a brand overnight, it takes a lot of time and effort to build a brand. In order to brand your product or business, you need to promote your business and product very well. Your marketing campaigns should be targeted towards your potential customers. Your products and business should create a buzz.

I agree that you cannot push so hard as to get quick results when promoting something especially branding. Especially for a new website, the branding process takes a lot of time because you have to chart the direction and you also need a complete program for the marketing of your brand. Even if you have a dynamic account in social media, it will still take a month or so before you can establish your brand.

I definitely agree with this article. Branding is very important in business. And it really takes time and patience to get the success that you want. You need to spend time researching in developing your own brand strategy. By having a brand, people will easily recognize your business and patronize your products. This may take a while but remember that those businesses that have established powerful brands also waited for their right time.

Yes! You're right! Giving time for your brand to be known and be successful takes time. Slowly but surely your brand will be famous if you will not quit.
