    If you know how to type, you can give away free content, and you can boost your SEO much more than if you try to sneak links into content on 3rd party websites.  Guest blogging is a big thing when it comes to SEO and that's because you get a big boost from high DA websites within your own niche.  You may have heard that guest blogging has gotten hit a little bit by the Google algorithm, but I'll tell you that it's still one of the strongest ways to boost your rankings as well as your sales.

    People are always wanting some content, but they don't always want to pay for it or even have the funds to pay for it, so by giving it away for free you will get more people on board who need content and are willing to work with you for it.  You won't be charging these websites any money for your content, you'll actually be giving it away for free, so be ready to write a lot of articles each month Partner with niche related websites by giving them free content

    Free articles for a backlink
    One of the things you'll have to negotiate is to get a dofollow backlink from the content you're giving these niche related websites.  If you're not getting a backlink, or at the very least a mention within the article, you will be writing for hours that will never help out your own business.

    Remember, nothing good in this world is free, someone always has to pay something in order to get a good service or product, and in this case, the person or website getting the free content has to give up a dofollow backlink.

    One thing you can do is offer a free blog management service if they are going to give you the freedom to post whatever you want as long as it's related to their niche and industry.  You won't be able to write up advertisements for your own website with every post, but you will be able to get a couple a month in there. 

    Not many people will go with this option because most people are afraid you'll post everything about your own business, and that's not something they want to see.  If they do agree to this, they'll likely bring you on as a writer, but all of your posts will go into moderation.  This means they will have to approve all your articles after they're read so they are sure you're not just posting advertisements about your own website.

    You can outsource the work for pretty cheap
    If you don't want to write up all the content yourself, you can usually outsource the work for a few bucks with each 500+ word article.  Gain a few people who agree to let you post free content in return for a backlink, hire a writer to get the job done, send those articles to the website or blog owner, and now you'll get some additional traffic from the website or blog and you will likely get a slight boost in the SERPs.

    Thanks for the beautiful article. I have been working with SEO for long term. Every time I have been tried to post a guest post within a blog of some one else- I got a barrier about the posting. Later I have been identified my article quality is bad. I have to improve the article quality- SEO keyword based article and after a brief research of article. So it is better at first after a huge research with basically Google keywords planner- we have to write the article with that specific niche related and should need to publish the article on niche related blog which will be count as a Guest blog post with back link. Any kind of white hat SEO- off page optimization back link will increase the position of your website result on search engine result page, will generate traffic for your website for the life time and will play a role to increase your website rank over all the search engines.

    Gee, that’s a big letdown to be told that your article is not good. But maybe that is also a positive remark which would give you the impetus to improve your writing. I am not keen in trying to be a guest blogger because I know that it is not easy to find a popular blogger who will accept me. Maybe I would prefer to just post comments on his popular blog which is the easiest way for me to post the backlinks.

    I really enjoy writing and managing blog content for other organizations, so this is something that hit home for me. I love that it gives a chance to write in exchange for a backlink, so that there is an incentive to do it. It's a bit of a "you scratch my back, I scratch yours!" deal. Everyone wins.

    Backlinks can be vital for a new blog so if you have recently created a blog then it can be a great idea to write some free articles for other blogs in exchange for a backlink on that particular post. Of course, it's important that you write articles for the right blogs because there's no point in writing a free article for a blog that doesn't get that many viewers or is not related to your niche that much.

    Exactly! Backlinks are like treasure to new blog or forum or websites. For as the new site is still at its early stages, backlinks will definitely fetch it the needed traffic it requires but this can be successful and effective if the backlinks are of high quality. It's the reason why it's stressed a lot to work on getting a high quality backlinks.

    This is a great idea! I've read about guest blog but it wasn't explained nicely. So, I just pass by. But this explained it perfectly. This is good for beginners to bring traffic to their blog and also to improve their writing since it has to pass standards of the site. I will try doing this.

    Seriously, I have being into guest blogging for a while now and I must confess that it's been very helpful in getting me what I need when I need it as regards to my business. Some people find it difficult but it's never that way with me because I have find it very helpful to my business. It even helps with publicity.

    I never even bothered to think about it as a way to improve your writing. But you are absolutely right. If your writing needs some improvement then I'm sure the partner blog will mention that to you and you will know that your writing needs to improve as posting that on your blog may not attract visitors properly. It may be a good idea to ask them how to improve as well.

    Great article. I have a question.

    I am a member of a social blogging community. Someone once approached me and wanted to publish an article under my profile name. I got the approval from the site owner but the person was upset because the links were not “do follow”. I had no control since I did not own the site. The site owner said that's the way they have their site set up. No "do follow" links.

    I have my stand alone blog. If someone wanted to publish a post there with "do follow" links, how can I accommodate them?

    You can go to site setting (if you own the site) to learn about the links on your site contents. Wordpress by default gives dofollow link. If you are using wordpress, you can share a link from anchor text and this link will have dofollow attributes. By the way links on comments are nofollow.

    Great information. I may just give this a try.I ve just started affiliate marketing and the niche I am in is kind of difficult(or I don't yet have enough skill) I will take all the tips i can get. I guess this would be one of the ways that I can get back links( which I really need) Lol! This online journey is not a joke, that's why majority of the people that start it, give up along the way.     I launched a user-generated site in a hope to have free content. I do pay the writers, however, in order to get paid the articles need to generate enough views. Since, the writer does the hard work to write the post, he will gladly market his article in a hope to generate traffic. I am just providing a platform and the writers are doing everything to generate revenue for the site.

    I think site needs to be a good option if you want the niche backlinks. Because some of the time we can make the guest post but our own site if not good enough. Then the traffic eventually does not convert. So our goal needs to be understood in this case. And we have to learn to adjust with the backlink strategies that often guest bloggers make use of. So have better content on your own site before posting the content on other sites.

    Guest posting on other related sites for backlink is a good way to boost your site performance on Google. However, you must check whether the site links are do follow or no follow. Many sites do not allow dofollow links.
    Backlinks will only benefit if they are generated from high ranking sites. For example, your site has 20 DA, if you get a backlink from a site that has only 15 DA, it will not benefit much.

    Yes these days any website above DA 20. That is going to increase the traffic. The reason being such backlinks have a lot better value. Though DA is something you may not find the value there. I think having better content makes things easier to get traffic. And another thing is that niche based websites need to have proper guest blogging content if one can do that then it's a good start.

    Quality Backlinks will increase your DA and PA. However, in terms of search engine ranking DA and PA actually does not matter. Every search engines have their own criteria for search ranking and DA and PA are developed y Moz, an independent SEO company. We should not focus on DA and PA, what we need is out actual ranking in the search results.

    DA is not much valuable it's just MOZs ranking. It's not official google ranking. Plus page rank is dead too. The thing is that credible sites linking each other matters. And that is something we all have to understand there. It may not be easy to get the credible people to link each other but it can be done.

    When creating content for a blog in your niche, keep in mind the fact that whilst you are getting a backlink and some traffic, you are also trying to convince your readers that you are an expert in your niche. So no short articles that won't help solve your readers problems.

    When creating content, there is one question you need to answer:

    1. What does the person reading my article want to know?

    Whilst writing, focus on just that one question.

    Are you providing the information that whoever is reading your article is looking for? If that person will want to find more information elsewhere then your article isn't well written. Edit and re-write.

    p.s Create great content when you are guest blogging. All the time. You'll get more and more traffic from these blogs. Though these blogs might be your competitors when creating content for them, treat them as business partners.

    Gee, isn’t offering a free management for a blog is hard work that is supposed to be earning you big money? I don’t think I will have the guts to offer such service because it is not easy and it takes a lot of time. If I would be offered such a free service then I guess I will readily grab it hook, line and sinker. However, it is not easy to give that kind of offer because the blogger will surely be suspicious of a hidden agenda.

    If I am offered blog management job that pays no money, I will gladly take that job. I am a web master and I need backlinks. I can use the blog to create backlinks. I can even have a banner of my service and product listed on that blog. However, I am not open to give my blog for management with access to admin profile.
