Stop copying someone else's success and figure out your own path

It doesn't matter if you're working online or offline, you need to figure out your own path if you really want to be successful.  Copying someone else's success might not work in the way you have hoped and then you could go all the way back to step 1 of your journey.  Think of all the real estate agents out there that followed someone else into the industry, a lot of those people now have different jobs to make money.  They chased high commissions but didn't know exactly what it entailed and they essentially failed out and started over somewhere else, and that isn't something you want to do, so carve out your own path.

Copying someone on purpose is what I'm talking about, not copying someone in the world you never knew and didn't know what they were doing, because that just means you had a good idea just like them lol.  I got into SEO because I needed to rank my websites, I then learned everything I needed to and eventually took on clients to help them out.  Did I copy someone else and their SEO company?  No, I did my own thing and branded everything on my own while carving out my own path Stop copying someone else

You'll always be chasing their success
If you're blatantly copying someone you know is successful, you'll just be chasing their success and you may never be happy.  If you can just do your own thing, every step of the way will feel like a success, and that's much more fulfilling than doing something other people are doing at the same time you are.

Figure out a niche that is untapped
One of the best ways to be successful online is to find a niche that hasn't really been tapped into a certain way and push your idea hard.  I recently found a niche that doesn't have a specific service for everyone, and I'm going to jump in right away as soon as I build up a little more funding Stop copying someone else  No one is doing what I'm planning to do, which means there's no way I can copy someone, and that means I will likely be successful in this area because I'll be a hub for everyone in the industry Stop copying someone else

This is a rare occurrence, so always be on the lookout for a certain void in a niche or industry, and if you do find something you can tap into I highly suggest you don't wait on the opportunity and dive in Stop copying someone else

Use your skills to dominate the search results
If you're reading this you likely understand at least the basics of SEO and can get a website ranked.  Have you ever gone into a niche that wasn't mainstream or related to anything around SEO or Web Design?  The majority of websites you'll come across in random niches aren't optimized for the search results, which means you can go in and take over.  You can then sell your own services or products, sell ad space to the competitors, or even bring those competitors on as SEO clients since you already beat them in the SERPs and they can easily notice your work Stop copying someone else

Find a successful offline business and take it online
When you really want to find a successful method to make money, you just need to find something that is offline and has no competition online, then set up your own website doing what that offline website was.  You don't want to go to that business and help them get online, you'll just get a web design and marketing commission, you'll want to start your own thing online and possibly outsource the work to the company that isn't selling anything online Stop copying someone else

You might be able to do a sort of white label deal with them after you're sending a decent amount of work their way.  This way you don't lose any customers and the business doesn't have to worry about generating sales online since you're essentially doing it for them Stop copying someone else

In conclusion
You need to think for yourself, stop copying peoples success, and eventually you will be successful yourself.  You can't wait to jump on a great opportunity, because I can tell you from experience that I did a few times and now I regret it, so I won't pass on little gems of ideas anymore Stop copying someone else  Find some sort of void in an industry that you can fill and you will almost always be profitable.  Just run your marketing campaign right and try to avoid negative PR as much as possible, and you'll do just fine Stop copying someone else
