When you start your website you may not even know about SEO, but you'll quickly realize you need it in order to bring in super targeted traffic, but that's not the only way to make money through targeted traffic.  There are various methods and techniques out there that will bring in traffic but there are few as strong as guest blogging, using social media platforms, email marketing, and using videos to pull in this traffic.  You may not know where to start, but that's not a big problem because each of these methods isn't quick, which means you can take your time to build new traffic streams. 

People all over the world are using the methods I'm about to talk about in order to build massive traffic streams that pull in thousands of dollars a day to their websites.  Some of these websites even get acquired by big fortune 500 corporations, which means they are retiring after just a year or two of hard work, and that's something we all want in our future lol.

Guest blogging for traffic
A while back there was a sort of nerf on guest blogging because it was simply too powerful when it came to boosting your rankings by strategically planting a backlink in your posts.  If you're doing guest blogging now, you'll see your rankings not getting boosted as much as they would before, but that's not what you're likely targeting. 

Guest blogging brings in a decent amount of traffic if you get on the right websites.  The best part about guest blogging is your posts tend to stay live on 3rd party websites forever, which will always send in traffic and boost your sales

Using social media
This is a combo method because you can use pages and groups to send traffic as well as setting up a PPC campaign on platforms like Facebook in order to send traffic to your website.  What I like to do is combine these 2 methods and send traffic to my groups in order to build up the members and then get traffic through clicks of pinned posts or my links in the description of the groups

Social media has billions of people every day searching around for cat videos, seeing what their friends are doing, and various other things.  Get them to your groups or send them directly to your website with a PPC campaign

Using email marketing for more traffic
Email marketing has the absolute best ROI of any marketing method out there but it has a bad reputation due to all of the people spamming whatever they can to publicly viewable emails.  If you're building your lists how you should be, by asking people to sign up instead of scraping emails, you will see that your lists will likely click through and browse your website more often than if you were to scrape emails and blast out to them.

Using video content for traffic boosts
The majority of people out there would rather watch a video to understand what's going on than read an article.  There have been various studies that concluded videos are being watched more than articles are being read.  The time someone spends watching a video vs reading an article is insane, people are watching more video than reading text because they lose interest fairly quickly. 

If you make your videos just right, and the timing, as well as clips, are just right, you will keep people on your videos until the very end.  This means you will likely convert someone into a customer by publishing videos more than articles
