I really like your second and third suggestions here! I can't tell you how many times guest posting has come up in these SEO forums and conversations. Obviously, having prominent guests in your niche post on your pages is a great way to generate a buzz about what you are doing. Furthermore, if you can convince prominent people in your niche to advertise or support your own guest posts, then you should also hopefully be able to attract more traffic. I am going to put some sincere thought into these ideas and try to brainstorm bloggers and site designers out there who are doing similar things are or writing similar content like I am.

Well I am assuming guest posting won't really work for blogs that are from a company. For instance, my money website has a blog that I just created last month with 2 articles (i know i need more content) but for there to be a guest post would seem a little odd, right, especially if it is a company blog? This blog is geared towards the "make money online" niche. Having someone come out of the cold (as it were, it's a saying) would to me seem a little odd and especially to my blog visitors. I do not know though because blogs are fairly new to me, even though I have many in the past I just never really used them to drive to traffic but now since I am doing it, it seems a little hectic always trying to create an article that drives traffic that will inevitably drive sales for me. Paying influencers for advertisements is what hinders my journey. I do not really have the money to do that. It is true we use money to attract money but there are so manyvurgent expenses to reckon with.

If your posting guest is prominent in the industry or has a tinge of being a celebrity then you are lucky if that person would agree to a guest posting because it is obvious that you are just using his popularity. This is not a letdown to that idea of guest posting of a prominent person but if I were a popular person then what is the reason for me to submit an article for posting on your site?

I totally agree with getting influencer to help you out with the work. They have more access to helping you generate lots of traffic and get potential clients. Their advertisements covers wide range and they seem to be like a celebrity in the field with the power to getting lots of people to take your services hook, line and sinker.

The social media influencers are doing everything possible to ensure that they remain on the work and one way to make it happen is by hiring the ones that are going to deliver on the job. They will do everything to generate real organic traffic to your website as well.

When I first started out, what worked for me was word of mouth. Then I moved on to ad words and that really worked well. Although I've heard lately, the program has somewhat dipped in quality and ROI. The eventual rise of social media was a godsend, and to this very day it's been very effective in boosting sales.

Yeah, I've been reading that Adwords isn't pulling in as much as it used to, which makes sense. You have so many other advertising platforms coming out of the woodworks, as well as other big platforms opening their own, which will make Adwords suffer because people are looking for other sources to bring in traffic.

With just Facebooks ad platform, Adwords probably took a big hit over the last 5 years because of how popular it has gotten. A while ago no one was using Facebook ads, now everyone seems to be using it because of how targeted you can get with each ad Some of the quickest ways to boost sales for a new website

I'm not sure if Adwords is increasing their CPC because they aren't getting as many advertisers, or if it's just normal competition getting tougher due to people making more money. I felt Adwords was struggling the moment they kept sending me those offers for free Adwords. Like if I spent $400, I'd get a $400 to $400 ad words credit to use. Which would result in me having $300 to $400 in adwords credit to spend. Not that I am complaining or anything, but it's just that the frequency of which the coupon offers kept coming in, led me to believe something was amidst.

I have tried to ask similar websites such as my money site if I could place a banner, but they asked for an outrageous amount. Last time I contacted a site within my niche to place my banner (they have no advertising or anything) they asked for $10,000 USD a month. That is outrageous and the site does not even get that much traffic for them to price that much for a banner. It seems that whenever i ask to place my banners on sites related to my niche that it is almost always an outrageous price. So I just stick to my methods of advertising. Now, if the sites actually got enough traffic to the point where I could profit by placing a banner advertisement for $10k then maybe I would do it, but that seems a little out of my price range.

So make sure whenever you are placing banners that the traffic will actually convert into sales. Otherwise you are just wasting not only your time but the website's time as well.

Wow, 5k for a banner? lol, it sounds like that website owner didn't understand how to value their traffic and just threw out an outrageous number to see if you would bite Some of the quickest ways to boost sales for a new website

I'm sure there are plenty of webmasters out there getting insane amounts of money for a little bit of money because some large corporations don't understand how to evaluate the value of an ad placement, so they just throw money around and see what works haha.

Yes, $10k USD. Insane really. I do not think I would ever pay that for a banner ad placement for a couple of reasons:

1. I need really have success with banner advertisements, they never converted into sales only clicks (yeah, it is basically traffic but not the traffic I am looking for if I am placing a banner advertisement)

2. I could go on Facebook, and basically input the exact audience I want. Surely it may cost a lot because of bidding and what not but at least I would get my target audience.

I think the most I would ever pay for a banner advertisement for a 200k impression placement would be only $45. No more, no less.

Maybe one of the best approach is your number #3 which is to use an influencer to market your website. Of course, the influencer should be in a similar niche to the niche of your website so the influencer’s followers can relate to the contents of your website. But the downside to that option is the expenses involved. Unless you are close to the influencer, you have to pay the fee for promoting your website.

Yeah, knowing what your niche is and using people who work within the same niche is best in order to promote your website since it makes it easier to find the people who are interested in the contents of your site.

SEO and social media marketing are the two best ways to generate sales. However, it is difficult to rank your website on search engines because of the competition out there. Even if you manage to get to the top results, it is impossible to stay on the top forever. Therefore, you will have to consider other avenues as well. Search engine marketing is another tactics to generate sales. By spending money on marketing, you will be able to make more money.

I do not believe one stays at the top for too long, there will always be someone else that gets to the top. But for Google to constantly be on top of the competition for many many years is a great achievement. I still wonder if anyone would ever try to pass Google in terms of search engine. I know Bing tried, and pretty much failed but I can not wait to see if a small guy, like you or me, try and overcome the search engine giant.

We will never understand exactly how search engine algorithm actually works, therefore, we can never be sure about the best ways to get always on the top, what we can do is do your SEO work and try to outsmart our competitors and reach the top spot. The basic purpose of SEO is getting traffic, you try to gain traffic by increasing your search engine position. You should not be too depended on Google, instead, focus on other traffic generation techniques.
