    We all know that SEO takes time, so much time that we will go crazy waiting for it to start showing results.  Instead of going crazy and watching your rankings go up and down, you can focus on other aspects of your business so your mind is off of your rankings.  There are literally thousands of things you can do, online and offline, but I'll be talking about what you can do to make your entire system better so when your rankings do jump you'll be ready to rock 4 things to do while waiting for a ranking boost

    Keeping busy is sometimes difficult when you're trying to boost your rankings, then waiting for them to actually go up, because it's impossible to tell how long that will take.  You could be idle for 1 week or 4 months, doing SEO the entire time and waiting for that flow of traffic to come in when you eventually start to crack the top 10 for your keywords.  Instead of going insane from watching everything and waiting for it to yield results, you can work on the following 4 things each day to boost your business


    Streamline your support system
    A great support system can literally make your business sell more products or services.  There have been plenty of times when I've paid a little more for an item solely because of how helpful the support system of the company was with all my questions.

    Another thing you could do is add content to your social media pages. In fact, I find that thing to be massively time-consuming. Also, on top of that, you could try free marketing of your social media pages. Nonetheless, in the case of Facebook at least, such marketing is tough because only a tiny amount of viewers will see your posts.

    I have mixed emotions in social media because as you said it that adding content to the social media pages is time consuming and I have to agree to that. I think it s better if you add content to your site instead of adding contents to social media because at least your site will be growing and new content especially if the content is high quality can boost your ranking in search engines.

    Always be busy when you're just starting, just because you are waiting for a boost does not mean that you have to stall on the other aspects of your website. Keep on doing that you have done and do not rely solely on SEO.

    I think ranking chase is not worth in the long run. But yeah some people think of ranking as some value. I have found out that people who want to get customers should focus on the traffic. And that should be the priority instead of the ranking on the google. That's something instead of the chasing the ranking would work. But that's just me thinking about it from my experience.

    I think always be looking for ways to improve your site, would be another thing to try. It is just one of the options that you might want to try when you are looking for ways to improve your site it is just a good option when you are looking for control of the particular site you want to use.

    I think a lot of site owners forget the value of a good support system. I often might have an inquiry regarding a product or service, and being provided with even a relatively quick response is enough to positively influence my choices regarding the site. If it takes a week for me to get a reply--or worse yet, I don't receive any reply at all--that really lowers my outlook on the site and its owners. Adding content is obviously very good advice as well. I'm always working on something, whether I'm uploading it that day or not, so it's always good to have a backlog of content available to upload consistently.

    You're definitely right about the way some site onwere treat the issue of a good support system with a nonchalant attitude. Having a good support system will give the readers and visitors to the site through needed confidence that you are always there to attend to their questions and that's a great way to keep the connection between you and the audience.

    And without this your company is bound to get some really bad publicity. I frequent many video game forums, and every now and again a video game publisher does something to make their customers angry for whatever reason. I've seen many posts by loyal customers discussing how they never received replies after requesting help from customer service. Almost always these discussions ended with many people agreeing to never buy video games from that publisher again. Providing good customer service is absolutely key to keeping in business and thriving.

    Actually you don't have to wait for your rank to get boosted, just concentrate on target marketing and funnelling activities to get some sales thats if your a selling site. If it's not a selling site then concentrate on Adverts and Articles and open your site to reviews and comments.

    Yes, instead of being idle there are lots of things that can and should be done. I think we should do as many of those as we can so that we are not just sitting there, but instead have positive activities that will help us.

    I think the most important in your list is the last which is adding content to your website. Truly, it always boils down to content so if you are a writer and have the time, just write whatever is in your mind and polish it later before uploading to your website. The content should always be relevant to the niche and with substance. That means it is interesting to the readers of your website. And probably the SEO will improve as you put new contents to the website in a regular basis.

    You could also do offline marketing by doing Adverts in magazines or in other kinds of publications relative to your products and or services. This would definitely add traffic to your site.

    Joining Expos would definitely help your site this would expose your site or company physically to a lot of other companies and people. Also you can start marketing your products and services to other companies joining the expo. I use this method a lot and it's very effective, it's like hitting two birds with one stone.

    Keeping your hands folded while waiting for ranking doesn't do the site owner any good. What happens when the ranking comes and there isn't enough content to facilitate discussion? It's best to get active when waiting for the ranking because it generally adds to the betterment of the site.

    I just love how you put this, don't wait for ranking boost, but force one by doing the right things that you were supposed to do at the right time and you see your ranking soar high. Getting active helps more than being idle which it's why it's very important to utilize all the time at your disposal to make an impact on your site.

    As I wait for the boos in ranking, I continue to work on the improvement of the site. I add more contents, update old contents, do SEO, perform SEO audit, market the website on social media. I also optimize my social media accounts for the better visibility of my websites.
    you need better ranks in order to bring traffic from search engines, however, you will also have to work on the other areas in order to bring visitors.

    Updating the website with great contents is one key factor that we shouldn't neglect as we await for seo in the sense that it is a good way that we could keep the readers visiting the site on a daily basis. This is one attitude that I've learnt in the sense that I ensure that I update the blogs that I work on with new contents, so that those that visit the site won't feel that it has been neglected.

    Another good way in spending time while waiting is to do research and create more interesting content. It's best to create a number of content than could be posted in the future. Saving posts to be posted in a latter date is always a good thing to do.

    Adding content will improve our chances of engagement and ranking. I've noticed this happen quite a lot. Content creators have been improving when it comes to generating new posts. And this happens without them sacrificing quality for quantity. I'm learning to be more productive this way.
