Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

Getting traffic to your website is just the first hurdle you need to get over in order to be successful.  The real battle begins when they get to your website and want to make a purchasing decision or leave your website because they don't like what they see.  People aren't trusting advertising as much as they did in the past, and that's because anyone can make their own products and services look like the best in the industry, when in reality they are garbage and people are amazed how the company is still in business lol.  Roughly 70% of people don't trust commercial advertising in some way because it seems to be slightly decieving.  That is why you need to educate your visitors in a way that makes them trust you enough to sign up Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

If you can prove that you are worth purchasing from, people will always open up their wallets since they trust you more than your competitors.  Your potential customers crave information, and you're going to start giving it to them Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients  Think of it this way, you're going to give away massive amounts of great content, so much that it will turn your buyers into your own cheerleaders on the front lines of your marketing campaign.  Of course, you'll need to have a great product in place that can compete with your competitors, but I hope that is assumed.  If you can teach your visitors why you're the best, they will help you outsell any other marketing tactic 10 to 1 Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

Before you do anything, you need to write up guides and "how to's" in order to get people to read much more than they would if they came to your website for a specific search.  People want to learn, so give them plenty of content in order to stick around and read everything they possibly can until they fall asleep at their computers lol.

Your reach has to be far and wide, you can't just target specific keywords and hope everyone will turn into your brand ambassador.  You will need to boost your rankings for every keyword you can think of, low traffic and high traffic keywords, you can't be greedy and only target the top traffic ones.  Once you have this two stage content strategy set up, you're good to go Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

That specific technique has worked well with my own websites, and finding your own method using this strategy will take some time, but it can be done if you just take your time and map everything out Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients  Below are some additional things you can do in order to help educate your visitors and help turn them into new clients.

Let them see the inner workings of your business
Think of it as the yellow brick road and you're trying to get back to Kansas, you get into the tower and you see a big head talking to you, but something is off because there's actually a man behind a curtain talking to you.  If you didn't pick up on that, the example I was just talking about was from the wizard of oz, but explains everything really well.  You need to show the people who you are and how everything works in order for them to trust you.

You can do live streams in order to show them who you are and even some of your employees if you have them.  People will tune in to view what everything is about and see what you're doing, which will build trust because you're not scripting anything and you're just talking to them like you would your friend.

Another thing you can do is sit behind your desk and do a live Q&A with your viewers.  This will help educate them since they'll be asking you questions and it will also build trust which goes a long way.  Think of a webinar but you're helping people out for free Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

Create multitasking content for your readers
Literally billions of words of content get published each and every day, so you'll need to stand out from that sea of content getting pushed out to fight for the top rankings.  You can't really post content every single second of every single day, so you'll need to create content that multitasks for you.  A good example of this would be if you're teaching someone how to edit an image for their website, you can record everything and share it on your own website for others to use at the same time.  You can also live stream the entire process so people can learn in real time if they happen to be on your website when you're doing it.

You can then transcribe those videos by yourself, or outsource it to someone for a few bucks, and add that content to your website for better content on your website that might not be out there in the world already .  Once teaching lesson can turn into multiple content methods for you to use in order to bring in even more people to your website.  Rinse and repeat this process and you'll have a massive amount of teaching content on your website that multitasks for you Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

Always keep them wanting to come back to your website
If you can keep them coming back simply because of your content, you're doing it all right Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients  You'll need to provide some sort of value to your visitors and you can do that through your content because it will be educational.  They can come back to see what your new posts are all about, and they can learn along the way, which makes them want to come back more and more after every visit until they eventually turn into a customer or newsletter member Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

In Conclusion
Creating content that keeps people coming back is a tricky thing to do, but if you're educating them in some way, they will want to come back and see what you're talking about.  Creating content that multitasks will help you build up the content on your own website as well as help people in real time or later on when they stumble upon your video Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

Very very good points being made about transparency. I agree people aren't as trusting as they used to be, and are generally cynical, so allowing them to see what you are all about and how you operate I think are some of the best ways to get return traffic.

It's a great way to run traffic back to the site and the benefit is that one they trust you as an authority in a niche, they can go about buying services from you at the end.

I agree with you on the need to teach our clients things about what we do and other things about the type of product/service that's we offer. That's a great way to ensure that every moment they spend on our blog is worth it.

Exactly and if you show them the whole "working process" plus get them to relate to you, you've hit the jackpot. Once the customer feels that bond with you, they will return 100%. But it's quite hard to get to that point unless you use Razzy's approach. That's one of the best strategies to make them feel close.

Getting the visitors to relate to you is a good idea but the better idea is to make yourself be relevant to them because when they see that they can get something from your site then they will be coming back or perhaps they will go deeper in reading and understanding what your business is all about. A visitor is already a prospect and once you get a visitor then it is your call on how to convince him to be a client.

This is absolutely true, once you have the opportunity to teach your visitors, they will know exactly how you operate and make sure to follow them to the latter.

Some blog owners seems to overlook the tracking and teaching of its visitors, well it's their loss because such visitors just come and move on to where they would feel more welcomed.

If you can reach one you can teach one. It is important to know how to reach out to users and how to make them part of your success strategy. As we have discussed it is important to show them what you are all about and how you work to hook them.

Yep, creating attractive content that instantly makes you want to read more from a certain website is extremely difficult to achieve. You truly have to stand out from the rest and since the market is getting very competitive you need to be creative. That's why your article is on the spot - it gives you little pointers that will gain you, loyal customers and readers.

Content is still the king not only for SEO but also for the visitors.

You're are so right with this comment @Tronia, content is treasure when SEO is concerned. It's nature marks either the rise or fall of your job as a freelancer.

No one ever looks down on who taught him one or two things, so therefore it pays to teach your visitors because they are certainly going to be taking it to heart and eventually come back knocking as your potential clients.

Being able to educate someone in something or in any subject means that have a mastery of the content in the first place. I think that people develop a trust for you if you demonstrate knowledge of your content, and this respect or reverence will most likely make people and your audience come back to your site or sites because they feel like they are being given useful knowledge and an enriching experience.

Yeah, educating visitors shows you have something to offer them, and after such encounter, they are really bound to your work and your website.

Obviously a website, blog or line presence is supposed to at its core - be an educational tool. Whether it's based around fashion, tech, art and design, film, food, politics, etc. Any digital presence worth its salt is supposed to educate its visitors about what's happening in that area or sector, and also tip them off to what's coming in the future.

I have seen some content that teaches virtually nothing and I wonder why would someone up and write something that wouldn't offer any meaningful knowledge on anything. I believe that a question that should be on anyone's mind before writing is what am I going to achieve with this content?.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Well those people are opining. Their giving their opinion of something or someone. And opinion is telling people what you think personally, not giving them a clear blueprint how to go about something.

It's always the best form of convincing when you make your clients peak at your workshop, so to speak. Being transparent and straightforward always pays off the typical untrusting world today. When potential clients get a look at what you do and assessed that you really know what you're doing and giving them tips and warnings, then you're sold. Webinars and live chats are also great tools to let your clients see you and the things you do. I believe that the online business world nowadays is unlimited in terms of a lot of things to use to reach out clients and the guidelines listed here are of great help.

Transparcency and consistency are two major attributes that would make you a credible webmaster. This would make your visitors value your work no matter how little and they would stick with in anything that you put up.

You need traffic, however, having traffic is nothing if the traffic does not convert. In other words, if your visitors do not make purchases, your 10K daily traffic is just a number. If is better to have 1K daily traffic with a high conversion rate rather than 10 k traffic that does not convert.
One of the ways to encourage conversion is by educating your visitors. You need to make them aware of the products you have, how they can benefit by buying these products etc.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
You're right in the sense that it is the conversion rate of the visitors to your blogs that matter and to be able to do so is to have the mind to make them do business with you unlike what we have with bloggers that doesn't advertise their services and products.

@Brida This is very correct. It's important to work and get one's visitors on his or her blogs or websites to take up the chance and opportunity of patronizing in products and services provided by the blog owner. This way, one is gaining from whatever traffic his blog is attracting.

I agree completely and that is very well put. It's really why a lot of people are lost as to how to monetize their content despite having a good amount of traffic. The best way is really to take charge and make more of an effort to integrate the way of making money into the system so you can make sure that a portion of the visitors will give you some profit. If you are just relying on luck that some of them will make you money then you will take a longer time to reach revenue.

This is exactly what I tried to do with the traffic I have on my marketing Facebook page. I have lots of followers and friends that liked the page. So therefore, I took the liberty of marketing my products for them on the page, you cannot imagine the number of increased sales I have had lately.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
I love this, traffic is nothing if it definitely doesn't convert into sales, and the only way to turn huge traffic into manifesting higher sales numbers is by ensuring the training of these visitors in order to make them very much aware of what they are going to benefit from patronizing your brand.

I believe this because I have had some inquiries about how websites work for users wanting to buy my services. They do not understand what a domain or website is. So I sometimes have to explain to them.

It goes something like this:

Client: what do i need to use the script?
Me: You need a domain name, and hosting.
Client: how do i get that i dont know how
Me: You need to buy a domain, buy web hosting.
Client: i still dont know how to do that where do i buy a domain or hosting

At this point this is when I refer them to domain registrars and web hosting companies. I could also be making some type of commission because of the referral but sometimes I just don't. I see it as a way where they will think they just aren't my money making machine as it were. So yes, educating your potential clients is a very good way to drive the sales. You never may know who doesn't understand your service or product. Make them understand how everything works and they just may buy it!

Having those chats with your prospective clients can a good way to make them feel at home and do business with you. I mean it doesn't matter the price you decide to charge them for once they feel you're worth it, they'll definitely go into business with you.

People always tend to invest in something they have a good time and connection with, and it's only through educating such visitors that you can actually establish a strong connection with them, thereby making them loyal to your website.

It takes time to successfully teach someone who is not well rooted in the work of being a freelancer or ordinary site visitors. Patience is needed because once you are successful in teaching a visitor, he or she becomes a silver mine for you.

Those who are willing to help usually gets the job. When a client presents himself as clueless as you state in your example, and you willingly educate and teach them step by step, more likely than not, they will hire you for the job.

Well written,no body would want to have any dealing with an empty-headed person and of course, how will they know when one is loaded brain wise,it from one's blog and content. If you want to write an article for you for some pay, all you need do to know that the person is good is to read the person's content. So yes turning readers to clients is simply being an authority in one's field and see one's reader becoming clients patronizing the business.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That's true in the sense that, if we could be able to make quality contents on our blogs, that's a way to get our readers believe we can help them make better choices when they want a product or service we offer in the particular niche.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Haha @augusta you are very funny but you are absolutely right with your assertion. Whoever wants to deal with a cluesless individual should definitely be psychological evaluated to determine the extent of brain damage he or she is suffering from. We all want to have to be in contact with who can offer us something and not just waste our for nothing with a fool.

There was a time when I thought that giving away your secrets would just make everyone else a competitor but these days I think many companies have realized that times have changed and transparency gains a lot more than the disadvantages you get by giving your secrets away. This way people know they can trust you and they will keep coming back to you instead of anyone else for their information and this can be a great thing as you become their trusted source and you turn into a sort of dedicated and exclusive supplier for them.

This is a very interesting idea, and it reminds me of studies about group dynamics and similar theories. We do not all share the same mind or experiences, of course, but we do have an overall zeitgeist and shared culture, online or globally, in which secrets can limit us, in some ways, more than they can enrich the team or the individual. Sometimes making yourself viable or valuable IS about figuring out how you reverberate within the group and how your shared knowledge can make you invaluable.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Everett
That's some great sentence structure there I must comment on. Educating your visitors is a great way to turn them into clients

I believe that you do not necessarily have to give all your secrets away, but transparency is a positive thing - especially if you are an online business. However, I do keep some secrets of mine which really are not that secretive but I believe they hold some type of value so I usually do not speak about them because of the fear that things will get saturated and I will not be able to make much money.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
@Everett It's true to keep a little thing back from the core of what you operate from because it's definitely what would give you an edge should someone want to use your transparcency against you.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
This is actually true, the more you share knowledge is the the more you acquire another from the people that you are sharing with. There is no way sharing of knowledge goes from one angle, there is always the possibility of the parties involved to reciprocate the favor.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Keeping secrets would only make you look shady and certainly make people not to trust whatever you are offering. I think it's the illiterate ones that looks to keep secrets because of lack of confidence in what they are capable of doing.

Transparency gets you lots of people in your corner and make people have good faith in whatever you do and want them to get involved in.

Making your readers come back to your website is one good advice for marketers. And how would you make your readers come back for more? Always include new information in your updates. Whenever I would see a website with good information, I tend to come back for more. And when the next time around there’s not much substance then I tend to lose my interest and later on I would forget that website. Sharing information is one way of attracting new readers and keeping the regular readers glued to your website.

Amazing Idea. For people to visit your website, you need to give them a reason. What better way , then an education. There is so much knowledge out there, with the spread of the internet, it's become a bit confusing. You have so much to read you end up reading nothing. This is a real problem! Other people and I would welcome a forum where we could find what we are looking for in one place.
