Why having a voice within well written content converts best

We all know that content is king and helps us rank well within the SERPs, but did you know that you can have your own voice within your content that will help you convert more people into customers?  It's true, and it works very well when you can figure out what your voice is within your own content.  Many people actually do this and don't know it, I know I did when I started writing my own content, and this is why a decent amount of companies are quicker on the success journey than others.  Sometimes people don't even think about how they sound when they type up an article or discussion, which makes it even more unique and appealing in the eyes of the reader Why having a voice within well written content converts best

Of course, you'll still have to spell your words correctly and avoid as much grammar mishaps as possible, but that's pretty understandable if you want people to see you as an authority within your niche.  You can't spell "cat" with a k and use the word "aint" and and "bae" if you want to be taken serious by your visitors.  Or maybe that's what you want to be seen as and your followers think it's funny, you'll only know if you test it out I guess lol.

Writing is an art form that can have your own personality within it.  Do you think that Divinci and Monet painted the exact same ways?  Well, that's how writing can be as well, similar but unique at the same time.  You're performing the act of painting words on a piece of paper or a blog post, but the end result is vastly different and your readers will appreciate the time you took to weave those words together Why having a voice within well written content converts best

If you haven't figured it out yet, this discussion will cover the aspect of adding your own voice to your content.  Not just how you want to be heard, but your personality will be within the content as well.

People see you and not just your content
When you're adding yourself within your content, and I'm not talking about using "I was here", you're opening yourself up to the readers who are on your website or blog.  You may not see it, but you're adding little pieces of your emotions and actions to each piece of content you publish.  If you're not doing this, you need to start trying it out because you will notice your visitors coming back multiple times and even sharing your content for their friends and family on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

People want to see the man behind the curtain, so add yourself to the content as much as possible without ruining the piece you're writing.

You stand out from the crowd
Think about it, if you're writing up a piece of content that you're adding your own personality to while everyone else sounds like a robot, do you think people will gravitate towards you more?  They sure will!  People love reading actual content written in a way that they can relate to, because they enjoy it and can usually relate to you somehow.  If you're writing in a way that adds emotion or personal opinions in a way that triggers other peoples emotions, you will likely stand out from the crowd of bland content.

We all know what happens when you stand out in a crowd when it comes to online competition Why having a voice within well written content converts best  Your traffic increases as well as your sales and newsletter subscribers.  So get out there and stand out lol.

You can build up your own authority
This is a biggie when it comes to adding your own voice to your content.  How many times have you read through a "Gurus" article and it's robotic and drab?  Not very often, because they're adding their own voice to the content in order to build themselves up as an authority over time.

Becoming an authority within your niche isn't an easy thing to do, but it's slightly easier if you just be yourself and convey that fun and happy side into your content while also being informative.

People are more willing to sign up with you
If you're adding your own voice and personality to your content, your readers are more willing to sign up with your for a newsletter or even make a purchase without doing much research.  You've gained their trust through writing, and now they are willing to follow you into battle no matter where you go.  Of course you won't actually be going into battle lol, you'll just be building up a following Why having a voice within well written content converts best

In Conclusion
Writing in a way that adds your own voice to the content as well as your personality will make it so the reader can picture you in their head talking about all of the content they're currently reading.  If someone can picture you reading the content out loud, you've branded yourself with them, and that goes much further than paying $2.10 for a single click on Facebook or Adwords lol.  So get out there and refine your writing skills while adding yourself to the mix and watch your authority build up as well as your sales increase slowly Why having a voice within well written content converts best

You have said it all in your article, your thread is well written which is due to efforts you made trying to patch it up together, I give you a thumbs up for this.

You hit the nail already, educating writers like me to know how to have a voice in a content, which is very important in content and blog writing. As writers who write apart from freelancing and blogging, we were taught the principles of writing and the different voices we can use, but I never thought it was still attributed to content writing. Now I know.

This is the reason I always advocate for one to write in a unique tone that is different from what is out there. The good side of it is that one can be able to do articles that have a pattern different from others.

True, there are articles that standout than others, same with books and other related write ups.

There are some books I have read, they lacked that voice and symbol of authority in it, it is really important to have a voice on anything you write it proves and tje extent of your creativity.

I forgot to ask, don't you think that having a voice in content writing is not important, and I see people who have a voice within content writing as people that are always saying too much about themselves and trying to prove how they are smarter than others.

You said something like in this write-up, but you didnt tell us how to avoid it, can you please shed some lights in this manner.

Certainly having a voice in whatever topic one is writing about helps to give the readers the little knowledge about the person's perception, IQ, and pattern of thinking. One can stand out of a pack by just writing, as you stated people would be eager to sign up with a particular writer because of his or her outstanding posts, articles or write up.Like you, you write so well that I had to signup with you, same with idealMike and 2 other writers here.To be noticed as a great writer one must always add his or her best voice to a post.

augusta,
I agree with you, and I also thank that all of us, as writers, have to strive to keep a very consistent level of quality in our posts, blogs, correspondence, etc. Even if you have discovered your own voice and style, it is essential that within that voice and style you still keep pumping out pieces that are at least really good quality even if some of them are better than others. I find this difficult to do, but it is a necessary goal to pursue, if you ask me.

My understanding of having a voice in the written content is that the writer was like talking to the readers. I enjoy reading such type of articles in the magazine that I note the name of the author so that I would be following the next column or article. A well written content means it is easy to read and easy to grasp with the information that is being shared. There is no need to use very complex sentences that may even confuse the readers.

I think the reason behind that is we all are human. And we have to find our voice eventually. There seems to be a lot of changes that happen in the posts. And when we consider the changes for the conversion in the content. We have to see how deep and well it connected with the people. And how that works out. Another thing is that writing the right set of the content does not mean it will convert though. So people make use of the emotion to fix things up.

Your content, as far as I am concerned, IS your brand, to a degree. Having good content is essential--it is a must. also, having a personal voice and style really appeals to your audience--it makes them feel close to you or a sense of ownership and participation in the content. It is just like meeting someone in person who has charisma; you want to be around those people. This type of things is just as true with your online presence and your blog. You should always be "sociable" in your social media. It is proven that people respond to this, and it makes them identify with your personality and associate a "real" person with the content on the screen.

Agree with you on all points, once the reader identifies with you they will seek out your articles providing the content remains of high quality and relevant. This is what I am personally hoping to achieve, that people will receive value from my articles and refer to them when needed. I am planning to build my audience and then launch the videos.

I have written and published an article titled "Home remedies for heart attack." In this article, I have shared how my father recovered from a heart attack and what he is eating to strengthen his heart. The article gets good traffic. That might be because I have recorded my personal experience (I was with my dad when he had a stroke.)
Having a personal opinion, even if you are writing informative content, helps to attract readers.

I totally agree with you here! It is a great function of a blog to fill in the personal gaps of all of the cold and clinical content out there is just science or research-based. I love science and research, and they are both absolutely necessary, but also having personal accounts and vignettes of things, which the blogging world can contribute, really puts the data and research into a human and social context that can be very valuable to all of us.

What kind of information is being delivered is important, however, who is delivering the information is also important. An article on women reproductive health when written by a gyno is more trusted than when it is written by a general writer. However, it is also true that people love the article when it is embedded with personal experience.

Yes, people love reading personal stories especially from someone who overcome major setbacks. I have read about people who almost died of illness and able to regain good health. And when they wrote content about their struggle and how they miraculously survived, lots of people read it. Others were able to not only became healthy again but also became wealthy because of what they've written and shared with other people.

vhinz,
Thanks for the response here, and I do think that there is a built-in audience for these types of blogs which define the human struggle because we are all facing illness and mortality in our lives--this is inevitable. When we see those who overcome these things, we can be infused with hope, or at least perspective, when it comes to our own situations, which are always different and relative.

As I'm taking my journey to the realization of my dreams, there are times that I feel hopeless and uncertainty if I could reach it. But when I read stories of people who was on their deathbed with strong hope and determination of becoming well again to pursue their dreams, and they successfully did, and people with physical disabilities who managed to make difference in the lives of other people, It gives me the strength to go on despite the hardships along the way. It made me realize also how weak I am in the face of adversities.

I think when you say people seeing you and not just content means you are writing in your natural way. That is the advantage of writing about your passion since you become natural and the thoughts flow with gusto that readers would feel what you want to convey to them. I sometimes read blogs or even comments that I find so natural that I seem to get a grasp of the writer’s personality.
