When did you start working with blogs / websites?

Can you remember when you started working with them? What were the subjects you were addressing? What were your first steps? Did you have any external inspiration that motivated you?

I started with a blog talking about movie news in general, and also posted my reviews on movies.... How about you? Tell me a little more about your beginning.

I began publishing my articles on article websites in 2010. I received my first payment in 2012. However, I did not have my own blog until the end of 2015. When I decided to have a blog, the primary motive was to move my online contents to my own blog. However, I did not do that. Instead, I wrote new articles and published on my blogs. I created niche blogs and began publishing my articles on my own blogs. I published travel articles and health articles.

It looks like you are a prolific writer who has the innate passion to write. With your endurance in writing I guess you will still be improving as years pass by. Your motivation is very strong that you started publishing your work in 2010 and you started earning only after 2 years. That is a good anecdote to share to the new freelancers that patience pays and perseverance is one trait that we should have.

I've been making blogs since 2008. I started out with free web hosts like webs.com. It was just purely a hobby. I didn't know at first that I could make money with them. Then in 2010, I found out that I could make money by writing articles for certain websites. I also received payment via PayPal during the same year.

Then I realized that I needed to make a website to sustain my online income. I discovered about self hosted websites. I availed of the services of a web host using some funds in my PayPal account.

The websites I was writing for no longer accept writing gigs. But I still have some websites earning me a bit of cash online.

I did try free blogs like wordpress and blogger. However, I lost traction after a while. I saw profits on publishing on article sites instead of my own blogs. My first self-hosted blog was published in December 2015. It was a personal blog where I began publishing personal stories. I have revamped this blog many times, now this blog features content on religion, philosophy, and culture.

Does webs.com allow you to earn money through adsense? Is it alike blospot or wordpress? I used to write at other sites like Blogjob and Bubblews that pays but not anymore.

I guess my first blog, at least in terms of running one all on my own, was started about five years ago. I never intended to try to make money with it, but now I have started freelancing more and being more creative in my approaches to monetize what i do online. I was inspired by a lot of writers who I knew from doing a podcast, and so I decided to start a blog to publish their work and to support getting their voices out there. Of course, this is just a labor of love on my part, but I am very proud of it, and because of it, I have developed some really awesome relationships with poets, editors, bloggers, and writers in general.

This should be precisely 8 months ago.I stumble on a beauty blog that was greatly written and I just believe I can do same.So I started mine with more in-depth and few modifications and so far I have not regretted doing that.I'm enjoying blogging.

I totally understand you... It's kinda addicted, isn't it? Once you start and as the good results show up you can't stop, haha. When you realize it, you are writing more and more and more excited about it.

This is pretty much how I started out as well. I frequented a lot of blogs and eventually I felt like I have learned enough from reading so many of them that I felt like making my own would feel natural, and it did. I think if I hadn't read so many other blogs then I would be a lot less familiar with it and my articles and efforts would have felt more forced so it surely helped, although I guess it isn't really necessary as long as you know how to write well and you know your audience.

I remember my first blog was during 2004. And it took around more time during this time to get it established. I have seen working on small things added up for the website. And also the amount of the small sites I made in due process increased. In span of around 15 years I made some really good progress too. I think Simple website was made in 2000 by me. And at that time there was one site named treeway. And it's not there anymore. It was fun experience.

I stared back in 2003 with a webstore... then added a search engine or minority religions, that then turned into a forum centered on minority religions. It continued to grow for about 10 years. Then, I had some personal issues and the whole thing collapsed. My current website/blog was started about 2 years ago. It was just intended to be sample writing to show potential clients, but it is starting to grow and I've decided to put some real effort behind t.

I'm a total beginner in blogging. My website actually is not yet finished. I'm struggling to create content for my website. I just developed my own website but I'm having difficulty in publishing contents. It's just recently that I became interested in blogging because I was not really passionate about writing. During my school days I don't really like writing. English is not my native language but we have English subject from grade school until college. I could hardly write good paragraph every time our teacher asks us to write a composition. I could not even speak fluently in English as I graduated from college. But when I started to read blogs, books/e-books of popular authors, how their works created impact to many people, I became interested in blogging.

Blogging is actually a new journey for me. There's so much more that I needed to learn for me to be able to share to those people who want also to start to take this path. So I commit myself to reading other people's work and practice writing every day.

I am sure you will get there. You can see that building a blog and website is not that hard task. And you can get the things done in time too. I have noticed that working on the blog while writing is a much better approach. So start small and slowly scale your website or blog. That should get you in order properly. Don't wait for some perfection that may not happen you know.

Reading a lot of other blogs and mostly any English articles in general helped me a lot with proper grammar and structure so I would recommend for you to do the same or something similar if you want your writing to get better. I can churn out an article in no time because it feels very natural for me to write now. Anyway, I am glad you are pursuing this and I wish you good luck on your journey ahead.

Yeah I am really determined to learn how to write a good content. Every day I spent time in reading blogs from different websites and here on seocheckout. I patiently read blogs even though what I'm reading is little bit confusing to me. And to practice my writing, I would try to rewrite the things that I’ve understood on what I have just read.

To be fair, I think that is the same with a lot of people. I started at quite a young age as well so quite a few of the forums and blogs that I started back then were quite bad and ended up just being flops. But I have learnt quite a bit and I am a lot more successful nowadays.

I am not sure of the exact years or date because it was very randomly that I decided to go down the blogging way. I was a freelancer but I also started working on my very own blog. The first blog that I had and still do, was about technology - a mixture of things such as articles on new products, reviews, interviews related to the products and more. I just feel like you must be passionate about the niche that you pick in order to keep producing content without getting burned out.

I can't remember exactly when I started. At that time, I was writing only to share my opinions about various kinds of stuff relating to health. I didn't really have much traffic to my blog as I was not advertising my blog and my aim was not to earn. It was the first time that I was actually writing online and sharing my thoughts with the world. Eventually, I learned about SEO and I wanted to increase the traffic to my blog. Today, I can say that I am quite successful as a blogger.

It's been so long that I have been blogging, though couldn't figure things out about blogging. It took me so long to figure things out and became successful with blogging. In the past, I thought I just have to publish hundreds of articles on my blog to be successful, not knowing there is no way to successful blogging in that. I continued with that until I came across a money making platform that teaches me how to blog successfully.

I started my first website back in 1999 when i wanted to build small search engine and link directory for my country specifically. My inspiration was yahoo and DMOZ back then. It was great project. In 2000 i registered my first domain name, bought hosting and nice script so i had my own crawler for that website which was collecting all data i needed. However it was hard and expensive to run as i was kicked out from many hosting companies due to very high traffic, actually very high CPU usage... Sadly i discontinued that project after 800K of pages i build on my website with tons and tons of informations for my countrymen. Well i still keep my first domain name and have nice website on it, but for different purposes and it's like my own little baby, i am in love with it since it was born

I started in 2005, with a small forum about horror films. It took off so I then built a website as a companion to the forum with what little coding skills I had. I then took up coding and web design professionally after I studied up on it and sharpened my skills far beyond what I had currently known back then. I then built better versions of the site and as of now, we're working on the latest version. I also got more acquainted with forum technology, so I'd be prepared to move to v-bulletin and all of its newer versions with little to no problems.

I started a blog that I was serious about in 2008. It never got too successful, but I think google liked it. I lost interest in it. My second blog I kind of lost interest in as well, but actually I might start posting on it again..but I have an idea for a third blog. There are probably so many abandoned blogs out there.

Yes, I think a lot of people fell for the "make money blogging spiel" without realizing exactly how much time and effort really goes into having a successful blog. It is one of the falacies out there.

A lot of people are like this, myself included. When you initially get into the webmaster blog, you tend to have so many different ideas and your motivation isn't always there so a lot of people will have a lot of different sites that they sometimes give up very quickly. I don't know how many different sites I have had in the past but I'm finally at a stage where I have started to take things more seriously and have decided to stick with one site for a long while.

I started my blog a few years ago and even before I wrote my first article I knew already that my aim was to get approved for Adsense because otherwise I really wouldn't have much motivation to keep it going. My first steps were just to write many articles and get some traffic for them somehow and after reaching out to people from social media and also some fellow bloggers, I applied and got approved for ads, fortunately, and from then on I just kept on writing and uploading articles.

I started with my current blog in 2015. But before I started publishing online, I used to write on my own personal book. I used to write my feelings down then I stopped writing. When I came to know about blogging, I felt it was a nice way to write and still have someone else to read it. I never thought of any niche since I never knew writing could have some rules or a plan.

I started making websites when I was around 7 or 8 I think. That would have been around 2006. I can't actually remember if I started off with forums or websites. If it was forums then my first ever forum was hosted by Forumotion and was actually on Club Penguin. If it was websites then it would have been hosted using Moonfruit which was a sort of online website builder and it was also about Club Penguin.

I think most of us started out with the goal of making money. We quickly found out that the promise of "make money blogging" is not as straightforward as we hoped it might be. Yes, you can make money blogging. are you going to be able to support yourself as a blogger? Not very likely..although some do with hard work!

If my memory serves me right, I think I started writing blogs in 2011. I was just a co-blogger and I relented to the invitation because the niche was about my passion - pets. It's so nice to write about my dogs and I truly enjoyed it. This is not to brag but I could write 1 article in a day and maybe I can do more if I don't have other things to do. Blogging is very rewarding in terms of satisfaction particularly when there are many readers of what I write.

I started my first website around 1999~2000 and my first forum in 2003. And it's been a long painful road for me because I keep having financial setback and I am having one now. I had to move my current website off of a vps to shared hosting because I just don't have the money to keep the vps going.

I am moving January 1st and I need to get some things done before I move and there is no way that they are going to get done unless I save some money. So my website is getting put on hold for now until I can get settled in and come up with some more cash.

Blogging is a wonderful activity, whether you’re doing it for business or pleasure, and can even have a significant positive impact on the world around you.
2. Visual content (videos, graphics, photos, etc.) will only get bigger
Finding quality photos and images for your blog is a tricky issue.
At a minimum, you want to be part of a quality stock photo site that allows you to use photos on your site with an attribution license. But an even better option is to take your own photos, make your own images,
or have a professional do it – that really sets you apart from the rest.

Well, at the moment I'm not currently running a serious blog or website. However, I currently am using my spare time to compose and organize the initial stages of the blog I want to start. That being said, my first experience with blogging was about four years ago while I was still in college. As part of the course, our professor made us start a WordPress blog where we would post our assignments in the fashion of a blog post. I can't thank that professor enough because if it weren't for him I'd have absolutely zero experience starting out. At least I'm somewhat familiar with the format.

It was all started when I have to find a job and my former co worker suggested me to create a site for me to put all my portfolios and works there.
