It's probably a simple problem but just one that is hard to identify. Did you try visiting your site from different mobile devices and browsers to see if it was just an issue with a particular device/browser? And did you check all pages from your site? And are you using a software/theme like WordPress? I will be happy to help you out with this and hopefully, we can resolve it quickly.

You need to clarify your question and elaborate more on it so, we can know how to help you.
Are you using a CMS, if yes then you should have provided the name, so we can know whether it is Blogger or WordPress. and did you in any way tamper or alter any thing in the theme editor,(that's if you're using WordPress)?.

Before we can answer your question, you need to clarify how did your mobile friendly site altered to no-mobile friendly site? Did you change the theme, added plugins. Have you checked your site on various browsers, on various devices?
Some themes are mobile friendly and some themes are not. If you changed your theme, you should go back to your old theme or find a mobile friendly theme.
If the problem started after you added a new plugin, remove the plugin or find a similar plugin that is also mobile friendly?

This question of yours is very vague. It too sketchy for one to know what the problem is really is.

We are spirits to ascertain what could be really wrong with your mobile unfriendly site. But I will say you should be fast to rectify it because traffic. would be passing you by if your site is not mobile friendly.

Mobile friendly traffic is bad? I don't know how you are thinking in this situation. Having mobile friendly site is good. And you'd have better sales and conversions. Becuase people check more of mobile and other small devices. And you can benefit from the way it is being used. I have seen that people who are making use of the device friendly layout can make use of it and it does help a lot for many. Why you would want to switch it now?

You must have misread her post. She said the following: "my site suddenly became not mobile friendly and it's hurting traffic " and what she meant is that because her site is not mobile friendly anyone, it is probably hurting her traffic because she may be losing users who do not want to use her site as it is NOT mobile friendly.

Thanks for correction. I didn't checked that part.

In that case I guess OP makes use of the WordPress responsive themes. Also if possible if she can make use of the bootstrap framework or foundation framework. That is also going to help her with the mobile friendly layout. I am guessing that should keep the site mobile friendly and it will not affect her traffic from there onwards.

No problem at all. That would be a good idea if she cannot find a way to resolve this issue. But right now, the best solution would be to try and find what caused her site to stop being mobile friendly. Getting a new Wordpress responsive theme may require her to design her site differently and may require her to change the layout of some of her content which may be annoying and time consuming.

I am assuming this could be CSS Issue. Because most of the responsive properties are handled through the CSS. So that could be one place to check that mobile friendly is how the things are to be handled there as well. I am guessing that mobile friendly website are often break by the popups and other widgets too.

Sometimes just the vagaries of the internet can cause these things to happen, but it probably does have a root problem which may have started with recently installed plug ins or something like that. Hopefully, they will be able to isolate the problem and correct it.

I have no suggestion to the topic of this discussion but I want to know what exactly happened why the site suddenly is not mobile friendly anymore. I know you are seeking help because you are at a loss on what happened. I am asking the veterans here for their assessment of the problem. If it is Wordpress maybe the experts in Wordpress will have a word or 2 about the issue. But I am guessing that if the site is not Wordpress then the designer may have a say on what happened.
