Google + to increase blog traffic

I know that Google + is a great social network in question to improve the authority of a page on Google.

However, I have shared my articles in groups on Google+ but the traffic is always very low.

Have you been successful with Google + in getting more traffic to your sites or just not using this social network?

I would like your opinion.

Sharing your contents on Google + or any other social media does not guarantee traffic. One of the disadvantages of social media for traffic is you have to be very active on the platform where you are sharing your contents. If you want to share on G+ fpr traffic, become very active on G+, visit the site every day, give +1 to the contents you like, even leave comments and replies. When you are active, people in your circle will notice you. When they notice you, they will also notice your contents. Since you have always interacted on their posts, when you share your works, it is very likely that they would want to interact on your posts..

I agree that sharing your post in social media is not a guarantee of traffic. First, your post in the social media should be creative to attract the attention of your friends and followers. Second, what you are sharing should be relevant to them. For example, if you are going to share to me your post about gaming, I am not interested in that. So maybe you can create a Facebook Page for gamers and that's where you share your post about gaming.

I wholeheartedly agree with the post mentioned. With regards to Google +, you need to have active participation and be noticed by others. That itself does not necessarily guarantee traffic to your websites. You will need to be in the social circle whereby the target audience might have similar interests related to your niche. I guess it is easier for me to increase blog traffic via other platforms since it is easier for me to identify focus groups on Facebook.

I have been sharing my Youtube videos on multiple Google+ communities and you are right about this. Unless you are an active member of each communities you share on, it is not guaranteed that you will get clicks for your links. I even shared one gaming video to at least 10 Google+ video gaming communities and I only got like 40 views which is still not enough. I really believe that one has to build reputation in circles.

Obviously and I tried this way but it didn't give more traffic as expected, can say zero traffic if your Youtube channel doesn't have huge of subscribers or on your Google+ account has more followers then it will not bring any traffic to your websites though.

I think just like previous post from Vinaya says, We don't always get traffics whenever ae share our contents on social media it takes sometimes and patients, However I also think that if you have been waiting for so long in my opinions It must be the fact that google plus is not popular it's not really used by many people, So may be you need to change and use twitter or facebook.

It's a common mistake to expect that you'll get lots of traffic after posting a link to your website in a social media page. You need to have a lot of page followers in order to get a lot of traffic. If you only have 10 page followers or a hundred, you'll only get a few views.

I've heard that Google+ is great for SEO though. So if you keep posting your links in Google +, it may have a positive effect in your search rankings.

So in conclusion, build your page. Then post your links.

what gets organic traffic to blogs is the content of the blog.you don't just below par content and think people will flock in.Infact,Good content will make a visitor revisiting the blog again and again. But this is not saying you don't need to share on social media platforms but let what you're advertising be reasonable.

Google plus does not have many people on it. So getting traffic from it which is not earning can;t be that good. So you may have to adjust with the way things are in case of traffic. I have learned that google may take time in case of increasing blog traffic. Some people do use it but not many of them are going to click on blog links. They are very informed audience in that case.

I think you have gotten some very good ideas about the right ways to use google plus. It is a site we probably should all have in our blogging, traffic making arsenal, but it might not be the ideal place to share our work. It is just one avenue that can be used to advertise our blog.

Google plus, have not gotten enough traffics coming from there but I know with time and dedication you will start seeing your handwork, and more traffics coming to your site or blog...
Social medias can really help on traffic but you just need to improve your fan page, have enough followers and interactions, with that people will be clicking on the post you share on your social media

For me, Google+ was a bit of a failure when it comes to the actual traffic increase. I have tried it but I didn't get the results that I wanted to I returned back to Twitter and Facebook. I don't know if perhaps I was using the wrong methods but it just wasn't converting into actual traffic... Google+ is a big miss for me personally. I think that you'd have an easier time using other social media platforms.

I think Google+ can work for niche sites like applications/games betas where people can get more information in a more "official" way and with a better structure. Other than that you're better off using the other social medias.

I don't think so, traffic from Google+ can be very low and if you don't have any techniques to apply for it then it is hard to get traffic from Google+

Great. At the time to publish on Google plus you have to use hashtag. Like important keywords with hashtag. Some important keywords with hashtag will increase your blog traffic. Moreover you have to become popular on Google+ by following another.

Thanks

I don't usually use Google +. I will definitely like to know if someone was able to increase the number of visitors to their blogs through Google +. I have been very successful promoting my blog through Facebook and this enabled me to increase the traffic to my blog. If Google + really works then I would not really mind trying it.

If you say you are successful in promoting your blog in Facebook then why the need to shift to another platform? Facebook is a very fertile place to do your marketing and promotional activities because anything can happen with the billions of users in Facebook. Besides, Facebook is free and easy that all you need to do is to post your spiel and that’s it.
