I don't think there are any available real time video editing software out there.
I recommend to just keep the room you're about to use for face time in proper lighting.

I have never heard of any technology like this that is live. I guess you will have to just be stuck with being yourself, and, you know what? That is just fine.

To be honest I don't think that such applications exist for video call. I know that there are many applications where you can edit your pictures to enhance your appearance. Maybe they will develop something similar for video calls in the future. I will be glad to know if this kind of application really exists.

I never heard of any but then I am no very knowledgeable about facetime. I never used it before, so I have no reason to want to edit anything. I think those who have it, really enjoy it though. It seems to be something very special and a great way to communicate.

Pardon me for asking but do you have some sinister motives in masking your face while using the Facetime app? I have a niece who is being harassed by a troll and yesterday we cleaned our Facebook timeline of the troll’s comments on our posts. That troll came to mind because his next move may be the use of a mask in video chat just to spite my niece. Sorry for not contributing anything to the subject.
