Do you use Facebook ads?

Website promotion is very important. It let's people know about the site and drives traffic to web pages for greater revenue.

Facebook is the most popular social media network today and it is used by almost every person who has a website or blog. Why? Because posting links that lead to your website on your wall or specialized FB page would give you a considerable number of views especially if you have a lot of friends and followers.

But if you promote your website using Facebook ads, it won't matter of you have followers of not. Your website or any link that you choose will be shown to a lot people, depending on the amount that you have paid.

Have you ever tried using Facebook Ads? Did you have great results?

I have used it for the App installs. That type of the app installs are usually tracked with Facebook. So this can be interesting to use them. I have found that they can be cheap and paid both can have different way to quantify. So depending of how you monetize site and how you convert users, that's how it can be useful.

Bigger population, bigger opportunity to profit. This sums what Facebook potentially is to the advertisement.

I use Facebook a lot both paid and free promotion.Facebook ads is very effective as a good source of traffic for both blogs and affiliate marketing conversion.

The good about the paid ads of Facebook is it low cost but high effectiveness.

I haven't actually but my friend who owns a page has been using it and she said that it is really worth every penny because she has been getting a lot of likes lately. Every time that she would buy ad promotions of her page, the total likes of her page would increase dramatically.

Most certainly! The beauty of Facebook advertising is that you can set your own budget and Facebook will tell you how many people you can reach for that amount of money. I've found that for just $15, I was able to reach several thousand more people than before. Advertising through FB gave an increase in traffic to my facebook page and website as well as sent several likes my way.

That is good information. I have been thinking about doing something like buying Youtube likes. It sounds like Facebook ads might be the way to go. I wonder which ones are the best to buy. I think they will both get you attention. Maybe other people will comment on this discussion comparing and contrasting the two methods.

Yes, I have used Facebook advertising before. It worked pretty well in getting me page likes, but I don't think I had an increase of services from it. I promoted a video that I made in the hopes that other engaged couples would see it and consider hiring me for wedding video. On its own, the video garnered about 3,500 views online just through sharing. I paid $15 to run the ad for 7 days, and picked my target demographic, the vicinity I wanted it to run in, and the interests of the people I wanted to target. The advertisement gave me an addition 3,000 views, reached over 3,000 different people and gave me three or four new page likes, but a lot more traffic.

If you have a concise and well thought out ad, I'd recommend giving it a shot. It's relatively cheap and you can reach quite a few people for just a little money.

That's really awesome. But probably the service weren't of their interest. Sometimes, making a video for special occasions isn't in demand anymore. This is based on my experience and findings here in our city. I am not saying that you or those people who are selling that service, aren't doing good and all. In fact, you are so PRO at what you are doing, it wouldn't really matter in the end. What I'm trying to say is that, most local people aren't too picky when it comes to video editing and they can always ask their cousin or any student who knows how to use computer and make a compilation or collage video from all those pictures using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. Why would they waste any pennies when they can always invite that person to their wedding. Right?

Actually, what the real problem is is that video editing for wedding purposes is first on the chopping block when it comes to budgetary restraints for a wedding. EVERY wedding needs to have a venue, a caterer, a DJ, and a photographer. Those positions are almost always, 100% of the time, filled before the couple even begins to think about video. More often than not, I see couples asking friends and families to act as photographers rather than videographers at weddings. I can't remember the last time I saw an amateur wedding video locally, but I see photos every day from people who don't quite know what they're doing.

I don't think you're visualizing things accurately when it comes to the product we produce. A "picture collage" doesn't come near close to describing what we actually do. They "waste those pennies" hiring a videographer because we're there to capture the entirety of the event on video for them (with two cameras running at all times). Preparation, ceremony from top to bottom, and all of the major stuff that happens at the reception: cake cutting, first dance, etc. And edit a full length video for them to have going into the future. I don't think you want to hire a friend or family member, who should be taking part in the wedding day, not working through the entirety of it.

And contrary to what you may think (I don't think you're from the U.S.), wedding videography services are very much growing in demand (I book several weddings month, just had one last weekend, have another one this coming weekend!). It's just that that one small, $15 marketing campaign on Facebook didn't yield the results I thought it would. And most probably, it's because I didn't have my demographic set up correctly or didn't pump enough money into it. I may have been targeting an age group that was a little older than the "getting engaged" crowd.

I haven't really personally used the Facebook ads but I've read many experiences and stories from the people that have. The large majority have had great success with the ads! But before you jump into the water and get your feet wet, don't forget to do extensive research. You will need to focus your target market/audience with the Facebook ads. That's when you will actually start benefiting from them. But yeah, Facebook ads do work and they're extremely popular for advertising.

You are all right Facebook just like other social media is one of good ways to target audienceand attract trafics to your advertisements it has features which may help to know where to place your ads and using facebook groups helps a lot of people to find clicks on their advertisements so I would surely try it to drive trafics to my site.

Not myself actually. My sister runs a very small family sales project and she did, according to her it is effective. In fact, I don't use Facebook a lot, just the social part but not the professional one. Those adds are supposed to be a magnet of customers, followers, and apparently works really fine. Best thing to do is to give it a try and hope for the best.

I have advertised my product (book), services (affiliate store) and blogs on facebook. Though I did not have sales as expected, but I was really happy with the outcome

I already used Facebook Ads and had modest returns. My big problem is having enough money to invest in campaigns. I know I can have good results, but I just do not have the right capital right now.

Facebook ads have changed my business for the better. I spent a good amount of money on Google adverts and they still didn't bring as much traffic as the Facebook ones at half the cost. It's a gold mine.

It really impressed me with how effective the Facebook ads were in reaching people, especially for only costing me $15. I didn't see a huge return on investment from the ad, but a little increased traffic which is better than nothing. At the time I knew nothing about Facebook ads, so I most likely set something up wrong and wasn't reaching the best possible target audience for my services. But just the amount of traffic on Facebook alone should be enough to convince people advertising through them is at least worth a try!

It's interesting to note that those ads really do reach within the certain area limit you set on them, too. I set it so my ad would only appear to people within 50 miles of my home, I believe. I had several friends and family members make mention to me in the following week that they say an ad for my business on their Facebook feed, which made me confident that I had made the right move.

yes I do use them! And I found them very cheap and functional. With a very little money you can reach a lot of people to see the products or services you're selling. Since Facebook is such a large community I think it's a good investment if you think about it.

I have never tried them because I think you should only really use it if you have a business or a proper website. I just don't think it is as effective for things like blogs or discussion forums. I'm not too sure about the prices either because I believe they charge you a set price per view that you get which seems like it could get very expensive especially if you have a large demographic to target. But they are great if you do decide to use them. They allow you to target certain individuals based on their demographics and likes which sounds really good.

Well, they tell you ahead of time how many estimated people they can reach with whatever budget you set. When I paid for my advertisement through Facebook, I put in $15 and they estimated I'd read around 3,000 people for that much. They were pretty accurate in their assessment as well, and I ended up reaching a little more than 3,000 due to people sharing the post and such.

Really, I was getting views for pennies, which is incredibly affordable. I reached 3,025 unique people through my promotion and had 1,231 individual engagements with my post (shares, comments, likes, reactions, etc.), which was incredible for me.

In the end, I think being on social media is great for proper businesses. Social media is where people are and where they spend a ton of their time online, so it only makes sense that you should put yourself and your business there to stay in their "field of vision" so to speak.

I have a Facebook page for my business and I can confirm that Facebook adds helped me to increase my followers. I don't hesitate to spend on those adds as they have been helping me to build my customer base and hence increase my sales. To be honest I have been more successful on Facebook than on any other social network.

I have read many discussions that are favoring Facebook Ads mainly for its affordability because you can get a package for as low as $10 per day. If your business is big then that budget is too small for the cost of advertising. Facebook Ads are good in targeting people. Adding flavor to its advertising is the inclusion of the name of some of your friends that they like the ad. It is a simple style that can convince people to try the product or service since some of your friends in Facebook liked that ad.
