Anyone Help Me Choose A Nice Samsung Mobile Phone

Currently, I have my Samsung Galaxy Core. I paid an additional cash for it when I renewed my contract for my phone service provider because it isn't one of those free phones, they give at my chosen plan.
This coming November, I will again be renewing my contract, hence a free phone will be given to me. Though, I like it to be of Samsung again because it's durable and of good quality.
I am thinking of Samsung Galaxy J7 since it has a bigger screen.
However, can anyone still recommend another Samsung mobile phone, but not those so expensive one. Just the price range of  J7 will do.  I like it to have a bigger storage room and faster to navigate.
Please bear with me because I am not techie that's why on gadgets.

WOW! You have big plan for purchasing Samsung mobile. I never use Samsung mobile due to hanging issue. Recently I purchase huawei p10 and it is really good for using. Ram DDR 4 4GB and use 20 MP duel camera and lot of smart feature. So, you can try with this. But if you opt to purchase Samsung, I should recommend galaxy S7 or S8+. Both phone looking awesome.

Yeah, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S8 are both MUCH better than the J7 but he said it should be around the price range of the J7. Both S7 and S8 cost much more Anyone Help Me Choose A Nice Samsung Mobile Phone

What about the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime? it's a bit more expensive but for a good reason. It is better than the one you mentioned. It's sort of the upgraded version of the J7. It has better resolution, the option of base 32GB, more RAM, better GPU, latest OS, battery lasts longer and more.

I second this. My father's using a J7 and it's pretty solid. The screen is large and Samsung never disappoints. I have used this J7 and am impressed with the performance despite it being cheaper.J7 Prime is even better than J7 in terms of performance. If your budget is restricted, J7 Prime should more than enough fit your needs. You may add in microSD card if you find the storage restrictive.

It's actually what I have in mind indeed, because I researched for more models that are more or less of same price range or a bit higher than J7 and this is what made me decide to have.

I shall be calling my provider if they have that.

Actually yes, I am thinking of choosing that. I will be paying extra cash but I don't mind because I have seen its specifications and indeed what you enumerated are those that make me like it more.

Yes, I am a fan of Samsung indeed. I have proven its durability. S7 or S8 though are so expensive. I just want the more affordable one because anyway, after two years I will have a new one again.
Thank you for your suggestion. I appreciate it so much.

Yeah, don't worry. You aren't the only one that can't afford the S7 and S8. They are still extremely expensive here, even if you're using the discounts and various contracts... I have the same thing in place as you. After two years my contract runs out and I am free to choose a new, upgraded phone - last time that it did, I checked out the S8 and it was still $69 per month. So 24 months x 44 = 1056 USD. I didn't end up taking it just because of its price.

Either way, I hope that you will manage to get your hands on the J7 Prime because I know that it will be a good fit for you ;)

Yes, I like the J7 Prime. I will be calling my provider if I can have that and how much cash do I have to pay to have it in lieu of a free phone in my bracket of the contract.

You should totally get the samsung s8, trust me its a monster! The feature are also very impressive and the display and camera coulnt be any better. Again you have tge ability to connect it to an LCD display and see your phone in the largest didplay possible. If have a lesser budget, then maybe you just go for the samsung s7

Hahaha, everyone knows samsung s7 and 8 are really very good. The price of samsung s8 is about five times the price of Samsung j7. He wants something good of same price range.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
Yes, you are right. It has to be at least same range as J7 and @Tronia and @fishmonk have suggested that.
I am actually eyeing that indeed when I researched for more Samsung model with prices more or less of same range as J7.

I certainly would love that ,however, it's way too expensive for me.
Though, just as what other have previously suggested, I have Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.
I will be asking my provider if they have that. It' okay if I have to pay extra just to have it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
I actually like that two S8 and S7. But It is not within my budget to pay extra in lieu of a free phone from their lines of free phones for my contract bracket.
Besides, I have a netbook in case I want to do my online writing like this.
I just want a bigger screen and a bigger storage, J7 Prime as most have suggested may be just enough for my budget as extra cash to pay for a nicer phone than the free ones in my bracket of contract with the phone service provider.

I agree in choosing the Samsung Galaxy S8. It is one of Samsung's flagship smart phone when it comes to camera, battery life and performance. The specifications are very powerful and you can't see that to most modern phones with the same value. Although it may be a little bit expensive, it is really a good deal.

If you said that your not that techie in terms of cellphine, J7 is perfect for you. The main purpose of a smart phone is to have a handy device that you can use as a regular phone and also as a device to access the internet. Sub purpose is the usage of camera and other applications already available such as calendar, calcultor and the likes. So, your first choice is the best coz it suits you perfect.

Thank you. I actually was thinking of getting the J7 Prime, after most have said its withing my budget and has nicer specs. However, reginfalange gave me a link and when I read it, C7 has actually a bigger storage than J7 Prime.
Now, I have two choices, but I am really considering C7.

I think samsung galaxy J7 is a good phone. You can also check out the On7 phone. Both seems to have a bit different configuration. And the overall pricing seems to be good on that count. I have found that for this price range you'd have oppo phones but samsung J7 seems ot be lot better. In terms of price it seems to be good as well.

Thank you for all your suggestions.
Actually, I am think of getting the J7 Prime before I have read the link given by reginfalange. It makes me have another choice now, Samsung Galaxy C7.
But still, I will read for some more suggestions.

My brother uses a J7 and it's a good phone. But if you can afford you should purchase the S Galaxy 8+ because the security on this phone is set up by scanning your eye, you have a 12MP cam, is faster and works fine in the rain too!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
Yes, I love to have the S Galaxy 8+ and the like, because I know they are the best phones of Samsung. However, my budget is just within the range of J7 Prime and J7. Though, from a like given to me, I think I like to have the C7. Though it was out 2016 and that's a year old already. I suppose it has a newer version now?

I'm not familiar with the more current models, but I have never had any issues with Galaxy phones, specifically the S series. I have been using a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone for about five years now, and I have nothing but love for it. Sure it's getting a bit slow these days but that's inevitable with the advance of technology. Before that, I was using a Samsung Galaxy Attain, and while it is not like the S series, it proved to me that Samsung can still keep their brand quality even for their cheaper models.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
So you are a Samsung satisfied user too. I would love to have the S series too, however, I don't have a big budget though. I am not much into its other features except for its wide storage, fast , nice camera and a bigger screen.
So I am just eyeing those within my budget of paying extra for a phone not in the list of free phones in my bracket of contract with my phone service provider.

If you are planning to get a new Samsung mobile phone but with a price not too expensive, the J7 is the best when it comes to that range. It has great features, camera quality is also good and since you like big screens, J7 is also a good choice for that.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes, I actually know it now basing from all the suggestions here. I am happy I posted this because now, I Know which one to have. Although, I have seen that the Samsung Galaxy C7 is also very nice since it has a storage of 32GB.

I am a fan of Samsung smartphone. I like big screen smartphone, so I would suggest Samsung Galaxy W.

it is newly launch in Korea, cost USD $740, 1.2ghz, 5gb ram, 16gb storage, 8 megapixel camera, 3200 mah battery and suitable for playing games, watching videos, can make phone calls, but I doubt you can fit into your pocket. Maybe you need a handbag

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
Wow, so there's that Samsung Galaxy W! I will take a look at it.
But basing from a suggested link here, I think I like Samsung Galaxy C7. It has a 32GB storage and lots of good features. Though, it was released last 2016, one year old already.
Of course, I want the latest version of the phone.

If your service provider offer other brands, then I suggest you to do not limit yourself to one brand. There are a lot of good and high quality units of smart phones out there that are far better than Samsung.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
You are correct actually. But other brands such as iPhone are for those higher brackets of contract with the phone service provider.
Besides, Samsung is a tested brand already by me and my friends and officemates. And it is compatible with other phones, unlike that prime brand.

There are different types of Samsung smartphones available and the good thing is that you can buy one according to your budget and needs. One good phone which is not really that expensive is the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016. This phone has a 13 MP camera and takes really good photos. This is an android phone and you can easily download games and apps from the Google PlayStore. You can also easily browse the internet on this phone. Bluetooth is also available which means that you can easily transfer files from your phone to other devices.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
Yes, I have seen that too. Actually, someone from here gave me a link that showed a lot of nice Samsung phones.

But I would like to have a cash out that is within my budget and I have seen some of the nice specs and are one of the newest released ones for 2017.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Pixie06
Yes there are many things which we must consider before buying a mobile and budget is definitely one. I have seen some people buying very expensive phones and they don't even use all the features available. I only need a phone that allows me to make calls, send/receive messages, play games and one on which I can work. The good thing is that I don't need an expensive phone to do all these. I hope that you get to find a suitable phone soon.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
You are right. I don't like getting those expensive and complicated phones, because all I want is a big internal storage, good camera, bigger screen and fast connectivity.

I actually have researched and I am eyeing now the latest released last July 2017, the Samsun Galaxy J7 Pro. It's camera front and back is of 13 mp. So very nice.

Though, I would like to order my service provider for it after about 3 months. By then, it might be cheaper already, so my cashout will not be so much.

I would recommend getting a Samsung Galaxy Note, the one with a stylus. It has very good reviews and I do think that it's better than the Galaxy S phones.

I suggest you should find a phone that falls within the range of your budget. Samsung has a variety of look-a-like phones that almost do the same thing. Just list out a couple of Samsung phone with your requirement and carefully make your choice.

Don't forget not to overshoot way beyond your budget too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

SimplyD
Yes, I keep what I am wanting within my budget.

I have actually researched for more and have seen 2017 release Samsung phones that are of higher specs and are within my budget. I am taking my time of looking for some more.

Instead of a J7 buy a Note 7, the Samsung Note 8 is quite expensive but the older Note 7 has a good price nowadays. Try googling it's specs and price.
