3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

Everyone is always looking for the next big thing when it comes to making money. Have you ever thought of the businesses that are already around and making a killing? The next step would be to figure out which ones you can start up without a degree and ones that can bring in clients relatively quick. Of course, the 3 businesses I'll be covering will need to be worked on since they are not going to be an overnight success story, but that's obvious with every business.

There are businesses like these all over the place, they basically just help someone with a certain thing that they don't want to do themselves, and that's where you profit 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start You come in like a shining knight and save the day for the person or business in need!

So let's get started on these 3 businesses I'm referring to, shall we 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

Wedding Planner
You don't need a college degree to be a wedding planner, you just need to grind and get your first few clients in order to get those most needed positive reviews. Just remember, people will look up reviews before they contact you to do a job for them, and that goes for wedding planning just like any other business.

The beauty of this is that the bride and groom are going to be overwhelmed with everything that is going on, and that is where you come in. You know what you're doing, you're not nervous because it isn't your big day and you can get everything set up for the couple while they just say yes or no to features, configurations, flower arrangements, venues, etc.

You can work on just 1 wedding or 10 at the same time, it's up to you. Of course with the more clients you have, the more work you'll be doing, but it's worth it in the end since you're basically getting paid for your time 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

The startup costs for this type of business is fairly low. Your website will cost you less than $750 and that's for your hosting, domain and design. You will need business cards and flyers in order to send them out to potential clients in order to sell them on your services, but those aren't too expensive when you go through a mass printing company like vistaprint.com

The profits from this type of business can be as much as you want. It really depends on your reputation in the industry and how many people are clamoring to get you as their wedding planner. Sometimes you can charge as low as $5,000 for one wedding, but if you're well known, you can charge over $75,000 to be the wedding planner and coordinator so that the clients don't have to do anything except show up on the day of the wedding lol.

Interior painter
Some of the most profitable business ideas are also the ones that are extremely simple. I'm sure you've seen plenty of interior painters around your home, but did you know that almost all of them are privately owned and started up with a very small investment?

Some of these interior painters can mark up their services by 6,000% which is insane if you think about it lol. They can do this because a lot of people don't want to paint their homes or offices and will outsource the work to a credible company. The client sometimes thinks they can do it but they're worried that they might screw everything up, so they hire a company who has been doing the work successfully.

You will need to have a few personal traits prior to getting into this business, and they are:

  1. Attention to detail
  2. You can't be afraid of ladders and heights
  3. A lot of patience

Not only will you need those personal traits, you will need some physical items as well:
  • A truck or van to transport items
  • Ladders
  • Paint Supplies
  • Practice Homes (free painting for friends and family)

You can always just practice on your own home, but why not do some free work for friends and get a bunch of positive reviews flowing before you start working on clients homes 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

Social Media Manager
There's definitely a stereotype out there right now that people who just graduated who know how use "the Twitter" are going to be managing your social media pages if you hire someone or a company to do it. That isn't true anymore because social media management has become so wide spread that there are large marketing companies devoting a lot of time to perfecting their work, and so can you 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

Becoming a social media manager isn't as easy as the two previous jobs I talked about because you need to be slightly tech savvy and also have an idea of how the search engines work. It takes some research and testing before you can be well versed and knowledgeable on what to do and what to avoid, but it's not impossible 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

You can take some free online classes that will help guide you on the start up of social media marketing, which is always good. You never want to take on clients and not know what you're doing because that will just result in negative reviews and lost clients. You can build up your own social media profiles in order to use them as examples for your potential clients because they will want to see some previous work before they sign up.

If you're pushing a social media management website and you only have 100 followers on your Facebook page, you won't be happy with your results when talking to clients. Every person wants to see a successful social media page if they're hiring you for social media management. They want to know they're in good hands by hiring you, and having a very little amount of followers of your own is never a good example of what you can do. Even if the followers are fake, get them on your profile before you start contacting potential clients 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

In Conclusion:
You can always make money without having to work for someone, you just need to think outside of the box a little bit and have that entrepreneur drive within you 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

I think in order to make a success of any business though, you have to be able to sell yourself and your worth. You have to make contacts, and know what you are doing prior to starting a business. It isn't just a matter of printing up cards and going to work. Research and contacts need to be made.

The hardest part in a business is what you said about selling yourself and convincing people of your ability. That means you need to establish a good reputation plus the track record regarding the type of business that you are in. Sometimes it is very discouraging to hear the question about the experience but that is a fact of life in the real world that prospective clients and employers are eager to see your track record.

Standing out in any business require you to have a unique edge over others already in that line, and in such you should always pick up new skills and be conversant with the latest industry trends. I like the social media manager as it is very dynamic and requires constant upgrade to ones skills because the industry is a constantly changing one.

These days there are many social media manager out there. So the rates for earning are going down. I have found that high profit margin is rather hard here. You can form agency and see if that works out for you. But for this to properly work, you have to find high paying clients. And that's where things are a bit tough. I think it's doable but where you can find high paying clients?

It's a great thing to be your own boss and not work for anyone, Online business now have much competition and it's a bit hard to keep moving in the same line with others, like you said you need to think out the box.

Isn't being a wedding planner an overly saturated market as it is? I mean you have so, so many different agencies that went down that road... And I think that it can be very hard competition. I prefer the other two options. Especially the social media manager. Let's face it. Everybody is using social media platforms. Every single business, little or small and I believe that this job will get even more popular over time. It would be great to get into it 3 businesses that help people and have high profit margins that anyone can start

The article has bare everything and I can't agree less. As an online person, I prefer the social media manager over the other two.

The only one I can handle now is the social media manager because of my hefty schedule. I also like wedding planning though it takes time, which I don't have, to learn the ropes. Great article op and thanks for taking your time to put it together.

These are of course lucrative business but not everyone can do these business. Even if they do, they may not profit. I think I can try wedding planning. I am a married man and I have experience with wedding planning. I was unannounced wedding manager for my sister and brother. I helped my brother and sister to during their weddings.
I don't think I can work for interior painting. I don't have any painting skills and I will have to depend on painters if I start painting business.
Social media manager, this is for me. I have been with social media promotion and marketing since many years.

It takes time to succeed in a business like wedding planning because you'll have to build credibility to survive. Initially, you'll tap into your sphere of influence to get your initial clients. It's important for your heart and mind to be on the business or you'll soon lose interest and courage when things aren't going your way. If you're a good cook and know a lot of recipe, you can start your own small restaurant, food delivery business, or catering services. If you're an accountant, start your own accounting firm and make use of the networks you have established while working for a company. When you start a business, make sure that you know a lot about it or you have enough capital to pay someone who knows a lot about the business.

I think that for wedding planning, it takes much work and connections. It's an important thing for people who decide to have it planned by a professional, so I'm sure they will look for credibility and a portfolio. I don't think anyone can do that, or at least do it successfully. Plus, it's not really such an easy job if you aren't into it.

I think we can make it big without most businesses, the snag is thinking outside the box to increase sales and satisfy your customers.Nothing works for a business like returning customers ,they come back with more people and give referrals.

A little business can be built into a conglomerate if we put the right business leg forward

I personally know someone who started a small wedding planning business and today he operates on a big scale. However, nowadays there are many wedding planners and this market is very competitive. It may be difficult for a new firm entering this market to succeed.
It requires certain skills to succeed as a Social Media Manager. This job is in demand nowadays. There are also courses about social media management which one can follow. Once you have acquired the necessary knowledge and mastered the required skills you can start this new journey.

I have a nephew who is a wedding planner. My nephew is actually a photographer and videographer. He works with his girlfriend who handles the wedding planning. They are a good team. And their charge for the fee depends on the capacity of the clients. That’s one reason why they have an elegant office. That is to discourage the poor to get their services. For the wealthy, they can charge high and earn a good profit.
