Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

When it comes to getting into online marketing, you should look to the blogs and forums as your main source of knowledge. When I started off I was a member of plenty of forums and commented on plenty of blogs in order to get enough information in order to become successful online. It was a tough journey but eventually it started to pay off by allowing me to work from home for myself full time and not have a boss Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

When people hear "Online Marketing" they think that you're extremely tech savvy and can design any kind of website you want. I've even been asked by some older people if I knew Mark Zuckerburg lmao Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade But none of that is usually true because most of the marketers I've met aren't focusing on web design, they get it done for them, and they most definitely don't know Mark Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade You can use these blogs and forums to gain a vast amount of knowledge from anything like placing a basic backlinks to configuring entire campaigns in order to dominate the competition in the SERPs. In this discussion I'm going to go over why you should be using these free online marketing blogs and forums to help you succeed online Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

Knowledge
When you start out on a forum you'll obviously want to be a sort of lurker. You won't be posting much because you're just there to learn how to do something, not pitch a product just yet. The search feature on the forum is your best friend when you start out lol. Use it and find the answers to your questions so that you don't have to post something like "What's a backlink?" as it's own thread and it's been covered around 1,948 times already Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

I started out using forums and blogs to do my initial learning process. After a few years I started branching out and just doing my own thing which was good and bad. It was good because I could launch my unique ideas and make money, and bad because half of the time it flopped lol.

The amount of successful people who are actively participating on marketing blogs and forums is actually pretty high. I've ran into plenty of people who are making $150,000+ a year from what they're learned on forums and it's because they pushed themselves to learn.

Speed Bumps
When it comes to hitting a few speed bumps with online marketing, it's most likely a failure. You can't see a failure as a killing blow, you need to see it as a minor setback, or just a speed bump.

By doing your research on online marketing forums and blogs you can avoid a lot of these speed bumps because people may have already tried what you wanted to do and failed, meaning you could change your methods or drop the entire process before you fail Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

Mistakes
I've hit plenty of hard walls when it comes to getting one of my website up and running, and I've always gone to popular forums and blogs to get an answer on what can help. People are usually there to help you out as long as you're a good person. So all you will have to do is ask a basic question and write out what you've already done and people will likely come in to help fix your mistake Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade You'd be amazed at how many people are actually willing to help you out when it comes to something to do with your website Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

Methods
This is what keeps online marketing blogs and forums running and so popular. The amount of methods that are out there are staggering. You could read 100 in a day and not know which would work best for you if you didn't know what you were looking for. The best thing about the methods being shared for free is that you usually have them laid out for you in a step by step process. You can even add your own spin to them in order to streamline them even more or just make yourself more successful Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

In Conclusion:
Online marketing blogs and forums are a great place to learn and get help for anything you need. I've been helped and helped plenty of people without asking for anything in return. No matter how far along you are in your career, I would suggest you check out plenty of the top online marketing blogs and forums so that you can get some quality information in your head Online marketing blogs and forums can be a beneficial place to learn the trade

In the online marketing world, you constantly need to be engaged with everything new that is happening! Even if yo don't agree with some blogs or posts, stay connected inside the community!
Even if the only thing you do is lurk and you don't engage in any conversations with anybody, staying connected and reading or listening to everything that is happening will help you develop new ideas as well as maintain you informed about what works and doesn't.

Also, it is important to ask questions when you have questions! Don't always seek for answers, sometimes there aren't enough answers out there or maybe you won't find exact what you are looking for. In this case, you need to head on to the community and open the discussion yourself! If you find yourself in the right place, such as Seocheckout Community Discussions, for example, I assure you the right people will come along and help you as much as possible.

I personally love answering and responding to people's problems. Writing the answer I think is right as well as giving off my personal experience and information, helps me better understand the subject I'm talking about and it even gives me new ideas and insights I may try in the future.

This forum in particular is beneficial to me in terms of SEO discussions because this is the site where I first learned of the term SEO and I get my knowledge about the SEO methods mostly in this site. The discussions here are sometimes very technical but thanks to the clear comments that are easy to understand. There are also the good posters who share their own experience for a better insight on the subject matter.

I think I learned a lot of things on Warrior forum, Google groups and facebook group. So it all depends on the right group and the people who hang out there. Not a lot of people are good at such marketing blogs. You just have to find the right when people link to their stuff. I think wickedforums etc are not the place I'd hang out. Some marketing blogs and forums are not worth spending time.

I think your comment is essential to marketing. You have to market your brand, service, or anytime. You have to promote it to a group of people that care or are interested. You cannot just promote a violent video game to a group of people who are against violence. It will be ineffective.

Yes targeting to the right people can be useful. Forums are just like that. Even changing one section of the forum can lead to different people commenting. So you are right on that point. I guess we all have to check who we are promoting for same reasons.

I honestly couldn't agree more with what you've written. I still remember my newbie days (not that I am not one anymore). The first thing that I did was I used Google to find forums and blogs that spoke about the marketing and SEO.

You literally just type that into any search engine and get thousands of good results. I think it's a shame that some people don't use all this free help that's available on the internet. You can really learn so much just by reading or watching video tutorials that show the basic things/tips. I'd really recommend it to anybody out there that's trying to emerge into the marketing world.

You don't have to spend any money to learn. That's the beauty of the internet - it gives us free and quality learning options.

Excellent article and very true! To be honest, I feel the information and knowledge within blogs and forums, are often overlooked as possible sources. However, they are far from outdated resources that should be tapped into in order to have a more in-depth knowledge in trade.

Personally, I see blogs and forums, in general, as a type of "contribute to receive" system. Add the knowledge and experience you've gathered to the community; helping others along their path. In return, you'll sometimes find gems of knowledge that could be key components highly beneficial to your trade.

I couldn't agree more. Seocheckout is one such place but I've also been in forums where I surprisingly learned a lot without even asking a question! I know that it's also a marketing strategy for some people to help other people out so we can take advantage of that and learn what we can from them and save ourselves the common mistakes that other freelancers make. In time, we'd be joining forums not just to learn but to impart our knowledge and try to build our image as authority in our niche/field.

I am reading blogs to learn not only blogging but also other ways of earning from the internet. Truly, blogs are informative and sometimes readers turn to them for consultation. When we applied for a visa to South Korea, my search brought me to a blog that detailed the procedures plus some personal notes. I am currently into forums as a way of learning the ins and outs of making money online.
