Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB's and Get More Bids!

Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB
Hello! I was just checking through some of my WTB's to see if there was any new bids or if there were any bids I could buy from on them. Actually, I usually get notification when someone new has bid on my WTB but on this occasion I just wanted to see from who else that bid on some of them I could hire for some work I needed doing. As you do you know. Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB

I have several WTB's that I know could get many more bids on them (sure some of them might be for something unrelated as they sometimes are lol) but some would probably be for what I'm looking for and at a fair price.

And that's what I love about the seocheckout WTB section as well I may as well say while I'm here. I've always found the WTB's  useful and helpful to me to find people to do the jobs I can't (or don't want to / wont) do myself!

And at a good price usually too! Because what I find with bids on my WTB is that they often start off with above average prices in the bids that are being made. And then the bids made come down in price more and more as the bidders (freelancers) start to sort of compete against each other to get the job lol

Sometimes this can result in people bidding on your WTB for something that is only like 10% of what the regular/normal/usual price of that thing be sold for. And I know that there is some hot debate in the freelancer industry about that.

I mean, a lot of people say (myself included) that you should keep your freelance prices for things at the regular price (RRP). And for good reason too! For lots of reasons in fact. To keep the price up, and basically to not mug yourself off!

Basically, if a 1000 word article (for example) sales at around $15.00 (RRP) then that is the price it should be sold at if you feel like your work is worth that. Obviously you could sell a 1000 word article for $1500 if you wanted to and if it was on something hot, I bet you could find someone that would pay that for it (you'd be lucky though!) So I get that, but some people just need the money and don't mind the extra "online work" to get that money, put some money towards paying some bills, or paying someone off!! Or to put some food on the table and all of that. So are happy to bid something like $4 for a 1k word article (for example).

And so, that is the WTB's for you! You can find freelance work at a great price and done by an experienced professional freelancer too if your WTB gets the right bids from the right people!

But still, what I would like is the possible option to "bump" my WTB's like I can my services. So they somehow either go to the top of the WTB section. And a new alert sent to people who have the same "skills" I listed.

Actually, as I was writing this I edited my WTB and put a few more skills in and saved it and it's gone straight to the top of the WTB section. I wonder if people who have the new skills I entered will get notification about it as a new WTB? Hmmmm! Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB

Anyway, I've kinda answered my own question I think LOL!! Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB

To bump your WTB's you can just edit them? :/

A bump option would be better but that is a [legal] workaround for now I guess. Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB

I was just thinking actually, the WTB's are kind of unique to Seocheckout aren't they?

What other freelance marketplace let you even create WTB requests like that?

What other freelance marketplaces are even worth telling me about! Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB Freelance Buyers: How to Bump Your WTB

Whenever I set up a want to buy service thread I always get so many random bidders. If I post something for a 1,000 word article (using your example lol) I'll get people bidding the base amount and adding something like...

When I see this it's really annoying because if I need something done, and I don't see it on seocheckout, then I don't want to see random crap being spewed on my want to buy sales thread. Alright, I'll stop my rant there lol.

Is that really a thing? If so, then it should probably be edited so that you don't get a free bump just from editing. Imagine the chaos that could create if everyone knew this was a loophole to get a free bump...

I would agree, I don't see a want to buy section too often on a freelancer type website like seocheckout.com You can see something like this on forums, but that's an entirely different platform type, so it can't really be considered.

What other freelance marketplace let you even create WTB requests like that?
There is a big competitors to Seocheckout that does this, but instead of "Want to Buy" it says "Post a request" which is basically the same thing. You add your title and description as well as how much you're willing to pay for it and how long the entire process should take.
