How often do you post content to your website?

As an online business owner, you want to use every tool you have to increase traffic. As you probably know, original content is the key to attracting new visitors. Good quality content will make people keep on returning to your website. This is also the key to converting visitors into repeat customers. I try to post new content to my website at least 3 times per week.

I don't have a hard and fast rule for how often I post to my blogs. But I try not to let a whole week go by without at least one post, even if I have to take an old post and "repurpose" it. However, since I have several blogs, some of my blogs don't get the TLC (tender loving care) that they need. Hey! I only have two hands and I can't recruit any of my kids to help me with my online work.

I definitely try not to let an entire month pass without publishing and/or updating content. I also make sure that I use a “Ping” tool. That way whenever I do update my website or blog, the search engines KNOW!!

I try to update my blog daily at least a post per day I know Google likes to index new post so I try my best to if it a new post daily even my readers will always want to check for update so to not disappoint them I give them what to read even if it just a post.So it a daily affair for me.

I know some people who post on their sites on a daily basis but this is not something that I can do. I also have other tasks to tackle apart from writing. I also make sure that I write quality articles and this demands more time and research. My focus is not on the quantity that I post but rather on the quality. I found that people will be attracted to read your articles only if it is well written. This is what will encourage them to visit your blog from time to time.

When I do any blogging for any news- I oftenly publish keyword based and SEO ootimized keyword research based article daily. To publish daily is a nature of perfect writer. You have to research the keywords of high volume and than follow the keyword density rules and have to write unique content so that visitors will come.

3 times per week is perfect if the quality of the content is high and it has high search volume. I use to post content on my website every other day. I try to write the useful and quality content as content is the king. It is better to write a few quality and useful posts rather than wasting your time on writing thousand of low-quality posts.

It is better to do a little research before posting each piece of your content. I try to choose the most search keywords and high-quality articles for my website. This the only way to success.

Eu atualmente publico por 1 a 2 dias em cada site. Eu atualmente tenho 3 blogs de nicho e publicar diariamente em cada um deles me levaria muito tempo. Por essa razão entrelaço os dias para publicar em todos eles.

I have a blog of culinary recipes and I realize that posting daily generates a good traffic. For my niche the weekends can not be without posts.
I confess that I often can not post every day, but I keep an average of 4 posts in the week.

Hi, Roxan you are right the original content is the key to attracting new visitors, and to increase traffic on my website I must add quality content few times a week. I do have over 500 visitors every day so I need to keep them busy on my website. I am trying to interact as much as I can and add fresh content very often!

Currently I post content onto my website around 2 times every day. Once in the morning and one last time before I head to bed. Since I currently run 25 websites this is the most efficient way for me.

I post around once a week with a big thread. I could do more probably, but I'm just so busy with my studies in college that I haven't even got much time to do anything else at all but my thesis. I make sure that the post I do per week has good quality though, and is made with a lot of effort. The last thing I'd want is to lose a subscriber because of inconsistent, dull posts.

I created my blog two years ago, After publishing 4 contents for the period of 2-3 months, I stopped publishing. recently, I went back to my blog and began publishing fresh contents. Currently, I am publishing rapidly, I am publishing one article every day. I will keep on publishing articles until I have at least 50 articles. Once I have 50 articles, and the traffic begins to build, I will be publishing only one article in a month. This will help my website get regular traffic.

I had always been posting once per month but this year I have been very inactive. I never saw the need of posting more content like around 3 in a week since I had just started out with my site and there was no one to read it. But since I will be now focusing on a niche, posting two in a week or five in a month should be okay with me.

As much as I'd like to come up with a post every single day, my blog has to take a back seat lately due to offline issues and other online concerns that I need to prioritize. I try to come up with at least one article per week though and hope to catch up by January when I'd also want to share what I've been doing all this time. I just can't allow a week to pass without posting as it may turn off the readers who landed on my blog and have been coming back for more.

If your website is a blog, it is just fine to post twice a week. But if you have writers helping you in creating the content, it can be more frequent. For a business website, content would depend on the kind of business that you have. Some businesses are okay with a static website although it is preferred to have some kind of updates like news of discounts or something similar.

I think you have the best answer to the question. If your website is your blog and you are the only writer, then publishing one post per week will be appropriate. When you are publishing one post, you will have enough time to research, write and market.
However, if you have writers to help you develop contents, you can publish one article every day. You must be aware that if your readers are subscription based, having too many contents will tire them.
