what do people look for in Web hosting

Hello all , i am basic here to ask what would you look for in a webhosting package ?

i am new seller on Seocheckout and have made a service for my webhosting and selling resellers hosting .

i offer basics or any web host , with few extras .. im happy to give a free trail to show it work and uptime etc

just failing to see why its not being bought .. i see a lot of views and people opening it etc

They're looking for a host that probably won't go out of business in the next few months or years. On top of that, they want a good bargain for the money spent. Finally, they want decent or great customer service.

Note, what is defined as a bargain depends on what they want. For instance, they might want shared, VPS, or dedicated hosting.

I would look for a long-standing host that provides excellent customer service and support. Also a webhost that the big websites already use as part of what would convince me.

I been going for 5 years dont intend on stopping i currently have 51 customers and uptime is 99.8

i offer free support 24.7
and also free migration etc

that ks for your replys im pretty much all of what you say .. so I'm excited about gaining new customers

Are you in London?
And more importantly, are your servers in london?

The reason I ask is that I'm from London myself but I use an American hosting company because their servers are in America which gives increased speed to American visitors to my website, which is where my customer base is.

The london branding may be holding you back in regards to getting non English based businesses.

What I look for in hosting is customer support speed and uptime. Even though a host has customer support but response time is slow, I won't approve of that hosting. Also I look into the uptime, uptime is very crucial to my business, so I won't want an host that would give any reason for failure to the business. Lastly, online reputation matters a lot, hosts should try as much as possible to protect their online reputation.

I personally look for two things - RAM and the Bandwidth. In can adjust with the space. But RAM is very important for the web server performance. And the bandwidth is something nobody can negotiate with. So it all comes down to what we can use. So cost is another last factor I put into practice. So cost, space, bandwidth are some things that one needs to look out for there as well.

I would look for these points
RAM
CPU
Banwidth
Disk space
and price

But i will check carefully reviews about a provider if i decide to go with their services.

Here are some of the things that I look in a hosting provider:
Pricing: I want my hosting to be very affordable. Currently, I am paying $118 per year to host 10 websites
support: The hosting provider should have good support system. My hosting has amazing support. I get answer within 10 minutes 24 X 7
Reputation: I will not go with any Tom Dick and Harry. I want my hosting to be well known.

Problem is sir, i do exactly what your look for in a host but im not well known like godaddy .. my prices are great £12 year for the min package

my support team reply with in 1 min on live chat , and 5-10mins on a support ticket ..

Reputation is what i need to build ..

I already have a list of my requirements when it comes to the need for web hosting. The first item in the list is a reputable company, the bigger the company, the bigger trust that I can give it. Owners of small websites always look at the cost but they should also evaluate the capability of the hosting company for the continuity of service. What if I buy a package today and tomorrow that small hosting provider is gone?
