Honestly never heard of that social network, with prevalent social networks that everyone knows, it's hard to really break through unless something innovative is created within the company.

steamit is another good one.
They are up and comers as alternatives to facebook or networks that bug their users a great deal over verification and content.

I have heard about steemit, however, I have never used it. They say you can monetize your steemit posts and make good amount of money. I have seen people who talk about how much they have made on steemit, however, I don't know whether they have withdrawn their earnings or no. Once there was a social media called Tsu, just like facebook, which claimed to pay the user. sadly, the site has already vanished.

I had never heard about this site prior to stumbling in to this thread. Before, I could talk about this site, I went to the site for a quick navigation. What was intended as a quick navigation turned to be a through navigation. The site looks good for online entrepreneur. The site also runs a message that states " click here to becoming founding investor." I am interested to check this out.

Well depends on what people want to use them for, as they grow they will be more useful for traffic but in starting days all you really need is a site with a good amount of funding behind it and you can bet it will be around for a little while and be handy in building social signals. Along with getting content around the algorithms that all the major networks use.

Many of the newcomers are marketed as options due to the overly high harassment of social networks of their users with lengthy word alphabet documents filled with loopholes and non-fixes that just make everything worse rather than better.

I have permission from one of the founders of minds.com ("Ottman") to have an app or service built to do auto posting from my feed, all he requests is a copy of the code. But looking around to see if anyone has anything before i invest the money to have something made. But i was hoping someone may if i need be able to do it via ifttt as minds code and ifttt are both open source all the stuff to do so is available publicly.

I looked into Minds.com. I was not impressed. (My opinion. Wouldn't discourage others. Make your own decision.)

I have heard a lot of buzz about Steemit.com. I have not looked into it because my current load for managing my social networking activity is wearing me out!

I have come across one discussion with a list of new social media networks but I don’t know why I didn’t get interested. Maybe because I don’t see an important use for those social media network right now. With Facebook, it looks like I don’t need any other social media network because Facebook is complete for my needs for now.

Automating services are not going to bother with social networks with no membership or activity. If you truly think there is value in them you will need to post manually or something together depending on what kind of posting they will accept. Honestly I am with the general vibe here, no point promoting to an empty room unless there is some serious niche energy going on.

It's the first time I've ever heard of minds.com. I'll take a look at it later. I've tried a lot of new social media sites and found all of them lacking substance. Hope this one can offer something new.
