Ideas about writing your first article

If you are writing for the first time then it is very easy to get ideas. I would suggest you to write about your own experience as it is the most natural and best way to write something. Your reader will feel reality in it and it will create a lot of interest to read more from you. You will fell satisfied to share your personal thoughts and experience with others.

If you have any suggestion about it then please let us know. Thanks !

Having the most interest in your hobbies that add on to what you can write about can definitely keep the fire going in being able to post content as often as you can.

It is a good idea to write the first blog post about yourself or about your personal experiences. It is just about the first article. In this way, you can make a good start and you can learn more by the comments made by readers.

The very first article that I wrote for an online writing community that actually showed my name as the author was about country music. There was a young lady, a singer/songwriter/ who was deemed a rising star by VH1 and I liked her very first song. The editor returned my article to me unpublished because she said it just needed a few minor edits to make it perfect. Whew! I thought it was rejected. I edited according to her advice and Voila! I was a published online writer.

I am relaying my experience to let you know that you don't have to be an expert on a topic to write about it. Country music is not passion. But I was so excited about the artist and according to the editor, it was my "enthusiasm" and my "genuine voice" that was clear, which is why my writing work was accepted for publication.

So my advice is: Just pick something, write about it, and hit that publish button! Otherwise, you'll never get started!

The first article that I wrote was about unemployment and inflation. I usually write articles related to the economy and things that are actually affecting us. I submitted my first article to my supervisor and he gave me constructive criticism on many things and those helped me to understand where I was wrong. He praised me when I eventually completed the report. Throughout the years I have learnt how to write an article perfectly.

I agree with the experience. The first article that I co-wrote was about my experience with our dogs. I was not a dog lover before and I got to know of dogs only in 1986 when we acquired our first puppy. And since I was writing about my relationship with our dog so I don't need to research. Yeah, it is easiest when you write from experience because it's just like plucking the information from your brains as if the sentences were already written there and you are just doing a copy-paste.

Writing about something that you're genuinely interested in is likely to bring out the best writer in you as you would be enthusiastic about it and it will show in your work. Writing from experience may help but I wouldn't count on it as you would be likely saying things matter-of-factly which could be boring to readers. Besides, unless you're an expert on something, your experience may not be the experience of your readers and may sound limited. I like churning out rich content that are not subjective and from which readers can learn a lot from and make them look forward to articles on my site for information.

For choosing to write your first article i would suggest to choose the topic you are most experienced about and start impressing your readers from start. Also write long article and go in details with your article, use all your experience and knowledge so you gain trust from your readers to come back and read your next article too

I hardly remember my first article. I remember though, I was nervous end did not think I could do a good job. I tried to follow t other people's writing, because I was a fish in uncharted waters. As time went by I developed my style. This can only come with time and experience. My advice would be just do it and eventually you will find your rhyme and rhythm. Its like riding a bicycle, the first time you need a little push and before you know it you are ridding on your own.
