Red card or Blue card? A unique business promotion idea

I don't know if anyone has ever thought of this before. But it's a business promotion idea that's based on the Matrix red pill / blue pill conundrum. Basically you have two business cards made up. Red ones and blue ones. Then instead of handing out just one card to someone, you offer them a choice which would go something like this. Blue card. You take the blue card, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.
Red card.
You take the red card, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Now which card would you rather take?
The thing is, both cards basically have the same details on them anyway. Its only really the colour of the cards that are different.
The red card would have my affiliate site on it and perhaps even a QR code too (so they can scan it on their phone if they're feeling lazy).
As does the blue card. Except it will have different text on it like "Fed up of waking up in the same bed everyday and everyday being the same? Call this number or visit the website to see how deep the rabbit hole goes..."
So then, if you was offered a choice of cards like this. Which one would you take and why?
And what do you think about this business card idea? It's good to have a choice right?
I mean, a person could say neither and that's fine. But this way when you're presented with a fun choice like this, you could just take the blue card. Or, if you wanted to see "how deep the rabbit hole goes" you could take the red card.
Of course, it would mean getting both blue and red cards made up but they're as cheap as chips these days. You can get like 1000 of them for about £5 from Vista Print. Some places even sell more than that for less. But that's mostly cheap Chinese firms and you might have to wait longer for them to arrive.
And it might seem counter-productive to carry around 2 different coloured cards with you. But not really seeing as you may carry up to 50 with you in your pocket, wallet or suite case or even your man bag or something. And then when giving them out, just offer them the choice.
Saying "You take the blue card, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. Or you take the red card, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."
Which card would you choose and why?

This is a brilliant idea, Mike! Damn near close to genius!
As you well know, a lot of clients in the digital marketing area are hard to impress and you need to work a lot to get them on your side or impress them enough to close a deal.

What if when you end up with a reluctant potential client that just needs a push to accept your deal, you just do this card deal instead? Like you can see the client is not yet decided or you get the "I'll call you back" excuse, you quickly say something along the lines: Hey look, I'll give you an option other in my place won't, here you have two cards, one is blue and one is red. If you choose the blue card we won't do business together this time and you can contact me via my office email. If you choose the red card, you can find my personal mobile number as well as my personal email addresses and I'll show you what I can do for you!

I bet the intrigue alone will be enough to push most potential clients in choosing the red card just because this may be something so unique in the sales business they just have to work with such a creative individual.

Anyways, I'll repeat yet again, fantastic idea with a huge number of possibilities! Thank you, Mike!

Looks interesting but not sure what it implies for some products and services. Not all type of products are good enough for such business. I think this concept can be used for the detective agency and some other type of the niche. I am sure you know how that works out. Some people can work out on those details and promote products. But I think blog and some forums may not work out on this stuff.

Like what @overcast said, it looks interesting. However, I don’t really know how it can be effective regarding the business. To be honest, I got confused and I really couldn’t understand the purpose of those cards. It is somewhat poetic especially with that wonderland thing but we know it is silly to read that kind of text on a card simply because it is not true and as I said, it is just figurative. In other words, the message is not clear and concise.
