7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in!

Creating an engaging title that pulls people in is much easier than you think. I constantly get asked how to write properly and my response is never "You need an English degree before people will take you seriously!" lol 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in! I probably have some bad writing skills and people with English degrees most likely cringe when they read my articles and posts, but I couldn't care less. Below I'm going to go over how I create a title that pulls people in to read my 6.8/10 writing skills.

So let's get started!

Numbers Numbers Numbers!
Whenever creating a title that you want to increase the engagement for you should always think about getting a number in there. It's been proven for a while now that people are always drawn to numbers in a title because they want to see a list or how much money someone made, just like my title for this post 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in! Now I might not hit 7 ways to create a title that pulls people in, but that's a good number to use for a smaller list. Other numbers I like using are 11, 12 and 17 because so many people are use to the number 10 that they are becoming blind to it. Anything under 5 will usually get looked over because there's always someone out there with a 7 list, like me lol.

You can add a dollar value to your title if you're talking about profits. Now even though this post isn't about making money, I'm sure some people will just see $13,793.00 and click through to see what I'm talking about. For this post it's a little deceiving, but you can use it legitimately and get a lot of engagement because of it 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in!

A good example of getting numbers into your post is from something I just saw where the title was "How a 45 year old gay 300-lb man makes $900 profit per day". This title made me want to click through to read what was going on 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in! I was attracted to the numbers and saw "profit per day" so I was all in. And I knew the comments would be funny so I grabbed some popcorn and I'm watching it right now.

Controversy
If your title is controversial it will pull people in to comment. You may get people backing you up on your views but normally it will be the haters coming in to argue because we all know that someone with something negative to say will voice their opinion over a person who agrees with you.

If it's controversial you can actually get commenters to talk between themselves which will increase your engagement and if it dies down you can just come in and comment something little that will throw a little gas on the flames to watch it erupt again lmao 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in! I've tested this a few times on big forums when the US presidential election was going on. I would post something like "Trump > Killary" and people would go crazy over it. One of my forum threads actually got shut down after 20 pages of comments and half of the people in their yelling at each other lol.

Create controversy and you can have a great news website that brings in loads of people to argue with each other. Controversy gets the shares and shares bring people in to your website 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in!

Well, I got 2 for now so I'm a bit off from 7, but I explained that earlier 7 ways and $8,793 to create a title that pulls people in!

In Conclusion, use numbers to get someones attention and if that's now working you can always get controversial. People want to see profits so if you put a dollar amount in your title they will click through even if they aren't interested. If you want to get a lot of engagement you can be controversial in order to get people to keep talking.

I agree that when the title has a number particularly figures of money then that is a strong attraction to the eyes of the general public. Take for example a promotion of a supermarket that is holding a raffle when you shop there. The title is Grand Raffle Promo. It is very ordinary, right? But if the title of the promo is “Win $15,000 in cash” then that will definitely be interesting to the majority.
