May I ask what amount of traffic your website or blog is getting? And how long have you been monetizing your site using Adsense? If you're just barely getting a hundred views per day, then that's the amount of revenue from adsense that you must expect.

Try to market your website more intently. Try sending out several links to your website at reddit, Stumbleupon, and social media networks. When the traffic to your website increases, so will the adsense revenue. Your aim should be to get more than a thousand views per day. That would be a nice start.

It doesn't seem to be a problem on where you have placed your ads, they seem to be in the perfect place. If you don't seem to be getting any click rate it could be that you don't have a lot of traffic hitting your site. Working on SEO and gaining more exposure will help to increase traffic which should then help with the click rate on your ads.

Put the ads under the headline and before the content. That spot seems to be getting more conversion for people. Also reduce the sidebar and make people watch under below the content and above the content. That seems to be the method that is working out for many users. I am sure if you can apply these two then your conversion is likely to profit as well. And it may not take much time for you to work with it.

Does the blog have enough material? I mean, people, unless it's the employment niche or possibly some other one, are not coming just to click on ads. In that case, you have to build loads of interesting content or at least, enough content.

Now, finally, what is the design like? A bad design can cause a high bounce rate.

The only suggestion I can give is to get more traffic. Adsense earnings largely depends on the clicks to the ads on your blog. However, you cannot make your readers click on the ads. Besides, making them do that is not legal as per the Adsense policy. When you increase the traffic, there is a tendency to increase the clicks on the ads as well by using the law of averages. And if you will ask how to increase the traffic, do the marketing of your blog in social media. Ask your friends and followers there for their support.

How many views are you getting a day? Is the problem that you are not getting any views or that the views that you are getting are not converting to clicks. I also would love to know how long it has been since you got your blog up and running? It also takes time for your site to get views. I would look at getting your keywords right and also make sure that you have good content that will get your audience to click on your site and eventually stay.
