    Building backlinks for a forum

    Building backlinks for any kind of site is always a challenge, getting the backlinks to stick is always the hardest part to creating backlinks but also findin sites of a similar niche to which you can place those backlinks so that they become relevant is also a task, especially if you meet a site owner who is not keen on having your link placed on their site.

    I found that the easiest way to create good quality, relevant backlinks was to become active on other forums and blogs that were similar to my niche and having the link to my forum in either my profile or signature. Guest blog posting is also a great way to increase relevant backlinks for your forum as long as the blog post is informative and does not look like spam it will work.

    What methods do you find work best for building backlinks for a forum? Are there any kind of methods you would avoid?

    Great post and your right about the things you have mentioned. For me I have tried this few times using other forums and still looking on a daily basis problem with some as well as you mentioned is the top best forums most them don't allow the signature section. I also have built a few of my own forums which I just need to promote them so the more members the better and hopefully build up the reputation I need to succeed.
    I also use linkcollder not sure if you have herd of it its really good in away as its free optional upgrades but like I say optional. All you do is add your website to the database you then earn points by using there auto traffic exchange build as much as you can. You can use google+ likes gain even more points. I mainly stick to traffic exchange as its easier and can leave it running in the background while builds up points on its own. Now here is the great thing once you have points and your site is on there people can now Facebook like your site and share it , also wordpress it and blogspot it even stumbleupon it with also google+ it and many more . Just search on Google Linkcollider check reviews . Oh and also with your points you can buy not with money but buy with your points backlinks.

    By joining forums on your niche and posting on these forums will gain you the backlink. One of the easiest ways to promote your forum is by participating on forums related to your niche. By contacting the admin of these forums and offering for cross-promotion can also help.

    Joining a big forum and establishing yourself on the boards is a gargantuan task. I had experienced posting a comment and my comment was relegated to the bottom due to the numerous posts on that dynamic board. Now I am thinking that a post on a big forum is considered a quality backlink but how could that link get clicks from the readers when it goes to page 2 of the board after a few minutes?
