I originally wrote this for Listing Dock FAQ, but I've modified it a bit to post it here as I thought that it might be found useful by some sellers here. 1. Tell Your Story
People like it when they have something they can relate to. Use your profile to tell people about you, what makes you tick, what your passions, interests, skills or hobbies are. Why you do what you do. To do that, go to your settings page, scroll down and fill in the "Something about you" fields. Also remember to make use of the Status Updates feature and regularly post status updates about yourself what you're selling etc.

2. Take Great Photos
Bad photos = no sales. But great photos (and lots of them) = sales! So make your service's stand out from the rest by including several great photos of them. Perhaps from different angles, in different lights. Or being used in different ways to show off the practical and useful side to the things you're selling on here. Not always easy when providing SEO/SMM services and the like but still worth mentioning!

3. Ship Worldwide
You can gain a bigger audience by exposing your profile and the products you sell by offering International shipping and delivery. Make sure to explain in your service/item description that you can ship and deliver worldwide. Of course, SEO/SMM etc needs not physical postage. But you could still mention this to help increase sales.

4. Offer a Sale?
Everyone loves a sale! Right? Everyone loves a sale! Why not offer a sale for your products that you sell? You could even reward repeat buyers with discount/coupon codes as well which you can make using their username!

5. Fill Your Store with Goodies
Goodies are those things you like the look, just can't do without, or just love to have around as a bonus or extra of some sort. So why not offer some goodies to your buyers as a free bonus when they make a purchase? It helps increase sales!

6. Show The Love
Always offer and provide amazing customer service and support. Even when the customer is being awkward and naggy. Blow them out of the water with kindness and go the extra mile with them. They'll remember and return!

7. Get Social
Don't just rely on Seocheckout to bring in the traffic, customers and sales. Get social and move your store to social media sites. Create a Facebook Fanpage, a Pinterest account and post/share/pin all your services to it. After all - sharing is caring!

#7 is a good tip. Many people rely on the marketplace to bring in customers to buy their services. Many times a seller would often ask how come they are not getting any sales. Usually this is due to them not advertising and/or marketing off the marketplace. You can not expect sales if you are not actively marketing, and/or advertising your product - it won't happen.

Before you list on a marketplace make sure you have some social profiles, or a website. People like the fact that you are going above and beyond and would buy from you. Is it more trusting to purchase from a seller that doesn't have social media pages or no website, or one that does? Brand yourself, and you'll soon reap the benefits.
