Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick

Hello all. You may have heard about Hatchimals by now? They are the most wanted, hottest and most trending kids toy right now and are high up on most kids wish list (apparently).

Well I'm just wondering whether any marketers here have jumped on the Hatchimals band wagon craze yet in any way?

We're seeing many new Hatchimal affiliate sites up and many blogs blogging about it and trying to rank high for it so they can get some affiliate commissions from all those parents! Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick

And they are selling on places like eBay and Amazon for upwards of $450+. Actually, some people are selling Hatchimals on eBay for between $15-8000 dollars!!!

That is insane!! Insane insane!

Just look at some of these listings for Hatchimals for sale now on eBay (US eBay).

And it's the same for eBay UK as well with Hatchimals selling for £2000 or more!

The crazier thing? If you filter by sold, these are actually selling for £500 to £2000.
Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick
As you can see, some of them are listed at up to $13,000! $13,000 US dollars for a toy! Sure it's a new sort of toy on the market that isn't like anything seen before. But it's also very over highly rated! It's marketed to have 3 stages of life. So it'll come as an egg first and you'll have to persuade it to peck its way out of the egg by rubbing it. Then it will be a baby and you'll have to talk to it and play with it and it will repeat some of the things you say and that and learn new moves you teach it and that. Then it will reach kidulthood and sing "Hatchy Birthday" song to you and can do other stuff like dance and that and it's meant to take a child a fair bit of time to make it reach the adulthood.

But if you see this post on SuperiorThan about Stores charging up to $450+ for Hatchimals: Where to buy Hatchimals cheap. One mother left her review of the Hatchimal she purchased for her son on Facebook. And here's what she had to say about it.

Thought I would write a review as all Im seeing is parents desperate to get their hands on one. So this one is 1 week old and has been played with for a few hour! The best bit was it hatching and then we had to break it out as it wasn't working! It grew up from a baby to fully grown in a few hours, it doesn't talk it just records the child's voice and plays it back, has a few games that are boring and once played they don't want to play again. All you can do is feed it by tilting it forward, stroke it when it gets cold and pat its head if it's scared. Also once you take it out of the box it starts hatching takes around 20 mins to an hour so make sure your children are ready to sit with it and help it hatch. Overall not worth the money. #hatchimal

I think she purchased hers for the standard RRP of $159.99. But there are many people taking advantage of the craze and demand that these toys have created. No parent wants to say no to their kid at Christmas if they ask for one of these.

And people are taking advantage of this by selling them for crazy high prices. Those are the people that are selling those Hatchimals that you see here probably lol.

I remember when Flappy Bird game came out and was pulled from the appstore how phones that still had the game installed were selling for around $15-10k! lol

Isn't it crazy how things like that sell for prices like that. Who in their right mind would pay $10k for a phone with a simple flappy bird game installed on it?

And who in their right mind would pay $13000 for a small toy that hatches from an egg? I can only assume anyone that has more money than sense. Some vastly wealthy sheik from Dubai or a prince or something where money is no object to them lol.

Seriously, even if I was a billionaire, I still wouldn't buy one for $13000 when the RRP is $159.99. Not unless it was the last one and the life and happiness of my child depended on it LOL. But that's exactly why some people (parents) are buying them at that price!

Now there could be some big money to make here. It's the first day of Advent today so you've got 25 days to make as much money as you can from the Hatchimals craze while it lasts! LOL Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick

How to make money from the Hatchimals craze?

Well you could just be as brazen as buying one from somewhere at the RRP selling price of $159.99 and then putting it up for sale on eBay or Amazon or something at around $150 or something. + $14.99 P&P. That would be $150 bux straight profit.

Or you could even put it up for $1500 or $15000? Why not make it $15,00 or $150,000? I'm sure it would get a lot of attention LOL Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick

And if you did manage to sell one at that price, well you do the math!

Okay I'll do some math for you!

Buy all 5 different Hatchimals at the RRP of $159.99 at cost of $449.99.
Sell each for $150. That would be $450 dollars profit.
Sell each for $450 and it's double. $450 treble.
Sell them for $1500 and you're basically talking $15k profit.

I wonder if those sellers even have a hatchimal to sell? Do you think they sell it first and then buy it? Of course they do! Most of them anyway I'm sure!?

Anyway, as an entrepreneur. Have you jumped on the Hatchimal bandwagon craze yet?

What other ways could someone make money from this craze right now.

This is a classic supply and demand situation and every good eBay seller knows how to take advantage of this. Me and my wife use to go to the local Walmart and buy all of the big LEGO toys on the shelf rite before Christmas. When it got close and all hope was lost we would list it for those last minute shoppers at double the price on Craigslist and eBay. These things are $220 and i don't think 8000 is a doable price but i can see these things going for $450-$750 dollars very easily. We talked about these earlier in the month when you could actually buy them and i should have just grabbed 5 of them and held them. I should have known that this was the next big toy even though its the dumbest thing i have ever seen. Im actually going down to Walmart now to see if they have them available. Not very many kids live around here so if they have them ill just grab every single one thanks for the reminder Mike.

Mike I heard about the Hatchimals and I had a look and I thought hey this is really cool... I bet my kids would love one! Then I saw the price and nearly fainted LOL.

Yes I'm sure they are popular and the kids want them, but even if I had $8000 floating around there is just no way I would spend that amount of money, or any amount even close to that on a toy. It's just insane.

No child should be getting an $8000 toy, like ever. That is just my take.

I was thinking about writing a post on my website about these toys but it would have to be a sarcastic one where I make fun of it. I'd rather get my kids a chicken and they can watch it lay eggs and hatch some chicks and learn how to look after them.

Hey Mike,
Thank you for this topic/discussion/tutorial thing. Hatchimals Money Spinner: Make $5k Before Christmas With This Trick

It's indeed crazy, all of this, but it actually reminds me of the "flappy bird" situation a bit. You know, flappy bird? - The mobile game.
I don't actually know the whole story and I'm not 100% certain that I know all the facts etc. But it was something like this.

The developer of flappy bird decided to stop doing updates for it and he also removed it from all the different stores, so you couldn't download it for free anywhere at all.. And he did this, because he didn't feel good about him earnings TONS of money from this "rather crappy" game. - Said and done, he removed it and people went crazy.

I saw one person selling his phone with the game installed, for $250,000 or something like that. - That was truly insane. And one of my friends sold his phone for about 9,500 SEK, which is about $1030. So sure, my friend wasn't even NEAR the crazy amounts, but the phone cost him about 2500 SEK, ($420), so he did earn some money.

And yeah, this is totally a fly by night thing as Lynne mentioned. I can't see why any kid would play with this kind of toy for months or years.. And that's what they should be doing if they spend $5000+ for it.

This is simply ridiculous. I cannot understand how there could be people who would be willing to pay such exaggerated prices for a toy. Ok, the toy is interactive and original, but even the original price which is about $380 is high in my opinion. There are various awesome toys you could buy at half that price! And some are far more educational than a digital pet. Actually, you could buy your child a real pet, provided it is taken good care of, because it is far more instructive.

Regarding making money from this craze, I guess why not! Good suggestions!

These things are creepy as hell! I've checked everything about them on Youtube, pretty expensive toy but very interactive, you can actually teach it to talk and stuff like that at later stages.

I can totally understand why everyone is going nuts for them, they have a solid marketing strategy as well as a high price which I believe makes them very profitable. Did some digging and apparently this isn't a thing yet in my country, so I would keep this strategy in mind for the next Easter Holiday which is pretty big here, almost as big as Christmas.

I would give this toy a try during the forthcoming Christmas period and see how I'm going to make some money by selling them to households that are getting ready for the festive period. In as much as I don't think the price is cheap, I will give it a try.

LOL. I have to laugh considering my grandchild just asked for one at the store it was about $10. I thought that was too much money. What do I know? (O.o)
