As a Product Creator. - Would you like to hear my honest opinion or would you prefer a nice comment?

I've been selling my own ebooks and reports long enough to fully understand how things goes. - As a buyer, you'll buy a product and most of the times, you won't review it. No matter if you liked it or not. - I believe that 2-3 buyers out of 10 actually leave a review. Especially if you purchase a wso on Warriorforum for instance.

That being said, I usually never request refunds, but I don't review things either. - The truth is, that it ain't worth it. Most of the reviews you'll see on WF, is from people who got a copy of the product for free. These people will never leave a bad review.

The people who leaves a negative review, are often people who requests refunds. - And most of them are exaggerating. - All to make it hard for the author to make new sales.

So, my question is. - If I bought one of your products. Would you want my honest opinion on it, even if I can't find a single good thing about it? - Or would you want me to forget about it?

I personally, would obviously like good comments, but only if it's the truth. - I put in effort, time and my soul into my creations and I know they are good.. But I won't be able to please everyone. - That being said, an honest review are always appreciated, even though it might hurt to hear. - That's the only way I can make necessary changes and improve, so I could increase the chances to please even more people.

Well it all depends on if you're sending me a PM and leaving me your honest feedback or if you're posting it publicly lol As a Product Creator. - Would you like to hear my honest opinion or would you prefer a nice comment?

If you're posting it publicly I would hope you're not going to post anything bad because that would just hurt my overall sales. If you're having a bad time, or think I need to fix something, I would hope you contact me in private. This is the more professional way of going about the sale and I would gladly help out the buyer any way I can whether it be tweaking something that I didn't catch before or fully refunding them.

Leaving a review or comment that isn't 100% positive on a sales thread will always be seen as negative. It's sad but true and more people need to be leaving reviews if they had a good experience with the service. I always hate when I see a bad review for a service or company because I know there are probably 100 positive experiences which never ended in a positive review. And that happens because people who are happy with something will just go about their day while the angry clients will vent and post hateful stuff until they get what they want. And it's nearly impossible to turn an angry client into a happy client because they will always have it in their head that you messed something up.

In the end I always prefer being contacted via email or phone call before someone posts a comment saying they didn't have a good experience. The person may not even have the intentions of posting something negative, but if it's not positive, it hurts every time As a Product Creator. - Would you like to hear my honest opinion or would you prefer a nice comment?

Thanks,

Andre this is a great discussion.

Ok so we all obviously want great comments raving about our products, services and websites. It makes us feel good and helps us make sales and of course it also gives us a great ego boost too.

But if someone honestly does not like the product I can't see how them writing a positive review helps me, them or anyone else. Of course it will sting if someone says that my website sucks when I have put so much effort in...but if they tell me exactly what it is that they didn't like I can then decide on a course of action.

I can choose to ignore the feedback because I have taken it into consideration and that person just has different taste... different strokes for different folks.

I can decide that hey this person has a point, I can then thank my customer for helping me see a shortcoming and I can make changes to my website that will make it better. This in turn will give me even more satisfied customers.

If someone doesn't like what I offer and they explain it to me this is one of the most valuable things I can be given.

Sorry to say this but Warriorforum's community is awful, don't know if just me but I had a terrible experience there every time I posted. I've been a member of numerous popular webmaster forums and every community has a different "taste" but Warriorforum was the worst for me.

I never understood those guys, really...
Anyways, talking about reviewing products. I used no to review anything, but for a while now I understood the necessity of reviewing other people's products, it helps if the review is positive! And if I think the review is negative, I usually contact them and explain my problem before posting the negative review, most of the times I get a lot of help and fixes and everything works out.

People on WF seem to be a majority of newcomers, which is one of the reasons for people to sell their products there. It's a good potential income source. - That being said, most of my refunds are coming from WF. - I usually never argue with people who's asking for refunds, I just issue the refunds, but out of 10 sales it's common, at least for me, to have 2 or 3 refunds, especially if I sell something for $22+. - Whenever I sell something for $10, I have an average of 1 refund every 10 sales.

1 out of 10.. It ain't much to talk about really. But 2 or 3 refunds out of 10 sales. That's a huge difference. - And most people are asking for refunds due to one reason. "I already know this" or "I thought this was going to show me how I'd make $xxxx per day"

I could probably have made a small fortune by rejecting the refunds, but I'm not like that. - I want satisfied clients, but on WF, it seems like it's impossible to get 100% satisfied clients because some of the people are just plain stupid.

When designing or selling a product you have a certain bias about it because its your creation. No matter what people say or do that is just the way it is. Having an outside opinion is important and must be honest in order for the product to grow. This is why people should not pay for public opinion but rather just allow them to try it and see what they say. This is also a very affective marketing tool if everyone loves your product because then you have it documented and can use it in that nature. If you have a negative experience with what your reviewing then you should always be honest but never brutal, some would say to season it with salt. We need honestly to build if everyone lied every book, electronic, food, and more would be horrible.

I'll update this CD with an actual review from one of my products.
I'd like to say: very comprehensive and actionable guide. It contains LOTS of powerful ideas to implement on XXX to make money, not even being confined by XXX platform only. Its about consolidating all you know and can do, and finding a great way to monetize and upscale it through such services as XXX or similar.

Basically, its all about proper KNOW HOW. Andre shows the BEST WAY to setup XXX and how to properly market yourself on it so you're standing out from the rest.

Plus: How to beat your competitors on XXX, how to avoid pitfalls, how to increase your conversion rates. Plus excellent technique of turning customers into long-term subscribers.

Couple of very smart twists, which not many are aware of. Overall, it is very detailed guide down to all minute technicalities, with lots of visual images. Its hard to see how anyone could add more valuable info to this course.

It guides you even on how to start your own WSO. Author also includes many free useful links in the manual, plus innumerable ideas that help you to decide what to sell and how. Well written and very useful for those who think to start their career on XXX and sell their services. Good job, Andre!

That review ain't that shabby right? - Wanna know something? - "?I just got a review copy of XXX.", is originally stated in that text. That means, that I got this review from someone who got a copy of my product for free. - That's obviously a reason for a good review. - That specific person must leave a good review to have any chances of getting a free copy of my upcoming product. - And that's a win for him.

(XXX is a bad word on Seocheckout ^^)

It depends what you are up to. If you like to increase the reach of your items and the sales, give 10 freebies, have only the most gratifying comments even though your content sucks. This will be a subjective review written just because it was free and like you said, 99% will be positive and encouraging opinions.

If you want to find out the truth and an objective opinion about your book put a price on it. Wait for buyers to come and listen to their honest reviews. Maybe they won't be the greatest ones but at least, you will know what to fix in the future and how to correct the mistakes, if there are any.

I haven't sold any book nor ebook but i will write my memoirs one day and try to get rich. I will let you know how that went...

That's a good question. The more positive reviews you get, the better your chances of selling more as you appear to be reputable and trustworthy to prospective buyers. However at the end of the day I would really appreciate it if a buyer left an honest review where he was giving you things or features that could possibly be improved.

Pardon me for this comment which I remember from the salesmanship subject in school. Anything that is positive is welcome. Whether true or not, the positive remark on the product can really help so you don't need to be too honest. When people praise your product then accept it at face value even if it is not 100% factual. What should not be accepted are negative remarks.

Well, most times humans want the easy way out that lean towards just helping them to progress not leaving them drained especially if they have tried but are constraint by one thing or the other.I think the first time we could try to do the criticism in an enclosed way than just dropping the negative feedback openly.in as much as I will need a very honest feedback be more discrete about it than ruining my business. Mail or Pm.me about it.
