Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Everyone here knows what LinkedIn is, if you don't, you must live under a very nice rock Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

If you don't know what LinkedIn is it's an extremely large social platform for businesses and business professionals. You can build a profile on there and use it as a kind of resume if you want. I get contacted constantly by recruiters because my profile is optimized to a point where I'm usually ranked high for any search that is done in my field Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work. At least for the local market that is Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Now how can you do this? I will tell you Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Nice profile picture
Your profile has to look good in order for someone to want to work with you. What I did with my profile is that I used a profile image of me in a real life situation, I was at a wedding, and not a faked professional photo of myself sitting in front of a camera with a suite. Now some people will say that this doesn't increase conversions, but they also aren't getting people contacting them through their LinkedIn profiles on auto pilot ;) You don't have to be in a professional setting or wearing a suite, just make sure you look nice and are smiling Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

A closing background image
When I say a "closing" background image I mean it has to sell for you before anyone contacts you. You can see mine, it's the same one I'm using here on Seocheckout Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work. Here's my profile: https://www.seocheckout.com/user/Razzy

My image asks a question and answers it while easing people at the same time. It's short and sweet and right to the point, which people like. It leaves just enough out so that people want to contact me to ask more questions. And if they contact me, I can get them to sign up Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

An all star profile
Add whatever you can to your profile to make it complete. Having an all star profile doesn't show up to anyone who is viewing your profile, but it could help with the search rankings Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Fill out your profile as much as possible and build contacts. You won't be able to do this overnight so just take your time. If you do it all in one day you will feel drained. Go through a few sections and get a decent set up of your profile and then go work on something else. Come back the next day and add in more content, I guarantee that you will have more to add that you didn't think of they other day Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Optimize your profile
Yes, you can optimize your profile and the search algorithm on LinkedIn can be gamed pretty easily using keyword stuffing. Yeah, it's sad but true.

Here are some LinkedIn profile optimization tips and tricks:

  • Get your main keyword in your name, yes, your name.
  • Get your main keyword in the first job that shows up in your profile.
  • Get your second keyword in the second job.
  • Get your third keyword in the third job.
  • Add multiple jobs, even if they aren't real and keyword stuff the description section with the keywords you want to rank for.

If you've done all of the above, you will usually get a few people signing up with you each month on auto pilot Optimizing your LinkedIn profile can bring in sales with little work.

Oh my gosh Razzy, won't my name look a little silly with my keywords in? I would have to add more jobs and stuff them full of keywords LOL

So I shall now be known as "Lynne Huysamen Mommy Blogger"? heehee

Ok so an all star profile you are meaning that your profile is complete you are referring to where is says "profile strength" - ok got me all star over there.

Thank you, I didn't even see that you can add a background photo! I guess I will have to get someone to design something nice for me, since I am not very good at that.

I haven an all-star profile on LinkedIn and I can back up everything Razzy said in this tutorial.
My name is not that common but usually, there is always somebody ranking on Google that haves the same name as you. Usually, I optimize all of my profiles, no matter the website, this will increase will also my visibility on the second page of Google search (people that want to find everything about you may land on the second page)

I currently rank first on my name, but it's with my facebook profile, kinda sad because I actually want my LinkedIn profile up there.

Also, Razzy, another thing you can add to increase your visibility and overall professional look of your LinkedIn profile are to write a highly professional article on LinkIn. I actually get organic views on the one article I've written there and I plan to write even more.
Btw, what is the Linkedin limit on connections?

I am on LinkedIn, however, I am not using this professional networking site too much. I have kept my profile updated, I sometimes share my contents. I even get views on my profile page and contents I share, however, nothing substantial is happening on LinkedIn. I will have to remember OP's points on optimizing the LinkedIn profile.

I am wondering how good and easy it is with the linkedin. I don't find much leads with linkedin. And most of the time linkedin leads are nothing but connections and the spam. So it depends on how the leads from such can be good enough with the connections. I personally find not much use out of that. So I guess small business have to try other social networks.
