Thinking of buying a server and hosting websites

Hello my fellow Seocheckout friends and associates! Today i woke up and decided to start hosting websites with a server on my network, as you guys know i am an entrepreneur and self made boss. I wanted your opinion and maybe some ideas on pricing and what i could charge for this kind of thing. I have several blade servers ready to go and port forwarding can be set up pretty easily. Basically i have no start up costs, or do i? I already have internet and its very fast. I would appreciate everybody's feedback, as always i appreciate your time and comments.

Oh I don't know anything about hosting. My one website is hosted with my sister's company and my two other websites are hosted with Wealthy Affiliate so although I pay a membership fee of $72 a month it includes hosting of up to 25 websites with my own domains and 25 websites of their sub domain. I can't see I will ever have 25 websites lol.

Sorry I don't know what hosting costs because I haven't ever paid for hosting. It helps having a sister in web development with her own server lol.

I would be very interested to know what it takes to set up a hosting service or company and how profitable it can be... also how much work will be involved in that?

I hope this works out really well for you!

I think download and upload speeds when it comes to the internet would be your big concern for your servers. I currently have around 800 mbps upload and 800 mbps download speeds with my internet.

Maybe put together your own website offering cheap rates at first? You can find hosting at very cheap rates, but finding quality hosting on good rates is a hard, so that's where you come in, maybe at first you can offer high-quality stuff at very affordable prices.

But I have to ask, once you start this hosting business, what are you going to do if you are not successful? Making people change host after a few months can become a very bad user experience, so unless you are committed to success on the long run, I would personally not offer hosting services.
