Start an article wrting service and charge a lot per article - It's possible

Now a lot of people out there are always looking for the cheapest article writing service but want the quality to be amazing. But trust me, if you're willing to pay $2.50 per 500 word article, it won't be high quality. Even if the writer is from the United States and writes well in his or her examples, they will just be spinning the articles and that's not a good thing to push as your own lol.

So this is where the GOOD writers come in. So many people post crap on their websites, but the few people who have a good amount of money to invest in content writing will hire the better writers so they don't have to edit any of the work after it's submitted. I know myself I've edited plenty of articles that I bought because the content in them was all jumbled up.

If you, or someone you know, writes pretty well then you can start this up pretty easily. All you'll need is a domain, website, a few banners for advertising and some start up funding. The funding can be either from yourself, your partner if you have one, both of you, or an investor who wants to help out. It really doesn't matter where you get the money to startup, just don't treat it like it's part of your profits. The funding should be used for advertising and only advertising.

When you get your website up and running you'll need to start running some banner ads and PPC ads. When you do this you'll need to have your ads say that your service is top notch, high quality, elite, and any other word that shows you're the best of the best. You won't get a ton of orders through this type of advertising since you'll be charging $15+ per article, but the ones who do buy from you will usually be ordering test articles to see what you can do. If you impress them enough, they will usually come back and order a lot more

I had an article writing service with a friend and he did most of the writing because his words were basically gold lol. We charged anywhere from $15 to $150 per article and always had repeat customers. We also branched out and did website content for splash pages, home pages and anything else on a website that wasn't just a plain content page.

This is an easy service to set up and be profitable as long as you have $750+ to push into advertising your first week and then you boostrap all the profits in order to make even more money. You'll need to bust your ass for not payout for the first 3 months, but it would be worth it if you can live on your savings for a few months I couldn't do this again because I just don't have the time, so that's why I'm letting you guys know

I think article writing is a great way to make money online. A few months ago I had someone from a web developement company in the next town call me and ask me if I would write articles for them, I think they offered me R500 (appr $55) for 750 word articles which is not bad I guess but I didn't want to do that because then I would have no time left for writing for my own websites.

The other problem is that I love writing, but only on topics I find interesting. Imagine you get stuck with a boring topic, I would never be able to write about something that bores me to death or even worse a subject I don't understand.

I love writing a lot of my own content too. The only problem is that I never have time to do all the content myself and some of my websites don't get the amount of traffic that they should be getting

I just need to win the lottery and pay content writers to hammer out 750+ word articles all day lmao

Oh yes what I could do if I won the lottery! I think I would pay people to do more of the mundane work I do every day and then I would spend more time writing and making videos because I quite enjoy that.

If I could add a lot more content to my websites regularly I would have so much more traffic, I would love to be able to do that.

Well I would love to earn more for every article I write, but from my experience, even when I increased the price by a mere $3 , there were clients who decided that it was too high. I do not think that there are going to be that many people who would be willing to pay high prices for articles, and so I have always stuck to average rates so as to target more people. Besides anyone who is willing to pay a lot might consider hiring a full time writer - many big companies have that sort of post, and they prefer local writers.

Great topic Razzy! I'm curious, what do you think about writing like 50 articles on health related niches and another 50 articles on webmaster related subjects and only after you have around 100 articles you would look for buyers.

What do you think about this process? Writing the articles first and looking for buyers later? And how would I be able to find the actual clients? Sure there are plenty of websites out there, including SC that offers you the possibility of selling already written articles, but is it profitable? How much should I charge for 1000 words article?

I'm really interested in earning more from building content so any tips will do. Thanks.

I know that it is easier said than done but writing an article takes skills and patience. If you have the skill but you don’t have the patience then you can get bored. I know of several good writers who don’t want to write often. It is as if they are reserving their effort for a bigger writing project. No matter what the alibi, I can see that they are just lazy to write because they easily get bored. Or maybe that is the attitude of accomplished writers with the feeling that they are great writers so their creations should be to the minimum.
