So frustrated how I got my first ever negative rating! This is epic!

Wanted to share my experience with you guys even to try to calm down a bit by putting it in writing. So there is a buyer, who is clearly not native english as it is difficult to understand what he writes, but anyway - he ordered a short article and I sent it over. He decided to rate me negatively because according to him I should have made sure that the text was 100% correct before submitting.

As you may see from the 'proof' that he sent there was a medical term Achilles Tendonitis, which according to this advanced spell checker was not correct.

So, mind you this was a 250word article and there was 1 TERM OUT OF 250WORDS!

Rather than discussing this with me, he just completed the order but rated me negatively. I let him know that this is a m?edical term that can be written both ways as you can see from a WIKIPEDIA PAGE [quoting 'Tendinitis (also tendonitis)']
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendinitis

I invited him to also google other sites about this term to see for himself.

Now, please tell me - why do we have to deal with these kinds of people, and then end up getting a negative rating that has basically dented my 100% positive rating, which has been like that for over 2 years?! I feel so irritated! So frustrated how I got my first ever negative rating! This is epic!

So sorry to hear you lost your perfect score EliteWriter!
I notice you have 590 positive reviews, that's pretty incredible! I think we all get a negative review at some point. Sometimes the buyer just doesn't want to provide a positive review, may not be pleased with the outcome and there is nothing you can do about it.

I also had a perfect score until 500+ positive reviews. And I always tried to refund the buyer in return for removing that am potential negative review, until one day when I realize you can't make everybody happy so you may well take it like a man.
Anyway, try to negotiate in PM, maybe you'll fix it. Hope you do because I know how bad you're feeling right now. Cheers mate.

EliteWriter I am so sorry to hear that, truly I am. The worst is that it is because of something that is not really your fault too, that is something that I think would have gotten to me the most.

I agree with Cristian, maybe just contact him and explain how important your ratings are to you, that you understand he wanted it spelt differently but you checked the spelling and it showed correct. I would ask him to please change the negative rating.

I wish you luck with this.

Hi EliteWriter sorry for hearing such a frustrating experience form you. I saw your profile where over 590 positive rating and only one negative feedback. Which really very excellent. I am sure that only one negative feedback you had got for such irresponsible buyer, which really unfortunate. I think you have contacted with buyer and how he reacts now? According to your explanation, I think you have done right job for him So, if buyer unwilling to understand you, and if you have proper evidence, you can contact will help desk. And they should assist you.
So, you do not need to worry.

You got a negative rating due to one word that wasn't spelled like they wanted it to be spelled? That is like me spelling "color", and a person from England telling me it's wrong because it's spelled "COLOUR" there but it appears to be misspelled via my spellchecker. This is ridiculous, and you shouldn't have had a negative rating.

I feel so sorry for you, as I'm sure you tried extremely hard for the perfect positive rating only to just get a negative rating due to an alternatively spelt word. I would try to contact support to get this rectified for you.

This is really frustrating from the point of sellers. However don't take it too personally/seriously(I know this can be difficult for a dedicated seller like you). And try to negotiate with the buyer. If he is also a professional, he should understand the fault and remove that negative review.
